Terrible smell. It’s like petroleum. The effect of the product on my skin is not bad but only average at best, and certainly no better than Vaseline Intensive Care. that there had been a change to the ingredients. Nowhere on the packaging did the company make the customer aware of this. They wouldn't give me a refund only an exchange product! I loved this brand and people always commented on my skin. What a stuff up!

So disappointed – I have been using the night cream for many years and loved it, it was perfect for my skin. The smell is absolutely awful – I loved this night cream and to me was one of the best on the market. Now, the smell of it is like a mechanical workshop. It smells disgusting. Have googled why the bad smell but can’t find an answer. Will not buy it again!

Formula has changed and it’s dreadful! – Been using this product for 20 years and loved it. It has completely changed and not for the better! Has a strong smell, (not unlike something a mechanic would use on a car) and feels a bit scary putting it on my face! Thought it was off so purchased another and unfortunately it was the same. I was embarrassed to think that the gifts I gave may have been the same.... I too will switch to another product. It was good before and very effective. Changed formula with a terrible smell – I have been using the night cream product for over 25 years and absolutely have loved it in the past. Lewins for 30 years day cream night cream eye cream but will not be buying again. There was not explanation letter with the replacement. I checked out a sample jar of the day moisturiser in Chemist Warehouse and it was an apricot colour.

Very grainy – Moisturiser was very grainy and is hard to apply. More like a face scrub you use in the shower. Thought maybe a bad batch, not sure but really didn't like it at all.

Full of scratchy little granules, not unlike a facial scrub – I tried this night cream because it was included in a special pack with the eye cream and the day cream (which I always use). they get pulled across in the sticky cream. Not sure if it's supposed to have the little scratchy pieces. They do seem to dissolve after being on my skin for a minute or two. I feel like I'm putting facial scrub on my face without water and then leaving it overnight.

Can't live without – I have been using this night cream for over 10 years. The cream is quite thick and moisturises well. In the morning my skin looks fresh and skin tone looks better. People compliment me on what a lovely skin I have.

binned. Nothing worked for me. The topical medicine from the Doctor didn't work either. But this cream has. The redness has nearly all faded, most of of the acne is gone. No more peeling and the dry patches are gone. Texture of skin is now smooth and lovely. I've never been happier and can sleep in comfort :)

So far, love the eye cream, it is silky and light. Day cream seems thick & does not easily absorb into my skin. Smell a little off putting, smells like paint, but on the whole didn't feel too bad.

I have just used the night cream. No smell, so that's good. Not easily moved across my skin. But as I said this is my first day of trying it and I know the quality of the products it contains so I will reserve judgement and try it for a month before making a judgement. From other reviews it sounds promising. I am also going to try the cleanser, toner and scrub as the toner contains aloe barb. and this is also an amazing skin care product. Very optimistic.

Harsh – I used this a few times thinking the redness the next day was a coincidence. Worst night cream ever. Extremely harsh, had Red blotches for a week after using. Had to buy medicated creams to fix the damage. Be careful when using this.

NOT HAPPY – I bought both advanced day cream and night cream and found them unsuitable for my skin. Have NEVER had a problem with moisturizers and only bought this because of reputation but found them far too harsh for my skin. By the way I dont have sensitive skin but my face broke out in angry red welts.

application of make up. I would rather buy estee lauder for day cream, but this night cream is excellent and is my all time favourite. My all time extravagance!! Love, love love this cream. My skin absolutely glows brilliance! Price is too high.

Bad – I was very disappointed with this cream, it was obcenely expensive and very hard to apply. I virtually had to drag the cream over my face. It was far too thick and gluggly. Excellent – I have been using this cream for over 10 years, I use it for a day moisturiser as well, this product suits my skin, I would never buy any other brand. Smooths fine lines, fades pigmentation Nothing to dislike

Excellent – worth the money. great product. lasts forever (a small jar will last me about 6 months) and my skin is so nice. but stick to the day cream if your prone to outbreaks. make your skin sooo soft, vibrant, glowing. evens skin tone. it makes your skin feel softer than you could ever imagine. at first my skin got a few outbreaks of acne but after a week or two my skin adjusted and i've never looked back

morning I found that my skin felt soft and supple, without any greasiness. The packaging is nothing out of the ordinary. A pump would be preferable to a screw top jar, though the container is somewhat elegant. While this is a good product, I do not think it is good value for money when bought at its regular price. Skin feels softer and plumper. This cream actually does moisturise skin during the night. It is an expensive product to buy. Not good value for money. Product is also very thick.
