Hi Guys,

Please help me. I have a Dick Smith Turntable AE2836 connected to my Marantz SR6015 AV Receiver via the phono inputs and it sounds really distorted and crackly low med or high volume. We then tried CD input and still no luck. What are we doing wrong and how can we get this working and sounding properly please???

We tried it with and without a pre amp but still no luck. Hope somebody can shed some light on this issue !

Cheers… John!

Hi John I have similar problem with hum/feedback when connected to my 70's Sansui amp because there is no ground on the Dick Smith AE2836. My previous turntable did have a ground wire/socket and had no feedback. Purchased the AE2836 to record digitally (which my old turntable couldn't do). I can play albums but the hum is always in the background very disappointing. See you had no replies to you question - must be a dead site or not many out of these turntable out there. Let me know if any info you can share. Regards David in Adelaide.
