surface washer also came without original box/manuals stuffed inside air pillows & could be missing some other accessories. Coming from what used to be a reputable national retailer where I have purchased from numerous occasions in the past, this is downright disappointing & quite simply unacceptable. Stay far far away from them!

the electrical appeared to be run and it was ‘odd’ then would not get back in contact with a quote.
Then this year we hen we had heavy rain we noticed that it was leaking from in between the sheets, that had us a bit concerned for electrical and insulation inside would either get mouldy or damaged. When I contacted the contractor he came out and said it was our fault as gutters were blocked and it was a feature for it to leak there to stop damage. Which doesn’t make sense as electrical and insulation are in there.
But we left it, at another date we had other trades out to complete some work with our aircon and they mentioned that the flashing appeared to be installed incorrectly and it was possibly a poor quality job and not up to standard which then would maybe make sense why no electrician wanted to quote the job and ghosted us.
At this point I contacted stratco direct and after multiple follow ups I finally had a manager contact me and a few weeks later eventually turned up to look. He said that he will organise another contractor to come and inspect and he install and let us know if there was any issues or not. Since then after multiple follows to the manager we have been ghosted.
No response at all. All I want at this point is them to either come and inspect and say there is no issues and it is good and explain the leaking properly. Or say there is an issue and rectify it. But after months of chasing this up I’m being forced to leave this review.

I asked for express shipping and compensation due to thier mistake and failing to follow up on shipping. With no compensation or anything for good faith for thier mistake, essentially I have to hurry and wait. Good price but wasn't worth the wait when I could have gotten alot sooner for not much more expense. It's been over a month and will be another week or two for the tools to arrive. Poor customer service on the online department for their mistake.

lends itself to squeezing the bottom of the tyre and when it does, the top opens allowing the bike to sway.
I also did away with the hand tap and opted for a direct line into one of my air compressor lines. Add to that I lubed up all the pivot points, roller channels and rollers plus followed the manual and added some air tool oil into the ram feed. The table now goes up just as fast with a bike on it than it did fresh out of the box with no load.
The ramp does stay up when table is raised so next I'll modify it so its a little bit longer, add some rollers to it and remove some of the material from the ramp where it meets table so it can fold down when raised and roll out when the table is lowered.
In all I'm very happy with my purchase and would buy one again if required.
Its perfect for home jobs but I wouldn't use it in a motorcycle shop. I've worked and currently still work in the motorcycle industry and this table just wont suit in a workplace like mine. If it had a different style clamp and sat a bit lower it would be fine but in its out of the box configuration its great for home jobs.

Having had a Yardman pull-start log splitter for 20 years, I decided that an upgrade to the BBT 40/65 Ton Hydraulic Wood Log Splitter with KOOP 192… Read more
12HP Diesel electric start engine was appropriate. While the service and attention from BBT was excellent, I am very disappointed with the purchase. Two major and one minor problems – the reach of the wedge is too short to split logs. It stops 4 inches from the back plate, meaning you must turn the log over each time to complete the split, a difficulty with heavy logs. Secondly, the piston driving the wedge stutters and shudders each time it advances the wedge. Unlike the Yardman, the hand control has no automatic advance shut-off and reverse, a safety feature, thus requiring constant hand control, a minor complaint perhaps. While the key start is great, the simple fact that it cannot fully split a log means that the machine is not worth the expense.
Shortly after posting my BBT review of the 40/65 Ton Hydraulic Wood Log Splitter with KOOP 192 12HP… Read more (+1 reply)

The absolutely useless tracking provided shows it is in Melbourne and has been for the past 5 days, but at the same time says it has been delayed but has left the delivery date the same - today… coming via road to Sydney!!! I’ve been on live chat - found out there’s no such thing as- just bot saying someone will text me - no text yet. To ask a question to market place - you have to send an email and you might get an answer in 24 hrs. This is utterly hopeless. I have no idea what is going on. One thing is for certain though - Bunnings has my money and I have no product. Never again will I purchase through Bunnings.

dodgy warranty? They won't print negative reviews on their site either.
Trade Tools Vices,, is there a worse vice than a Trade Tools Vice? I don't think so. They would have to be the most brittle cast iron trash in the market. I have had two of them and they both cracked just out of warranty. I have still got a patched up Trade Tools swivel type sitting on my bench that lets go if you use any force.
This is how their warranty worked for me: About a year ago I bought one of their "home brand Dremel" type tools & the switch broke on first use. I took it back & the guy said you bought this a month ago, & I said "yes" but today was the first use. Trade Tools said sorry we cannot give you a replacement but we can fix it.
So get this, they wouldn't replace it but they got a brand new tool out of a box on display, stripped it down on the front counter in front of me & put that new switch in mine, how slack is that. And then it broke again a week later. I decided to cut my losses & put it where it belongs "IN THE BIN".
When they had their old Trade Tools shop (now Sydney Tools) I purchased a STAR Touch up spray gun which was broken before I even used it because it was manufactured faulty & it would not stop blowing air. It had not even had paint in it when I took it back & the staff member said that was how they were meant to be. I said nonsense mate, please give me another gun or a refund. He said sorry no refunds here, and then he made me wait for just over an hour before he got me another one from out back. He was rude & arrogant.
Last week, "out of pure necessity", I had to go there again to by one of their "Renegade" touch up Spray guns ($109.00 - RI102AG-HVLP), and I also bought two different needles & nozzles for it as well (another $60.00 bucks). I would not have gone there if I had a choice, but due to supply circumstances in Brisbane it had to be Trade Tools unfortunately.
First use, I put 100mls of paint into the reservoir to set it up for painting & it leaked paint & spluttered from the nozzle because the brass nozzle holder in the gun body was not even done up tight so it was blowing air & paint out between the join & before it even reached the needle & Nozzle.
This time I did not bother about taking it back to be treated like a criminal, I just repaired it myself. It now works good enough to be a primer spray gun, but that is all it is good for.

some quotes from companies. In the end after waiting for callbacks, I decided to attempt it myself. I rang around and discovered that Trade glass depot was one of the cheapest for supplies and gave me all the advice I could possibly ask for. He rejigged my plan, gave me the measurements that were necessary and with very detailed instructions, I called a couple of friends that would be able to help me as some of the glass is quite heavy. I followed the instructions to the letter and I was very surprised at how it turned out. I am very very pleased with the result and I cannot thank Phillip and the guys from trade glass of depot enough.
