Good morning Urmit Thank you for your enquiry, To change the temperature display from Fahrenheit (°F) to Celsius (°C) on the Dimplex DCP11MULTI portable air conditioner, follow this procedure:Method: While the unit is plugged in and in standby mode (turned off, but connected to power), press and hold the 'FUNCTION MODE' button for 5-10 seconds.Alternative: If that does not work, some similar models require pressing the Up (+) and Down (-) buttons at the same time for 3 seconds. The display should switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit. thank you Dimplex
I already mentioned like i Tried both things but still didn't work
Thank you just wanted to make sure it was in standby mode when you did that. If you can please supply your email address so we can get some more information. I will send you a private message thank you Dimplex
Have had this for 3 years without issue, suddenly the on/off switch/button is inoperable,to turn off you now need to switch the gpo off, what is the cause of this issue
Good morning Robert Thank you for your enquiry. f your Dimplex DCP11MULTI portable air conditioner's on/off switch or power button is not working, it is often due to safety lockouts, full water tanks, or a need for a power reset rather than a mechanical failure of the button itself. Check the display for an "E4" error code. Empty tank. Power reset- Unplug the unit from the wall socket. Leave it unplugged for at least 30 minutes to allow the capacitors to discharge, then plug it back in and try turning it on. If overheat protection triggered Wait 30 minutes for the unit to cool down before attempting to restart. If the unit is still not able to be turned on please advise and I will send you a message to get your email address. Kind regards Dimplex
My Dimplex DCP14 Multi isn't running after its been turned on; it definitely has power, I can turn it on but the motor won't kick in
Good morning, Anne-Marie Thank you for your enquiry. Do you have any error codes displayed? It might be caused by one of the following issues - to a safety cutoff, a full water tank, or a 3-minute delay protection circuit. E4" error code on the display. - the internal water reservoir is full. You need to remove the drain plug and remove the water. Or if safety cut-off: Turn the unit on and wait at least 3-5 minutes to see if the motor/compressor kicks in automatically. You can also turn the unit off for 30min if it has overheated. If any of these are not the causes, I will reach out to get your email address. Kind regards Dimplex
Morning, water has been drained, no errors coming up on screen, have tried the turn off and on options...still nothing.
Thank you Anne-Marie I have sent you a message so I can look into this for you

Good afternoon ... we have a Dimplex DCP11Multi unit which was sold to us as being reverse cycle. Can you please advise how we activate the heating function. When we touch the "Function" button it goes from cooling to dehumifying but not to heating. Thank you!
This model is not reverse cycle.
Hi Fiona, Thank you for reaching out. This model does not have reverse cycle. I will reach out to you directly to get some additional information. Thank s
I feel duped also, just discovered this in winter. The manual has fine print in the form of an asterisk to say only certain models have heating function, but it was totally implied. Disappointing
Hi my portable aircon has switched from Celsius to Fahrenheit how do I change it back
Hi Jackson, thank you for your question. To change temperature settings from celcius to fahrenheit or vice versa, when the unit is plugged in and under stand by, push the 'function mode' button for 5-10 seconds. Thanks
Hi, Are you able to tell me the dimensions of the box package (not the AC) as I would like to know if it would fit in my car.?
Hi, thank you for reaching out to Dimplex, the box size for the DCP14MULTI is : 360mm (W) x 782mm (H) x 578mm (L) thank you
Thanks. The AC comes with a black small tray. What is that for? Do I need to insert it anywhere in the AC? The instruction manual does not mention anything.
