ABSOLUTE RUBBISH. DON"T BUY THIS PRODUCT Purchased the queen Dreamaker White Premium Polyester Sherpa Fleece 350GSM Heated Electric Under Blanket. We used it twice and then one of the controllers stopped working and flashed P. Called Dreamaker to replace the controller who told me to contact the supplier. to Dreamaker. Absolutely no customer service from Dreamaker. DON"T BUY THIS PRODUCT. They shirk their responsibility.
I bought a Dreamaker queen size electric blanket three years ago. One side has lasted just a season, and the other side stopped working this week. Dreamaker support advised me on how to find out if the defect was in the controller or in the internal wiring of the sheet, but this was not helpful, since they do not sell controllers separately. Really not good enough.
Had it just over a year and one of the cheap and nasty controllers packed up. Show details
Followed instructions, blanket's hottest setting is tepid at best. Disappointed. Will not recommend. Show details
Faulty out of the box – Plugged blanket in and didn't work came up with p fault condition. Looks like they don't warrant their products as the warranty page is blank. Only contact with company is via a bot very sub standard Show details
Last one winter – Had one that lasted a season. Was replaced and again only lasted a season. Really not good enough. Show details
Frustrating experience – Purchased from Temple and Webster and fitted onto the bed as soon as I plugged it in and turned it on the P started flashing if I jiggle the plug in the outlet after about four goes sometimes it turns on there seems to be no rhyme or reason with this I have tried it on different power points it is the same result... Very frustrating as I purchased… Read more
this believing it was a superior product... I have contacted Temple and Webster by email and sent them proof of the flashing P video they said they were busy and will get back to me at some stage...
Waste of money – These blankets are only to be used straight into a power point and not on a power board. I would never have bought it had I known this. As well as that although I had turned it off when I got into bed after about 2 hours I couldn’t sleep as the skin on my legs was having an allergic reaction to it. I had to get up and take it off the bed. All was good then. I would definitely not recommend this product. Show details
Wouldn’t buy again – Bought a queen electric blanket through Amazon. One side has stopped working 8 months later. Very disappointing. Show details
I would not buy it again – We bought two blankets a couple of years ago. One is still working fine. With the second one the controller ps8-90 stopped working. It only shows a blinking "P". Since this blanket was not heating up as good as the other one I thought I replace it with a new blanket (including controller). I bought it at Amazon. It arrived yesterday. So I… Read more
replaced the old blanket with the new one and tried to test whether it would be working. Unfortunately, it came up with the same error message - the blinking "P" - as the one I wanted to replace.
So I contacted the seller on Amazon how to go about it. They told me that it was a Amazon Fulfilled order; so I would have to deal with Amazon. Amazon only offers to send the whole package back. But I would have to pay for the postage - which is a lot. I only wanted a new controller and not a new fleece blanket.
I contacted Dreamaker on Facebook (where I was the only Follower), on Instagram (which only has 6 Followers) and on their website now 3 times. I have not received any response. I also tried to call them (about 30 times). The line is always "busy". So maybe they don't want to receive any calls. I don't know what to make out of it.
I tried to find the controllers anywhere on the Internet to buy. Unfortunately to no avail.
Now I have two totally fine fleece blankets which won't work because of faulty controllers. What a waste of money.
In the future I will only buy an electric blanket where there are replacement controllers available.
Dream maker heated throw 160x120cm lasted a month – Throw seemed nice, good size. Lasted less than 3 months only using once a day, then the error message had popped up saying the cord is faulty. No idea why. I haven’t done anything. I’ve had Aldi throws for less money last 2 years or more. And my good ol Sunbeam throw I’ve had 5 years hasn’t skipped a beat. And I’ve washed those. I would not… Read more
buy again. Waste of money and I cannot contact the company at all. Won’t recommend or buy again. Disappointed.
Lasted only 4 weeks – Worked fine at first and then last week it just stopped working. I changed plugs, checked it thoroughly. It lasted less than a month and for $89 thats a rip off. Show details

Know better, choose better.
Dream maker cotton electric blanket – I bought the one that was made from 100% cotton. Instead of the polyester. This cotton one was absolutely beautiful to the touch and looked superb. I’m happy with it except for maybe one thing. The one I have doesn’t heat up very quickly. Maybe this is a safety feature. Only after about 15 minutes of getting into bed, along with my body heat, it… Read more
starts to get warmer and I turn it down. Overall it’s a great electric blanket with a good price from Kogan. I’m happy with it.
