This is not it!!! – I used these products many years ago and they were great. Recently purchased several of there products including this moisturiser and had to stop using them. After a day or two I noticed my skin was dry, itchy and hot touch. Became visible red and inflammed and couldn't stop scratching it. Would not recommend

great value considering the jar size & to be honest although I've tried others off n on over the years nothing has ever come close to this my most favourite moisturiser ever. I have sensitive and delicate skin and have never had any type of allergic reaction from it. I buy it at a good prices and it's definitely my "must have"... This is the best, forget the rest!

Best moisturiser – I have been using this cream for over 30 years and I love it. Two weeks off the product and my skin is literally flawless as it used to be, and i no longer have the problem. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on this crap! Must be some nasty chemicals hiding in it.

This moisturiser needs to be taken off the market - expect a severe reaction – I've used Dr Lewinns for years but recently changed from my normal Lewinns moisturiser to this one. was separated and the consistency was abnormal and not Ok. There are some similar active ingredients between day and night cream, so although the day cream (which I used) looked OK, there is a good chance that in a matter of time, that looked like the night cream as well. I lodged a complaint with the company and after a month, they eventually get back to me with lab test results on day cream. They basically denied any issues with the cream which had caused my skin to become swollen, red, dry and painful for 4 days disregard to all evidence provided (like dr certificate, pictures of myself and cream, and receipt of purchase/refund, this review site which shows other impacting customers, etc.).

Drys skin! – I have been using this cream for 3 days and it has caused my face to dry really bad. My skin feels like sandpaper because of this cream. Little goes a long way – As I have mature skin I find this product just fabulous. You don’t need a lot 5 cent piece will do your face. I have used this brand for 5 years and various moisturisers and this is miles ahead. Highly recommend to over 50’s. I have normal to dry skin.

Bad reaction – My wife used this product. After two days of use, her face came out in a nasty red itchy rash. Cost her two doctor consultations to work out that it was most likely the face cream. Took two weeks for the rash to clear and even now months later, putting other creams, which were never a problem before, on her face, her skin now stings. She will never use this product again.

Why is this product still on the market? – I bought this product for a friend who uses it after finding it on special at a local pharmacy. first application my skin did not feel as hydrated as I would like from a moisturiser but after about an hour my skin, surprisingly, did feel smoother. I realise now that the smoothness was actually tightness building from an allergic reaction. Hindsight being a wonderful thing, it was only after the second application that I realised this cream was causing a moderate and now prolonged allergic reaction.

Like many reviewers on this site, my skin feels warm and flushed, it feels tight and slightly numb, and is covered in a very fine rash of tiny bumps.

I work peripherally in the beauty business and I cannot believe this cream, causing so many of us to experience moderate to severe allergic reactions, is still on the market. I do not suffer from allergies and have not had an allergic reaction to a product in the past.

I have written to Lewinns and am in the process of filing an allergic reaction complaint through the pharmacy I purchased it from. I’m sure they think I’m being a pest, but with so many people on this site experiencing the same reaction from the same cream, ( it appears the rest of the range may be ok), something must be done to raise awareness.

A bad reaction – Some people love it where others cannot tolerate. My skin broke out so itchy I was scraping at my skin and tripling my antihistamines intake. that is numb swollen and looks like I've had a Botox injection. Ice feels good however I cannot feel it as lip is numb and upper lip is only affected.

Day 3 now after I stopped using it and my skin still has bumps like sandpaper and feels very dry. Usually I can go a week without having to moisturise. My skin is normally so hardy and clear.

Worst product for me. Wouldn't advise anyone to use it ever!

During that one week whatever I applied on my face felt uncomfortable and with stinging sensation, but I had to apply some sort of moisturiser because my skin started to become dry and flaky. Whatever natural, least harsh products I used, still everything had that following stinging sensation. I was worried. The only thing that soothed my skin was a natural pawpaw ointment and during the shower time I would use a little bit of Aveeno wash (seems like colloidal oatmeal actually does the job with soothing irritated skin). It’s good that I did not pay anything for this cream, got it as a gift. On the other hand I do use the same range day moisturiser and eye cream, no issues with these two at all. I guess the night one just wasn’t for my skin type. The cream is reaaaally rich and yellowish colour (that made me doubt whether the cream is not spoilt) but apparently that’s how it is.

Awful – Every time I use this I get swollen itchy eyes even if I strictly avoid my eye area. my eye area is like I have been crying for days. Never again. Use it on your legs!!!!!

Allergic Reaction – I use this product for four days and developed swollen eyelids and puffiness on my cheek bones, itchy and dry skin and very hot. After using antihistamines for 24 hours, not a lot has changed. I have also been applying cold packs for the heat and swelling. I do not have sensitive skin and have never had a reaction to creams prior to this I will not be using this product or recommending it.

reaction and although slightly less itchy, its still very inflamed and red looking, very tight, the little pimply lumps have reduced but I can feel them and my skin does not feel smooth anymore. My eyes are still slightly swollen like I've been bitten by a mosquito, being oriental my eyes look even more smaller! Great cream – This is great for many reasons. Not perfumed, no sunscreen (am allergic and most products have sunscreen), collagen, vit E and A. more even skin tone. I use no foundation and people keep telling me I look very well. I am 46. Saves me money on makeup so very reasonably priced. Use with caution but do persevere, I am 100% happy with it. My initial reaction was slightly rash-y but now my face is smooth as silk with no reaction whatsoever.

Never again!!! – Came as a sample pack from local chemist. Used it for two days. Woke up with a very swollen face, red, itchy and very tight. Eased off during the day. Did not apply again but the next morning woke up with swollen eyes and face worse than previous day and also face was red, blotchy, itchy and very tight. Will definitely not be using any of Dr Lewinn's products. Just glad it was a sample jar and hadn't spent any money on a purchase.

Caution - do not buy this product!! – I don't usually write reviews but I wanted to warn others about the possible reaction you can get from using this cream. I brought the large tub before reading any reviews and as others have described I have also suffered a terrible reaction after using this cream. I've used it x2 days and have thrown it out now after getting a pimply red burning rash. Very frustrating given it had a great rating sticker in store and wasn't cheap!

Alergic reaction – I've never had a reaction to any product before cheap or expensive. Within 2 hours of applying get this product my lower eyelids started burning and swelled, cold compresses couldn't help. In the morning my whole face was swollen. I now have a sore, prickly bumpy rash all over my face, antihistamines are helping but the pain is pretty bad. I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Severe reaction! I would give this cream zero stars if I could – I used this cream ONCE and within 24 hours suffered swelling (especially around my eyes - which were almost swollen shut), burning, redness, and dry flaking skin. 72 hours later the swelling is just beginning to reduce - despite taking high doses of antihistamines and using cold compresses. I wouldn't recommend this cream to my worst enemy.

I have used the cream cleanser, the scrub, day moisturizer, and eye cream serum NO GOOD FOR ME – My skin got hot inflamed ichy dry, puffy, my eye lids puffed out, I definitely got a reaction so had to go to the doctors to get drugs to fix my face. I have photos to upload.
