Dulux Duramax Satin Black Spray Paint

Spatter Paint not Spray Paint – There is something wrong with this product. You shake the living daylights out of the can before use and it spatters. You clean the nozzle in turps and clear all the junk out of it with a needle and blow it out with compressed air and it spatters. You try another can (I bought three) and it spatters. They all spattered. It is spatter paint not spray paint. You try another, cheaper brand (Dy-Mark) and it sprays perfectly to empty with no spatter. The slower drying Duramax primer and clear coat sprayed fine but the project was ruined by the fast drying colour coats. I have used their Epoxy Enamel in the past without these issues but Duramax was just a spattering mess. Very disappointed in Dulux. I wont be fooled again.
Purchased in at Bunnings Warehouse Retail Stores.

Spits & Splatters – Bought a can thinking the I could trust Dulux. I got that wrong. First mistake First application on bar stool bases was fine. Inverted the can and cleared the nozzle and waited 20 minutes before applying a second coat. Started spraying the second coat (second mistake) and it spat and spluttered the paint out and ruined the first (coat) finish. I kept going as I figured I was going to be forced into sanding down the splatter blobs anyway.
A very disappointing product as the can obviously is under-pressurised.
I do not recommend this product. Purchase another brand. Do not waste your money.
