This was a great service. A bit more expensive than going to a shop but worth it for them to come to you. The guy who attended was really nice, professional and worked very fast. I would use this service again if required.
So easy to order online, and with the option to chat to an Operator as well (which I did). Very professional, and they let you know prior to arriving. The job was done so quick and clean, an overall great experience.
Terrific product – These tyres were standard on my car when I purchased the car, so when it was time for new tyres, I purchased the same tyres to replace. I had done 80,000km and there was still good tread but I felt I should put on new boots. I’m certainly not unhappy that I did.
Good highway performance in dry weather. Low noise – Dunlop Grandtrek PT3 tyres - purchased 4 new tyres 265/65/R17 112H in May 2023 for a 2004 Toyota Prado. This review is made after an initial 1282kms of travel towing a small 1-tonne caravan. Dry weather. Highway roads. INTRODUCTION: Dunlop Grandtrek tyres are available in "at" models such as at20, at22, etc, where the 'at' prefix refers to "all… Read more
terrain". These "at" tyres are suitable for use on unsealed and off road situations. The PT3 model, however, is designed to be used 90% of the time on SEALED roads, and a max of 10% on unsealed roads. The "PT" in the model name probably means "paved terrain". TYRE NOISE: this seems to be a function of what the surface of the road is actually made of. Concrete road surfaces on the Hume Highway around Goulburn NSW are very quiet. So too are other road surfaces that have a high bitumen (tar) content, such as newer freeway roads, or recently repaired sections of a road. It's the older road surfaces that have a higher blue metal content that give a bit more noise, but even this is not really intrusive into the car. Overall I was quite impressed with how quiet the tyres were. HANDLING, BRAKING PERFORMANCE: As stated above, the trip being reviewed here involved towing a caravan, so there were no situations where extreme handling and braking needed to be used. All I can say is that for careful driving to the posted speed limits, the tyres performed without any issues arising. WET WEATHER PERFORMANCE: This trip occurred in dry weather only, so I cannot comment on the tyre performance in the wet. I have rated the tyres as 5 stars based purely on the trip undertaken above. A future review on handling, braking, and wet weather performance may result in a lower rating.
Good for cost/mileage, bad for grip – I replaced 4 year old Michelin Primacy SUV with PT3s. They were pretty cheap and after 15,000k treadwear is minimal (hence 3 stars), but wet and dry grip is far inferior to the Michelins and worse than the OEM Kuhmos. I have had more traction control and ABS events in 1 year with the PT3s than I had in the whole life of the Michelins and Kuhmos. I have no confidence in these tyres which is not a nice feeling on long trips. Show details
Highly recommended Dunlop Tyre – I chose the Grandtrek PT3 tyres as Dunlop are a quality brand and will be a great choice for all weather conditions and performance on my SUV. Highly recommended. AAA Show details
GrandTrek PT3A 100,000 Kilometers – Purchased a set of Grandtrek PT3A 275/50R21 tyres for our Lexus 570 4WD Today have called the local dealer to hopefully puchase another set as we just clocked over 100,000 kilometers. Could not fault in the dry or wet, and had awsome low noise during highway driving. Show details
Good tyres – Tyres are good on bitumen and in the wet but have little off road ability in mud. While in Tasmania recently I drove on a very muddy road by keeping the car moving and not doing anything sudden, in 4wd mode. I have noted a few reviewers got low mileage, this concerned me and nearly made me get something else. I therefore thought I should wait… Read more · 1
till I had the miles (or KMs) before expressing an opinion. I have gotten over 80,000km and due to a puncture from a bolt I'm getting a couple of new tyres otherwise I would have gotten 90,000 out of them. Very happy. Suggest those with low miles putting a SUV tyre on a heavy vehicle or doing a lot of gravel roads which can be hard on tyres.
New tyres – Had my tyres fitted today, only got 47000 k out of my Goodyear efficient grips hope to get a lot more out of the pt3 ,s. Most of my trips are on country roads in South Australia , 400+ k every time hope to get at least 60000k out of the pt3,s if not I will not be happy. Show details
Bad tires – I purchased 4 tires for my Mitsubishi Outlander 7 seater 4WD. I had a wheel alignment as well the day they were fitted. Surprisingly when I drove the car it was too heavy to move as if the tires are glued to the street. The engine will rev loud but the response is too little. I never had this experience before with this car or even the Camry which… Read more
has Dunlop SP on it. I went back to Kmart and they re did the wheel alignment but no change. I even changed the car from 2WD to 4WD and still no change. I have no idea what have happened. It all started the day I replaced the tires.
The only positive is that they are quite on the street when driving.
I sent an email to Dunlop asking for the possible reasons but no response.

Great Tyres – It is durable, still looking good after a year of purchasing them. Bought 4 tyres at Beaurepaires and couldn't be more happier. With warranty and free servicing. Good price too. It runs very good and it has a great impact in my car's performance. Beaurepaires is awesome and very convenient to us. Show details · 1
Good Tyre with reasonable price – The Tyre has been travel around 30000km since I change them and the Tyre track still pretty good. Expect to travel another 60000km before changing the Tyre again. By the way, the Tyre is quiet when you travel on the free way so it is a plus to the family with the baby. Show details · 1
Dunlop Grandtrek T3 – The original set of tyres on the Outlander were Toyo tyres. The road noise was considerable with the Toyo. The replacement Dunlop tyres seem to have less road noise, definitely improved road handling, softer ride and maybe improved fuel enconomy. Show details

Terrible in the wet – They are terrible in the wet. In the dry they perform well, but in the wet they don't it like driver on bald tyres. Show details
Best Tyre I have used on my Lexus RX330 225/65/17 – I have used Michelin, Pirelli and These Dunlop Grandtrek PT2 and they are by far the best tyre I have fitted to my Lexus SUV. This is the 2nd Set I am currently on. Its a very quiet tread pattern, nice tread compound, yes its soft but (the softer tread compounds provide a quieter ride and far better grip on wet roads). I would rather have a quiet… Read more
ride and less cabin noise and better grip on the road than have my tyre last over 60,000km.
