Not only the product but the service / repair sucks – The product just crossed 15 month and it broke down, i sent it for repair (ticket number K0XM8J79RDE), they charged me about $250, repaired and sent it back. I used it not on the weekend i received but the next weekend and i wasent working. I raised another ticket (Ticket number AGVL5K7Z2E), again they repaired and sent it back. as i received, i just tested in less than 5 minutes of receiving and it was still not working. Its been 3 months already, 2 tickets and sent it back and forth 2 times and not sure how long it is going to go on. I understand that its a piece of technology and can break down but there is a question mark on their repair and service as well if the product is sent back without even testing. So much of time, energy and resources wasted and ofcourse money. Dont waste your money on this product and end up harassing yourself
Breaks down after a few uses – We got the Dreame H11 Max Wet and Dry vacuum gifted to us. It was great for the first few uses, but after 3 months, we got the E3 error and there was no other resolution but to contact customer service. Had it for a few weeks had battery issues what's worse is they don't respond to any emails or calls – I bought a new H11 MAX it had a battery issue error come up, I tried emailing over 6 times with no reply, I managed to get them on the phone with they asked for some videos and serial number which I promptly sent, right after the call I got a reply to my email asking if this issue is resolved now, this is no coincidence, anyway it's been another 2… Read more

Love it! – It literally is a dream to have. I brought it to save time with having to vacuum first, then mop and save time it has done. The only thing I would suggest when buying is to make sure you change the spinning head when your done. Fantastic product, couldn't live without it now – After a lot of research, I opted for the H11 max model. It has been absolutely fantastic, so easy to use and clean after use. It simplifies my day, if it works – It's easy to mop while sweeping. rarely and gently. Now it shows error E1. I contacted customer service but didn’t get any reply. I’m not sure how much the repair is. So, should you consider this? Nope.
P.S: I don’t mind with Chinese products if they provide good quality products and reliable service centers. I own a Chinese car and I’m impressed with the quality of the car and their service center. I don’t have issues in the last 4 years driving it.
— updated May 2025 I sent my unit to the service center in April 2025. In May, they told me that the cost was $200. Since the new one with longer warranty only cost around $400, I refused to pay that much. Considering I paid more than that with shorter warranty. What made me upset was there was no warranty for the service quality. It means that if your appliance broken again in the near future, you need to pay the service again.
Lesson learned in a hard way
— Update Mid-May 2025 I got mine back. I didn’t get any updates in my email about the status of my appliance. They just sent it back. This morning I opened the package, and just for curiosity I tried to turn it on. To my surprise, it works! I tried to mop my kitchen and it just works as new. Now I’m confused. I don’t know who should get the credit, is it the company or anyone there who asked the technician to fix it. Whoever you are, you made my day. You have just eased my day, and I hope that your life will be brighter and easier. I hope it will last longer now

found it to go smoothly (only initially was it good). We emailed through what the issue was, our proof of purchase and video showing what happened. We got a quick response and it was arranged to have the machine sent back and a new one was sent out. Unfortunately the new machine is faulty too. After charging it, the battery only lasted 5 minutes max. I then charged it overnight again and it's still sitting on 1% charge. Obviously there is some issue with the design and function of the battery in the Dreame since it seems to be happening on many machines. It would be a great product if it weren't for all the battery issues. Also this is where the good customer service from them ended. As soon as I mentioned that I wanted a refund the responses took longer and longer. The email chain back and forth is now up to 60 emails. The Dreame customer care team finally agreed to a refund and said they would send a shipment label so I could return the machine. Once they received the machine they would then process the refund. I emailed back a few times asking for the shipment label and no response. Then tonight they sent an email saying they have approved a replacement machine to be sent to me. The whole experience has been incredibly frustrating. Due to this being a major fault and the battery failing in 2 machines now I believe my request for a refund is appropriate. I will now be contacting ACCC to hopefully resolve the matter.

They have not had stock and can not advise when they will have any. $700 mop is now completely useless and their after sales service is woeful. put it on the charger, it would read 100% or 0% (not in between). When it says 100%, I'd try to turn it on but it would go dark as soon as it leaves the dock and won't turn on. I'd then put it back to the charging dock again and the battery would stay at 0% even if I put it charged for a full day.
The customer service has been MIA. Sent them an email with pictures and videos a week ago and haven't heard from them despite the fact their auto response says it'd respond within 1-3 business days. Wished I read the reviews here and know about the battery problem. I really loved the machine and was even contemplating purchasing other products from them until the battery issue came up and now also very disappointed with the service.
UPDATE: Dreame contacted me a day after I posted this review. I mailed back the faulty appliance as per their instructions and received a replacement within 2 weeks. The representative, Alicia was fantastic! she kept me updated with the progress and posted the replacement as soon as they received the returned item, very pleased with the service received from her. Hopefully, I will have no issues with this replacement. H11 Max is amazing - when it's working - really simplified and halved my cleaning time.

Warning: major failure on the battery in our experience after total of 4 units has broken down & each within 3 months – My 2nd one is broken within 2 months and my first one also failed within 3 months. Both are battery issue. Customer service is not helpful and whatever support it needs to be escalated to manager. only support case are keeping your manager busy like this, I believe there is thousands cases a day. In terms of that, I highly not recommend their product to anyone.
Update: My friend who recommended this to us at very beginning and they are suffering the same situation and machine failed on battery twice and still waiting for support at the moment. Avoid them.

