APO today, just a few days after ordering. Good on APO too. Of course I had a little wait on the phone but understandable when some calls might be a little complicated. It is so gratifying being able to speak to a real person who puts in the extra effort. And I found Alex very easy to talk with. Thank you Alex.

Make sure that they ship you the right thing, or you will be out of pocket – I bought a dishwasher draw online from Doug Smith. It was over $150. The product shipped was wrong. I was told that I need to ship back - with a $40 cost - before I could get back my $150. I'm aggrieved that why I need to pay $40 for a mistake by Doug Smth Spares.

not quite. It seems certain Omega ovens have almost an identical digital clock but it's push button type not touch screen. The guys at Doug Smith Spares apologised for the error and immediately sent me a return post barcode which I used to send back the item and soon after they refunded the full cost back to my bank account. I really appreciated the professionalism these guys showed. Well done. I have to also say that their website is very comprehensive in the spares available for a huge range of appliances.

I wish everything was as easy and reliable – Website was easy to browse, ordering was a breeze, found the part we needed to fix our microwave (there are so many similar variants but it was still easy to find!) and the exact part arrived carefully packaged in 2 business days. March 2023 spare parts Doug Smith Spares – 2023 March I wanted a part for my Kenwood stand mixer.A couple of the Team Members were really fast in finding the parts on the same morning that I called them. Compliments to this company as they have proper customer service. They answer the phoneand are really fast in their email responses. So good to deal with a human. Excellent service ! They tracked down a part no longer available and saved my fridge ! – Fantastic result. I needed an electronic display module for my Westinghouse fridge, none available anywhere at any price. Matt and his team found the last one in existence in Perth and arranged the purchase. The price was excellent as well. 2 days later it arrived, I fitted it and the fridge was fixed ! Well done Matt !

Amazing service – Just wanted to say a huge thanks to Alex on the spare part customer service line. I rang searching fo a very obscure part for a Chef electric oven and he was fantastic, working out what I needed (different from what I thought I needed), texting me a photo to check it was right, then personally getting a postpak and posting the part to me. I was extremely impressed, amazing service. Thank you!

Unhelpful, Unknowledgable, Disinterested – I waited on hold for 17 minutes. No problem, i am happy to wait. On hold i listened to a recorded message telling me about Doug Smiths mission to be helpful and sell quality products....ask our consultant for advise etc.... playing with her hair as she dismissed every question I asked her. Nup, nah, cant help, don't know etc I wouldnt bother with this parts supplier again. Its a shame for a business who no doubt want to offer good service to have staff like this. Some staff development in customer service would be a good investment. Im not too being harsh, but surely this is not the image this organisation wishes to portray.

Panasonic microwave spare parts – I rang them and received excellent service on the phone. The customer rep sent me a complete manual of spare parts for that model by email. The rep helped me identify the faulty part in the exploded diagram. It was 60% cheaper compared to the prices from other warehouses. Part arrived in the mail as promised.
