very poor service. its been 4mths since we ordered our items and we have still not recieved them. We got an email requesting details of a 'credit' to our card, which to be honest spooked us into thinking it was a scam. We have today contacted them, lets see if we get our items....

They didn't have enough of the sealant in stock, but they sent what they had so it arrived quickly, then sent the rest a week later. So to be fair at 3:09pm after several phone calls I received a notification from Auspost that a label was created for my order. I was given two random tracking numbers in two calls. I’ll keep you posted Unbelievable

This is day six. I ordered very small things to see how they were. Parts I do actually need for a client. I am now at 9 emails and 4 phone calls now. The tracking number doesn't exist for Auspost. already had to replace the items I ordered. I ordered as it would take time to go get them. But I have spent more time dealing with this company for a tiny order than is my wage for the time to go get them items.

received the stock twice by now if I ordered stock from China myself. Do not support dodgy sellers like this! I have sent them an email and will contact my bank to get money back.

Better price match at Bunnings to avoid issues – Communication Ok. Refund process complicated and long. If there a risk of having to cancel or return an item you would be much better of going to Bunnings or TotalTools. Show details

Beware of buying refurbished products – I purchased a refurbished Karcher SC3 steam cleaner hoping that I could use it. It arrived safely but only came with 1 standard floor tool and 2 cleaning pads. worth a lot of money to purchase singly and the total price of the appliance would end up more than buying a new one out of the box. This was not clear to me at the time of purchase. They will return the item but I need to pay for the return postage by AusPost (about $30).

Today it arrived via a well respected courier, and was completely wrapped in black plastic to conceal the contents of the package, which I thought was very proactive and clever. In summary, I bought it last Friday and it's delivered the following Tuesday! How about that for excellent customer service. I highly recommend this company to all intending customers.

Sure may take little longer to receive my generator but when I can save nearly $150 on freight I'm not complaining they were professional and have excellent communication and knowledge of the products they sell turn around time from purchase to dispatch was also very prompt, I have no hesitation in recommending discount trader for all your building and power tool requirements.