Dead After 6 Months – After researching the various units (tineco, kartcher and dreame) and seeing the reviews (and it was quite new to the market at this time) I decided on the dreame h11 max. months the unit battery started to go down very quickly, would last maybe 10 minutes. This lasted about two days and then the unit went into error. E3 error message contact customer service, subsequently the unit will not work anymore. Consequently I contacted customer service (provide proof of error and serial number), operator told me they will work a solution out??? I find it odd they don’t know what e3 error is, it only has four error codes - and seems like (unfortunately) a common error. After a few days no response, I have re-contacted them and still no response. So would seem the dreame h11 max unit has a life span of six months or less, and dreame have zero customer service, zero care or any desire to be responsible for the products they make. Waste of money and time at $799 for six months. Im sure tineco would have been a better product.

Would have rated it better if not for the warranty process - rated terrible for the warranty process – Bought my H11max from Harvey Norman for around $800 in Jan 2022. Loved it initially as it really helped with cleaning and keeping my floors clean. Saved a lot of time as it vacuums and mops at the same time. A few issues that I didn't really like though, ie no edge to edge cleaning (thinking maybe I should have waited as Roborock released one… Read more

Also there are no bumpers on edges and causes it to sometimes smash into corners obstacles as it moves by itself once it is turned on and hence need to be careful and slow to guide it to where you need it to be. Also the mop seems to leave the floor a bit wetter after a few months of usage compared to when I first got it. But I still loved using it everyday to keep my floors clean.
However the charging started causing problems around late Jun 2022. It showed an error E4 when I docked it back to the charging station. I tried turning it off and on and it worked again, however it did not charge to 100%. I contacted Dreame online chat regarding warranty as that was that Harvey Norman told us to do when we first bought it. I sent Dreame pictures of my unit's serial number and error screenshots and it took more than a week for them to get back to me that I needed to go back to my store of purchase ie Harvey Norman. Called Harvey Norman and they told me to bring in the entire unit with photos of error in case the error did not present in store. I returned it to Harvey Norman Maribynong store and the store was pretty insistent on seeing the error on the unit itself despite showing them the photos and email exchange with Dreame. And as it was late on Friday night, they said they had to contact Dreame the following Monday regarding a replacement unit before they can issue me one. Monday came and no phone call came. We called Harvey Norman and they said they are still waiting upon Dreame. Later in the week I contacted Dreame via email and online chat and there were no response. Hence I posted a question here on productreview.com.au a few days ago to see if anyone else had the same warranty issues as I did. Dreame did respond to my question immediately and I did as requested, ie sent an urgent email to them with my invoice and error screenshots (again - as they should already have these on file). It has been 2 days and no response since. I do not know what the purpose of the urgent email was. I just called Harvey Norman today on 23/7/22 (gave them the unit on 15/7/22) and they said they have to wait till Dreame to confirm a credit for them to replace the unit. And that they emailed Dreame but had not response yet. This is obviously an issue between Harvey Norman and Dreame but I do not understand why I need to be caught in the middle when I have paid good money for the product and in less than 6 months, I can't use it and I can't get a replacement after almost a month.
It is a great product but beware of the warranty process especially if you buy it from Harvey Norman.
Update 31/7/22: It has been 1 week since the Dreame team has "assured" me that this will be resolved asap and requested me to remove my review. More than 1 month since the charging error happened and I contacted Dreame, More than 2 weeks since I returned my faulty unit to Harvey Norman and I still do not have the product I paid for to use. For more than a month. There has been ZERO updates sent to my email this past week as well. I do not have any more patience left as I am now very much inclined to request for a refund as I cannot believe how terrible this warranty process is.

There are no attachments to use in tight spaces, I have a Dyson cordless vacuum which has loads of attachments that you can use on carpets. I would have purchased a Dyson had they had a floor cleaner, I also misunderstood that it is not suitable for bathroom showers, or bathroom shower walls as it will only tilt in one direction,.

Slightly disappointed – We have a lot of the Xiaomi Dreame products in our house and have always raves about them, that’s why I wanted to invest in the H11 wet/dry vacuum. clean up. I use it daily to mop up under my sons high chair so yeah, it saves me from having to get down and scrub the floor but you wouldn’t do the whole house with it as you have to move quite slow for it to mop. I think for the price it would do a lot more or atleast have a function that you can vacuum carpet with and then turn to mopping when on tiles. You still need to keep your vacuum cleaner as well so you aren’t reducing your appliances. It does clean well and the gunk that comes out of the dirty water holder is pretty gross but I was hoping for something that I could zip around the house on a daily basis to keep the mopping to a minimum. This doesn’t do that.

no streaks. I can use this every day now and not dread the mopping side of things, since this is a 2-in1. For all those of you who hate mopping as much as I do, this is what you need. After cleaning, it just self cleanses after you dock. Just empty out the dirty cannister. I pour the contents through a little sieve and toss the solids in the bin. It works a treat. I'm so so so happy with it so far. I would love the corded version of this though. If there was one, I'd buy that instead, I don't like how I'm wasting electricity charging it for 5 hours for a 36 min runtime. Yes, it's pricey, but it is such a godsend. I like that it also comes with an extra cleaning brush and an extra roller brush. I do wonder though, what happens when the battery fails after warranty is over.

Handy and useful for any emergency split! – Enjoy using this great self cleaning machine although personally founds it’s slightly too bulky and heavy when is filled with liquid.
