This shop pretends that they are Australian but are located in Singapore, therefore I ended up paying gst on top of the advertised price and warranty will likely be invalid as they don't seem to be an authorised dealer of Casio. Never again!

WARNING!!! SCAM!!! DO NOT PURCHASE!!! – I had an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience with DownUnder Watches, and I want to warn others before they fall for this company’s misleading advertising and poor service. I purchased a watch solely because they advertised FREE delivery, same-day dispatch, and an estimated delivery time of 4-5 days—perfect for Christmas. The day… Read more

after I placed my order (and after they should have already dispatched it), I received an email stating that my address required additional postage costs. This was AFTER I had already paid for the watch and been assured that delivery would be free.

On top of this, they then informed me that delivery would take 2-3 weeks, not the 4-5 days advertised. This was not just false advertising—it was outright deceitful. The watch was supposed to be my daughter’s Christmas gift from Santa, and my kids only get one gift from Santa. Thanks to DownUnder Watches, it’s now too late to order from another retailer in time for Christmas, and their false promises have completely ruined the surprise.

The lack of transparency and honesty in their advertising, coupled with their failure to meet the commitments they advertised, makes this company feel like nothing more than scam artists. I’m appalled by their practices and regret ever trusting them.

If you’re considering purchasing from DownUnder Watches, don’t. Save yourself the frustration and shop elsewhere.

Watch arrived but poor experience – I thought I’d write this as there isn’t a whole lot of info right now. These guys are from Singapore yes, and you will receive your item from Singapore. When I ordered there was no confirmation leading me to believe I was scammed. After me emailing them they reached out to me after a few days letting me know the item is on its way with a tracking… Read more

number.

The item arrived after maybe two weeks, and it has warranty papers, in the box etc so I believe it’s a real product. I think I was a bit concerned at the a start given lack of confirmation email. Once they fix that the experience would be much better

I was ripped off $370- Steer Clear of this company- Watch broke down on first day – I purchased a Seiko watch from them - through Amazon- they Trade as a company called CW Watches- but when you track them down it is this company. The stopped working after a day, I arranged a refund via Amazon- They approved it but never paid my money back. I am still going through Amazon to get this resolved. They are dishonest and untrustworthy. I suspect that the watch is a counterfeit Show details

Scam site – Order placed 27/11/22 and an email stating the order was complete on 28/11/22. No shipping details and when emailed multiple times, no response. Their site stated the order was completed, however not received and unresponsive. Site links to Singapore. I believe this to be a scam and have reported to PayPal. Very disappointed with my own… Read more

gullibility at Christmas time. BUYER BEWARE. UPDATE: today my watch was delivered as promised. Thankfully it was not a scam, but their correspondence and request for additional delivery costs were highly unusual. I would not risk another purchase.

Poor Quality Product – The name Downunder suggests that this company is Australian, or at least located in Australia. It is not. There is a Victorian address, but a google maps search shows no evidence of the company being located there. There is a phone number, but nobody ever answers. The company is located in Singapore, so your bank will charge you an additional… Read more

overseas transaction fee. The quality of the product was poor and the watch was very inaccurate, even given that mechanical watches are not as accurate as digital watches. I returned the watch, and fortunately, Paypal came to the rescue and I received a refund

An unauthorised seller of watches based in Singapore – Unfortunately, Downunder Watches is a scam. They're an unauthorised seller of watches, which basically means the warranty that the watch comes with is invalid. I know this as I bought a Seiko watch from Downunder Watches in Nov 2018. 9 months later the watch either began losing time or would simply stop dead. After contacting Downunder Watches… Read more

they advised me to contact Seiko in order to fix it. I contacted Seiko who advised me to send them the watch along with the warranty, which I did. Once received, they informed me I would have to pay for the watch to be fixed myself as the warranty is not valid as Downunder Watches are not an authorised seller of Seiko watches. When I contacted Downunder Watches they initially ignored all of my emails. Try calling Downunder Watches - you will find the number always goes straight to voicemail. Leave a message and you'll never get a response. I eventually got a response from Downunder Watches via email saying they would give me either 20% of what I paid for the watch back or I could send it to them to fix it - by the way, they're actually based in Singapore, not Australia as they would like you to believe. Read other reviews and they'll confirm how Downunder Watches promise to cover all costs of shipping but never do. Basically, Downunder Watches is a scam, a company that illegally sells watches with a "100% guarantee and warranty" which is nothing but a lie. I've currently forwarded all information on from Seiko to both Paypal and American Express which is how I paid for the watch for them to investigate. Do not buy from this company as the watches, along with the warranty are fake.
