So far so good – Purchased tyres with a buy 3 get one free deal. Price was good, they handle well in the wet and are really quiet, compared to my original factory fitted tyres when purchasing my car. Show details

Great Value – Dunlop Sport has been performing well so far. The traction on surface for hot and cold weather have been good. These are less expensive than what I originally searched for but the value for my money has been great! Show details

SINO Sport In Name Only – It is important to read the manufacturer’s description and ask for more details from the retailer before seeing the name “Sport” and thinking you are getting a sporty tyre. I did that and have performance similar to tractor tyres. My vehicles were specced with SP’s from new (20+ years ago) and they were a very grippy tyre so I confidently had… Read more

them fitted. I couldn’t replace them with the excellent Goodyear Assurance Triple Max tyres and had to take what I thought was a similar tyre. Having a 1250 tare weight car with very decent suspension and grip, I’ve barely had my abs engage, even under heavy braking, now these low grip tyres are activating the ABS frequently due to a lack of grip. The joy of driving my car has gone from fitting these tyres. They made me think about just using public transport since driving was making a two decade long enjoyment of using this type of car a bad experience. The car has lost its precision, stability on corners, braking efficiency and made me not drive with the same level of confidence that I’ve enjoyed across many different road surfaces and conditions. Objectively, “B” traction specs are not as safe as “A” traction tyres and fitting them (B traction) for comfort or extended wear resistance is idiotic and adds to the risk of an accident or loss of control by a significant margin. I can’t wait to replace these wombat tyres. They are “good” tyres but you may want “excellent” tyres when it matters most (and for every day enjoyment). I don’t rate their wet performance at all, terrible, The worst wet and dry braking I’ve ever had on my cars, the barely legal tread on the Goodyears that these replaced destroy these near new tyres for wet grip, control and braking. They don’t feel like they would aqua-plane poorly but then again poor control and grip in the dry is only worse in the wet so maybe aqua planing would be safer even if it’s random. I can’t wait to ditch them, they are a very regretful purchase and I was safer driving on the nearly worn old tyres and should have ordered the better tyres, which were similar in price but unavailable. Sport? That word on these tyres is beyond any stretch of the imagination or marketing embellishments. It would take many more generations and an unusual evolution of language, in very sedate society also lacking any historical references sport and the activities of the past to even refer to these in that context, unless the tyre was used as a hoop or to roll down a hill and chase, the name sport shouldn’t even be applied to these sarcastically. As a “sport” tyre, no, wrong word, just put Tyre on the side or “mid spec tyre”. They are better than tyres showing wires and I can’t fault the lettering on the sidewalls, that is done in good taste. Proof of purchase is available to Products review upon request.

The best tyre Dunlop has! – Tyre Size 205/55/R16 I normally buy performance Yokohama or Bridgestone tyres, but these came standard with my 2011 Toyota Corolla.... and I've been impressed! Done 50,000 kilometres so far on these tyres, with regular rotations... only now do I get some occasional wheel spin at the lights, but otherwise excellent. Wet grip has always been… Read more

good, and in the dry there's no tyre squeal when hard cornering. Really happy with the grip & wear of these!

In the past I have been disappointed with the Dunlop product (Chinese made ones) but I'll be shopping for these Japanese made Dunlop SP Sport 01 when it comes time to replace my current Corolla tyres.

These are the highest-rated Dunlop tyre on productreview.com.au and it's no surprise why...

Good in dry condition but terrible on wet road – I replaced my old continental Tyre with Dunlop sport sp lm703 but I think I should come back to the old brand coz what I’ve noticed on wet weather several times I experienced skidding which I did not noticed on my previous tyre. I got the exact tyre size for my Chrysler 300 but I reckon changing to Dunlop tyres is a mistake choice for me  Show details

Dont last the distance – Great at handling the road in the wet or dry weather but really they are a Terrible tyre only because they don't last long enough, I have only done less than 30,000 and almost no tread left I will never buy Dunlop again and I drive to speed limits responsibly, very disappointed total waste of money in my opinion.  Show details

Crappy tyres – These crappy tyres came with my new Holden Captiva 5 CG model 2013 . It only lasted about 15000km about 2 years . I was stupid enough to purchase another set and they only lasted a couple of years as well . The reason I did this was that 2 different tyre places said that it was an alignment problem with the car. Holden did a series of tests and… Read more

the alignment of the car was fine. I decided to purchase a set of Goodyear Fortera tyres and so far all is going well . I tried my best to maintain the Dunlop tyres by rotating and balancing every 6 months and checking the pressure every 4 weeks however it’s still went pear shape . STAY AWAY from these tyres they are not proper SUV tyres