The last set I got about 45,000km before they needed replacing.
Best of all these tyres in my size are Manufactured in JAPAN where in my opinion they have one of the highest quality standards out of any country manufacturing tyres.
I paid $205 per tyre on sale. But price depends on your size of course.
Anyone that states this tyre is poor wearing obviously didn't buy it for its quality or silent ride or high grip.
People looking for long lasting tyre should look at hard compound rubber and definitely not a tyre made in Japan where grip on smooth roads in their priority.
I hope dunlop keep making these awesome tyres.
Excellent all round tyre – I have a 2011 Subaru Forester and put 4 of these on at the 50k mark. I have now done over 110k and just coming up to the need to replace the front tyres with about 10k left on the rears. Over 60k on these tyres is a very good outcome given that the car is driven quite hard. I have been extremely happy with the handling of these, especially in the… Read more
wet, and they are very quiet on highway (which was an issue with the original equipment ones that came with the new car). Will probably be replacing the tyres with the same type as long as I can get a good deal.
Good value for the price paid – Much better grip than Cooper CS-5 tires I had before. Especially when wet the difference is incredible, I would say it gives 50% more grip! We did some 5000 km of gravel roads with sharp rocks and no puncture so far. Good tire for the price paid : $139 per piece. Show details
Good Tyre but Poor Wearing – Fitted these to my Pajero, 275/60/R18 and got them for a good price from my local JaxQuickfit tyre store. So far they have driven really well with almost no road noise, which is what you'd expect from a 10/90 tyre. With no off-road use they have worn quite evenly, but I do rotate them regularly and maintain the pressure at 42psi. The only issue I… Read more
have with them is that they have been on the Pajero for only 23,000km and they are almost worn to the wear indiccators. I'd be surprised if I get 30,000km out of them, which in my opinion is not enough. The only thing that lessens the blow for me is that I only paid $195 per tyre, which for this size is very reasonable. Quite, good in the wet, price Poor wearing
Tribute/Escape Best tyre for non off road SUV's.10/90 tyre but quiet, soft and preciseForget ATR! – As most Mazda Tribute/Ford Escape owners know these cars have tyre roar and are a stiff ride. All the tyre shops were urging me to buy hard walled all terrains or highway terrains but all side walls were stiff!! Tyres made in Japan!! In 4rby circles these aren't even mentioned as they aren't hard core. We do highway driving going on… Read more · 4
holidays towing a small caravan.Might do a dirt road or beach sand but hate 4wdriving.
Not worth buying a tyre for maybe 100km travel off road on the life of a tyre.
After much research and some cancelled orders of other brands I bought a set from Beaurepaires South Morang. They were fantastic in their service.
Paid $820 fitted with wheel alignment, on special.
Running them on about 33psi will drop to 30 psi as per car manufacturers recommendation.
Instantly the ride is super soft compared to the Bridgestone D687.Noise?What noise. I have just realized my car has a loud engine and considerable driveline noise.
If you have an suv do yourself a favour-if you only do highway with the occasional dirt country road or sand buy these tyres!!
Escape/tribute owners look no more this will transform your car.
Car handles great.
Haven't tried wet weather yet or dirt roads going away on weekend and will update.
UPDATE
Drove in the wet.Floored car around a few corners tyres were magic. No front wheel spin at all.Grip is great in wet and dry.
Car has gone from slight understeer to slight oversteer due to high grip level.Even my wife noticed!!!
Drove to Echuca from Melbourne and yep, tyres great ride and quiet especially in the back seat, minimal rear tyre well roar.
Visited Barmah state forest.Dirt roads no problem.Just ensure no stones get stuck permanently in tread as pattern is not very open.
Tyre has 2 steel and 1 polyester belts in tread so quite good in puncture resistance.Sidewal has 1 polyester belt thus the soft ride.Tyre sits quite upright so sidewall is well protected but remember these are not dedicated off road tyres.Tyre wear rating I think is 360.
I am very happy so far with this tyre as it has performed and matched my expectations-soft ride, good handling, quiet, very safe.
I hope to get at least 45000k then I will be really impressed!!! Soft pleasant ride.Very quiet and great handling. Pricey.Retail prices start at $230.I got these on the current Christmas special sales!
OK Tyre – On a 1999 Subaru Forester these tyres have only lasted 35000km, whereas I normally get at least 45000. They have not worn evenly, which leads me to question the QA process and consistency of manufacturing. They also developed slight bulges in the sidewall, however these were of no consequence. They are a quiet tyre, which has done some off road work, and performed well. Price, quiet running. Poor wear characteristics.
Good – I have these on my 2000 Mits; Challenger now approaching 200k km and on its third set. Had only one flat in this time. Dirt handeling is good though above 110kp/h feel a little loose underfoot. Handle the heat 45+ and cruising 110Kph for extended periods with ease. Not happy in very wet dirt/clay situations. normal tyre pressure 30psi. nice even… Read more
wear. Good tyre for bitumin and more importantly is quiet: Expect around 60k plus Km. Tyre tends to mark the walls after periods of excessive cornering.