Not great but it does the job – Bought a new Super King Double bed ...but then winter hit and we needed an electric blanket for it. Unfortunately, electric blankets for Super King size beds are not that easy to find. With a limited number of products available (and some very expensive), settled on a Dreamaker Multi-Zone Fleece Top. It was reasonably priced and had a 3 year… Read more
warranty. Four separate heating zones seemed like a bonus as well.
The fitted fleece blanket fitted well onto our bed and felt durable and of satisfactory quality. For the two bed occupants there are two heating zones each ...an upper and a lower body area. Each area has four heat settings with the lower area (feet, legs) indicated by red LED’s and the upper area (torso) using yellow LED’s. There is also a timer which goes from 1hr to 11hrs in 1hr increments. When you turn on the main switch (up/down slider) on the side of the controller, it defaults to the lowest heat setting for the two zones and 8hrs on for the timer. There are three buttons below the indicators with each press incrementing 1 heat setting or 1 hour of time on.
What I didn’t like: The controllers felt like cheap plastic (especially compared to Sunbeam controllers on our spare bedroom bed) and this was reinforced by how the operational lights glowed through the casing and reinforced the thinness of the plastic. Whilst this is most noticeable at night, even in daylight (see second picture below) you can still see a red glow through the plastic around the indicator lights. Because the default settings are never what I wanted (and there appears to be no way to change these), I find each use I need to tap the buttons quite a few times to get maximum heat settings for both zones and reset the timer to one or two hours of use. Incidentally, I find the heat provided (at maximum setting) is till a little underwhelming but this is probably because of the fleece covering and comparison to our Sunbeam blanket (without the fleece) on the spare bed. Also found the slide switch to turn the blanket on was a little difficult to slide ...despite the “ribbing” on it to give your thumb some traction. However, this may loosen up with wear. At night, the controller is lit like a Christmas tree (particularly when using full heat) so you may want to move it around to face the wall if you find the lights concerning. Only other thing I had issue with is the hard plastic connector that joins the controller to the blanket. Found this intruded a little too far into the bed space and I needed to adjust my sleeping position slightly as it was uncomfortable to have any part of my body resting against it when trying to sleep.
What I did like: Three year warranty (which I hope I won’t have to use). Despite the cheap feeling of the controller, it seems to do the job and the blanket does warm. The controller rests beside the bed in an area not liable to receive hard knocks so it probably doesn’t need to be super strong. I’ve realised most of my concerns seem to be based around comparing it to the Sunbeam product on the spare bed. I do need to remember that that blanket was over twice the price of the Dreamaker for a smaller size. So therefore, I’m prepared to overlook any of the shortcomings mentioned for the price ...as long as it remains reliable (and safe!)
Dissapointing – Bought this through Kogan and it didn't work at all. Had a difficult time getting a refund as they wouldn't take responsibility saying I needed to go back to Dreamaker. Not my responsibility if they are the sellers... VERY disappointed in the product and the service. Show details
thought they were good but – Seemed very good at first heat setting was really good but we have now gone through 3 in quick succession always my wife's side fails. 2nd one was only about 5 weeks old , so took our spare from our BnB yesterday about 6 months of limited use and yes only works on one side. model FA29MFDE Show details
Really good for the price – Great item great quality for the price and I feel safe using it. Simple to use and does the job really well. Purchased from big w for fifty dollars very happy Show details
Great system – The electric blanket we bought was a great buy, it has a great function system, the settings are of great importance because you need to be able to set a timer just incase you forget to turn it down or turn it off which happenes very offen that is why we brought this product and also needed another electric blanket and we up graded to this one Show details
wonderful – Very happy with this purchase, the Dreamaker Electric banket has fulfilled all expectation, it fitted the double bed well and the temperature settings are accurate, definitely good value for anyone on a budget. Show details
Great for the price – Great for the price. Works well. Didn't have issues so far .bought it last year. Bought single bed sized.I'll recommend if you're looking for something that's not hard on your pocket. Show details
Dreamaker electric Blanket - ready for cold nights & Winter! – I love the idea of it being fully fitted - no need for ties from one end to the other of the mattress! Much easier to fit. It also works well & keeps me warm on the few cold spells that we have had. I would like the temperature button to be nearer as It's too far away for comfort. A lot of effort is involved when you need a change in… Read more
temperature, especially if you're disabled. Also, the control gets a bit hot for my liking. Other than that, it's very good.
