works sometimes and sometimes doesn’t work. Called the customer support (which you spent about 30 min to 1 hour every time you call) and all they ask you to do is do the cleaning or reset the machine. Because my machine ‘works sometimes’ and obviously I was unlucky enough that it ‘worked’ when I had the customer support on the line, I was not eligible to get my machine sent to technical support again - let alone a replacement machine even though it’s still under warranty. I’m going to throw this machine out and buy an original again - or maybe consider another brand. I have been a Nespresso client for over 10 year but the discontent with this machine is making me consider other options.

I have downloaded the Nespresso App which tells me that I should be able to connect via Bluetooth, but I haven't been able to successfully connect, after numerous attempts. Potentially if I had of been able to connect via the App, I would have known that my machine was getting close to requiring a clean, rather than just blinking at me and not letting me have my morning coffee..... not good when I was in a hurry and just wanting a quick fix before going to work. I had to google how to clean the machine as the instruction manual wasn't easy to follow. After far too long, I worked it out (be warned it takes over 10 mins to clean), but was very frustrated and the caffeine withdrawal was real. I'm going to be purchasing the descaling kit asap as I have just watched that process online and this takes about half an hour and who knows when I will get the notification for that (no doubt unexpectedly). The milk frother is a champion, very quick and does a great froth (I use lite milk). I am yet to find my perfect pod, but I think once I get there, and I keep an eye on the cleaning/descaling timeframes, I could learn to enjoy my machine.

Awesome Coffee, Terrible machine – I received the Nespresso as a Fathers Day gift. What a joy, awesome coffee and the smell wafts through the house. Called Nespresso and packed it up and dispatched for a service, free under warranty. No dramas it came back and worked a treat for a while then it died, again. Called the service centre and they were awesome, a brand new machine was sent and put to work. A few issues, it leaked water and the coffee was not all that flash. Then of all the horrors it refused to work, Zilch, nothing zip. It just stopped. In less than a month it had died and is now packed ready for a trip to get repaired. In the meantime i have coffee pods rolling in and have to wait till it is either fixed or replaced. In the meantime we will go back to a 7 year pold machine that whilst it does not look as flash, produce coffee as well it bloody works.

My machine has been in the repair shop for 51 days . After 3 weeks new it sounded like a tractor – Very ordinary product and company refuse to help . The Good guys agree . and 6th month if joining in the month of May), the machine only cost $100, so I figured it was zero risk if I wasn't happy with it. So I signed up for their subscription program because it sounded like a good deal....and that's when the problems started.

I called and emailed and went into the store to try to claim this offer. The lady in store was sort of helpful, but the program kept glitching and it just wouldn't work. No one else has helped me. No one has any idea why it's not working. And no one really wanted to look into it. So I cancelled my subscription. I will just order the pods when I need coffee. It's not worth anymore hassle.

My experience with Nespresso has been less than optimal...but the coffee and the machine is great. You can adjust each pod flavour to your own personal tastes and the machine will remember it for next time. The machine will tell you through the app when it needs cleaning. You can order the pods through an app or online. Or you can go in store and get them as well...and while you wait they'll make you a coffee of your choice...a great way to try before you buy! They also offer recycle bags so you can recycle your pods in store.