Great value and perfomance, – Did a fantastic job, came with 2013 corolla hatch back, made 92000km. Never heard any tyres making that good Kms. But when I went to replace them at local store, I asked them for exact one but gave me Dunlop sp sport LM704 saying they do the same job not sure about the performance.  Show details ·  1

Good tyres and good value for money – Got this in replacement of Yokohama tyres in the Subaru, really decent everyday tyres for travelling. The tyres was really highly recommended from the place I got it and the value for money is really worth it. The tyres has thread for everyday use. I recently used it to drive up to the moutains and it was a smooth ride.  Show details ·  1

Good all round tyre in dry and wet weather good grip. The best thing I got over 70 000km out of these tyres. No complain with my purchase – I installed these tyres in my Toyota camry more than 2 years ago. It's still going well so far. No issues so far. I have driven more than 30K so far. It was covered under Beurepairs warranty so replaced one tyre in past due to puncture. No Noise, great grip on wet condition.  Show details ·  1

Safe tyre – This is a very good performance tyre. It offers excellent outright grip, and breaking in both dry- and wet-conditions. Comparing with other premium tyres, such as Pirelli Cinturato, Hankook Optimo K415, Bridgestone and Goodyear, its durability is not as good as others and more expensive than others at the time when I made the purchase.  Show details ·  1

Good quality, feel safe – I have had these tyres for years on a Toyota Corolla. A bit more expensive than others but seem to be more durable. I suggest shopping around. I got them at Kmart Tyre & Auto Service. They have a pricematching policy. No issues with the fitting. The driving experience is great. I am happy with these tyres.  Show details ·  1

Great for city drivers – I got these tyres as a replacement for the ones already on my car when I bought it 2 years ago. Price was great (but that's probably more due to finding a competitive garage as I didn't buy them from Dunlop directly). roads and over painted lines. Several months after purchase they still look pretty new so I guess that makes them durable.

I rarely drive out of the city so can't comment on dusty/muddy/off-road conditions, but for the regular commuter I see nothing wrong with these.

So far so good, I've had these tyres since July 2016 and have only just done a tyre rotation with them. Good Tyre for the price – Got these for my 2007 Corolla Sedan and so far they have been good. Road noise is less (Goodyears that i had before were terrible with that). 23k and they are gone – Had 4 of the SP LM 704’s fitted on our Honda Euro. After 23k they are shot. Have had Dunlop’s and Michelin tyres before and the Dunlop’s are the worse tyres by a long way. We are pretty sedate drivers but have found that the back of the car would move around particularly in the wet and the mileage is terrible.  Show details

77,000km over a period of 6 years – A very high mileage tyre. It lasted me slightly over 77,000km, over a period of 6 years. I am only now due for a replacement. Towards the end of the life, the ride is slightly harsher however it is expected. Otherwise no complaints. Brake is good, handling is good, durability is excellent.  Show details

Great Handling at Competitive Price – Fitted to Falcon Sedan, took dealer recommended tyre pressure at Beaurepaires Midland, and have been great handling and minimal road noise. Very secure when driving on wet roads. Fitted price was very competitive for 4 tyres. Dealer had many other tyres to supply so choice was easy option. Not the cheapest or dearest but most suitable. Safe and secure when driving through heavy rain  Show details

straightened, even though my last tyres were pretty good and evenly worn.

The other reviews are helpful, I wish I read them prior to purchase. Especially where people say the tyres have soft side walls that affect cornering and fuel consumption. I don't do fast corners so I hope they'll be ok.

Haven't had them long enough to say if they would be a 5 star tyre.

High Quality – I have bought a set and it's improved my driving experience and decreased the stopping distance. The tires are the only contact of the car with the road. So, don't just buy a cheap one. But shop around and buy the good quality for relatively cheap. Overall, I'm happy with the quality.  Show details

Dangerous in wet, poor at best in dry conditions – Long milage tyres with very low performance in all conditions. I ended up leaving the bitumen on a sharp downhill corner on the first wet day the tyres saw and ended up in a ditch. I've been driving for 30yrs and was accused of not driving to the conditions. I stress that you purchase these at your own risk. They give little to no warning of their limitations in wet conditions. Not worth the money or name (sport).  Show details
