Probably the control board, but there’s 2 , the technician wasn’t bright enough to know which one was faulty so said he would have to order two new ones , it was a brand new machine that had never been used and Electrolux who own dishlex refused to honor the guarantee so told them to stuff it and bought a new machine . Good luck getting it fixed !

My Dishlex DSF6106X has the 12 flash issue. Bought a new pump and fitted it and it did not help. So what now. Do I just waste more money or buy a new Dishwasher?

theoretically its possible . But as I mentioned on my review there is absolutely no support from the company and no useful information online..If by chance you contact the company .You will be asked whether your product is still under warranty? If not its a $150 call out fee..

Mine the same, have checked the inlet valve which works so suspect it’s the motherboard, any dishlex technicians around...?

I had exactly the same issue (12 flash error light ) I unplugged it from wall socket for a week pondering a new DW purchase. The 9 yr old dishlex is now working again. I suspect it is the motherboard control , not sure how much longer it will work ! The 2 button reset did nothing to help at all. Overall has been a great inexpensive unit.

It sounds like it might be the mother board in my case, it cuts out after 30 seconds and wont start again for a while. If you open the door the light comes on but it cuts out when you shut the door. It has done this before and worked ok for a few months, now it seems terminal.

Thank you for your advice. Did you try and approach Electrolux to fix it. I thought they might contact me as they appear to address other people's problems.

Hi our dishwasher dsf6106w flashes 12 times. Can anyone tell me what the problem is?

BFJS
BFJS · DSF6106X (Stainless Steel)

You Our DSF 6106X (only two years old never had a problem) is flashing three times indicating anti flood error. It started when there was excess food on plates, which I have subsequently removed from the bottom of the dishwasher. I have tried turning off the machine overnight. When I pour water into the machine, the machine pumps out the water fine. The pump just keeps going, stopping every few minutes for about 10 seconds, then starting again.

Possibly a blocked pump, down below the filter? Or the bottom plate is flooded, tipping the dishwasher forward may clear it, and get your feet wet

Our above dishlex has the light on at 12.00 position and bottom right arrow with vertical line light flashes pulled out of power point. Held down two reset buttons for 15 seconds no luck

Its a known fault with this model, but Dishlex won't do anything if its out of warranty. Try another brand that is a little more supportive when they produce an inferior product.

Hi, is it expensive to get a service call? my DSF6106X won't start, flashes the 'finished cycle' I don't know how old it is as it was in the apartment I bought 22 months ago. A new one from a seconds store is $499 delivered so I'm thinking I should take that option rather than spend $s on repairs... any opinions?

Robyn
Robyn

I was told $150 call out fee. Our dishwasher is only 4 years old been repaired a few times. We figured it was cheaper to get an Aldi dishwasher with a 3 year in home warranty for around $350. Throw it out, start again if it dies after that. No more Dishlex for us. Your problem sounds similar to ours - it was same problem all the time. Aldi dishwasher is better I feel, its been great.

thank you so much, Robyn, I hate the thought of land fill, but have paid $400+ for washing machine repairs, fighting with LG and still no satisfaction after 3 months. I don't want a repeat of that experience!

Mine is doing the same. It’s still under warranty, so I’m waiting for them to come back to replace a part. The service man said if I tipped the machine over to let it manually drain, it would work for 1 or 2 washes, then the same problem would occur. It’s something to do with a faulty float switch.
