Recently purchased a stratco pergola, 13th july 2026. paid in full at the time of purchase ($35000) very prompt delivery, delivery guy was great but. No drawings, no engineers certificate that should have been sent with the steelwork etc, builder requires them before starting. and keep getting told 'I'll send them when ive recieved them from the engineers. Aftersales is not great. I made contact regarding a Stratco outdoor kitchen following my pergola order. Believing that once the pergola is up, I will then install the outdoor kitchen. Definitely won't be now.

A huge thank you to Leon for your help with the recent purchase and assembly of a couple of Stratco steel louvre air con covers. I installed two of the same covers about a year ago at my home. do not answer their phone ! (Ever ). Even when you rang the Perth office and request them to answer the phone, they still will not answer the phone or return a phone call. Potentially, the worst company I have dealt with in this town. Millennial‘s must be supervised !

Stratco at Thornton 3 times to follow up on the quotation and all I ever hear is "I will chase it up and get back to you" I have even sent them a copy of the auto response email and still I hear nothing, not even the courtesy of a phone call or email to say they are working on it. All I hear is crickets. For god sake, it's a standard bloody pergola kit. Sorry Stratco but I certainly won't be wasting "my" valuable time to call you again.

I was possibly served by an inexperienced salesperson. During the ordering process I asked about a 3.5 metre width door option. I was told the 3 metres was set into the design. paid, I did a direct debit to your BSB and account with OSKO. I was told they couldn't give me a receipt until the payment cleared. It is my information that OSKO clears immediately, however, I never received the final payment receipt. I was also overcharged by error. I was informed the monies owing to me would be repaid by accounts over a week later. I complained and my payment was expediated, thankyou. Perhaps a senior salesperson should check all options have been covered prior to sign off. I definately would have gone the higher and wider option. Overall I am satisfied, my shed is currently under construction and looks great. My small critisisms are meant to be constructive, for learning, not for any adverse action against the salesperson.

For an extended period exceeding five minutes, we remained unattended. During this time, the two visible staff members, engrossed with other patrons at the design desk, conspicuously avoided eye contact. When their gazes did intersect with mine, they offered nothing but blatant disregard. There was no acknowledgment, no courtesy of a 'Hello, someone will be with you shortly,' no apology for the delay, nor any attempt to briefly excuse themselves to process our transactions, which would have taken mere moments. One cannot help but ponder if my departure with the merchandise would have finally elicited a response. This blatant oversight extended to the customer behind me, who also sought a swift transaction.

Eventually, a young woman emerged from what appeared to be a staff area. After leisurely attending to her personal items, she meandered to another desk before her eyes met mine, a silent acknowledgment of my growing dissatisfaction. She then approached to serve, and despite my lighthearted remark about contemplating an unannounced departure, her response was not one of apology or empathy. Instead, she offered a defensive explanation regarding her absence and her colleagues' engagement with other customers. A simple 'sorry for the hold-up' or even a polite smile was conspicuously absent. Her demeanor, unfortunately, mirrored that of her colleagues, collectively devaluing my presence as a customer.

Given this thoroughly disheartening encounter, I can unequivocally state that I will not be returning to this store. The evident disregard for customer experience is truly remarkable

We designed and ordered our Outback Patio in store and really impressed how easy and helpful the whole process was. My one complaint was the quality of the beams. They are roll formed and at nearly every end they were damaged so they just didn't look as good as they could when butting up to intermediate beams. Show details ·  1

We have just had a Stratco Patio installed by LT Construction Group in Flinders. The workmanship, price, warranty and everything has been done so professionally and nothing was too much trouble by the team. We are so thrilled with the end result and can`t recommend them highly enough. Show reply

Avoid at all costs. We have an incomplete shed kit for months now. They damaged the roller door before transport. Months later we still don't have it and we found out about other missing parts (doorframe, door) as well as the wrong colours for the sliding door. for our stuff in the shed whilst moving into a new but smaller house. With the shed being delayed, it affects our living space and we are not happy.Our builder is getting very annoyed with the build finding out about missing parts every time he drops by. He also complains about the plans..Stratco is wasting everyone's time and they don't care. Here we are with a half built frame. No end in sight of this, what was supposed to be an easy shed build.

I bought a Pool Pump shed and a Handi-Saver Garden Shed. The service I received from the local store was very helpful (hence the 1 star) but was told that Stratco don't assemble small sheds so it was a DIY project. The instructions for both sheds were so lacking in detail it turned out to be a nightmare 3day job.

Then this year we hen we had heavy rain we noticed that it was leaking from in between the sheets, that had us a bit concerned for electrical and insulation inside would either get mouldy or damaged. When I contacted the contractor he came out and said it was our fault as gutters were blocked and it was a feature for it to leak there to stop damage. Which doesn’t make sense as electrical and insulation are in there.

But we left it, at another date we had other trades out to complete some work with our aircon and they mentioned that the flashing appeared to be installed incorrectly and it was possibly a poor quality job and not up to standard which then would maybe make sense why no electrician wanted to quote the job and ghosted us.

At this point I contacted stratco direct and after multiple follow ups I finally had a manager contact me and a few weeks later eventually turned up to look. He said that he will organise another contractor to come and inspect and he install and let us know if there was any issues or not. Since then after multiple follows to the manager we have been ghosted.

No response at all. All I want at this point is them to either come and inspect and say there is no issues and it is good and explain the leaking properly. Or say there is an issue and rectify it. But after months of chasing this up I’m being forced to leave this review.

Purchased a Category A shed that cost over $50K. I have spent over $15K fixing issues such as water leaks, wrong specs, having to change internal plumbing, etc because stratco had no idea what they were doing. over 300 holes in thick steel. I want to warn people to stay away from stratco as they will cost you thousands as they have no idea what they are doing/selling. Their customer services is appalling and they will constantly lie and try to ignore you and provide no assistance once they get paid.

Please don’t make the same mistake I did !!!

When you spend over $15k on a louvre pergola and it stops working after just 3.5 years, you expect better. I raised the issue with Stratco and had to follow up multiple times over 1.5 months just to get a response. components — was incredibly disappointing. On top of that, Stratco doesn’t repair; they only replace, and the parts alone were quoted at $1,200.

Ignore the flashy brochures and advertising. Consider this experience before choosing a company with such poor customer aftercare.

The fact that it took 1.5 months to provide an answer, right in the middle of summer when the pergola is actually needed, just adds further insult..

Just completed putting our new Handipod together. Instructions were great and it all came together really well. All the wall panels came with a protective film on them which was great. It would have been a 5 star review if the door had come with the protective covering as well as it ended up getting scratched. The Handipod looks great, I would highly recommend. Show reply
