I don't know much about repairing cars, but I chose Driveway Mobile Mechanics because of their previous reviews/they seemed reputable, and I thought they deserved another positive review because the whole process definitely lived up to my expectations! Plus, my car works again - yay!

So on their own back and with out any extra payment Simons team spent 2 days helping us check on the internet for the details and countless phone calls between us about this car, which by this stage was not looking good, after $100 or so the final straw was Simons report that the car WAS to good to be true and we made the decision to not buy it saving my son making a $30 000 mistake.

At one point, a few weeks after my first service I could get the smell of something burning when I drove. I called Simon and we organised a time that was convenient for me. This happened to be on a Saturday afternoon. He test-drove the car then after giving it a thorough looking over he found I'd picked up a plastic bag that had melted it's way onto the muffler. Simon painstakingly scraped each bit of melted plastic off the muffler then gave it a good clean. All he charged me for this one was a handshake. Then he was off to salvage the rest of his Saturday afternoon.

I have passed his details onto my family and they'll be sure to use him next time.
