Horrible experience. Paid $249 to check gas after unit had been vacant a year. Made this clear in the original email. Instead, I literally get an invoice saying we recommend to change your gas hot water system to electric. For over $4,000. I didn’t ask for this. I recently had a new hot water system replaced, so am bewildered by this new change.

Worst though, after enquiries, they admit gas wasn’t even connected. They could have told me.

Absolute waste of $249. Tried to resolve it with them first but they doubled down tring to justify their position recommending I spend over $4,000.

Will avoid.

Had work done twice now. Very professional and say it as it is. Great quotes and good workmanship. They even give good advice to keep down costs. The plumber walk into the room and within minutes found the leak and in an hour repair it. Highly recommend their work and they fully cleaned up after. Try them once and I think you will be happy with their work.

PROFESSIONAL AND GREAT SERVICE-Sam Eckley – Sam Eckley, did a great job in my unit, installing a bedroom ceiling fan with remote and replacement of 2 x bathroom extraction fans. He’s polite, friendly and very efficient. Highly recommended. Also I find Dorrington, one of the most reasonable in pricing in Perth. Have used them a few times now.

Electrician went over and above – I recently had my range hood changed by Dorrington. It hit a snag as the new one couldn't fit properly. Instead of saying to me tough luck, the electrician went out of his way to Bunnings and got some parts and fixed it up real good. It took a little longer than expected but I was happy to pay the extra hours to get it installed properly. I've used their plumbing service as well and it was equally great. They're always courteous, friendly and would go the extra mile to ensure the job is done well.

Great Service – I've used this company on many occasions and their service is fantastic. Lovely office staff and great tradesmen who are skilled and do a good job. Appreciate them taking off their boots indoors, cleaning up afterwards etc. Always on time.
