Happy Amarok Tune – Took my VW Amarok for a dyno tuning not being aware that I would need to do other work but Gary & the boys at DTA will do everything they can to help you & the end result after they finished my Amarok tuning is way better than I expected. Im very impressed & satisfied with the job done. Thanks so much to the team at Hitech Workshop-Diesel Tuning Australia

[Name Removed] is not as perfect as he thinks – I had [Name Removed] do a ECU remap, install a Catchcan, and do an Inlet Manifold Clean on my Toyota 79 series (2017). THE BETTER PART OF $4000 plus change in February 2021 After receiving it back and driving it toward Canberra on the M5 a few days later I was horrified to see thick white smoke bellowing from the exhaust and immediately stopped… Read more

the vehicle. Yellow engine warning lights on etc. I phoned the NRMA and was advised by the technician to have it put on a tilt tray truck and trucked back to Sydney. Both the NRMA technician and tow truck driver also a mechanic suspected a problem with the remap as the vehicle had only done a couple of hundred Ks since the remap. Once back at my mechanic's shop he diagnosed an incorrect fuel air - mix error code from the ECU (Main computer) and advised me to have a different tuner investigate the remap done by [Name Removed] at DTA. I spoke to [Name Removed] and he assured me that "I must have got a bad batch of fuel." We took a fuel sample and contacted my local Caltex where I had filled up that morning. They said they hadn't had any other reports of bad fuel or problems. After removing the DPF to find that the filter and sensors had melted and damage had been caused to the turbo from extreme excessive heat I received a quote to have the Turbo, DPF, 3xsensors and a remap redone costing over $14000 by my mechanic and the second tuner. Fortunately after a letter of demand to [Name Removed] at DTA and Hi Tech Automotive, [Name Removed]'s insurance company paid the bill, but that was only after a lot of hassle and having my pride and joy off the road for months. The second tuner to remap my vehicle couldn't believe how far wrong the original remap was, so please tread carefully when dealing with DTA and [Name Removed] in particularly!!!
