internal contradiction. The customer service team explicitly warned me in writing that mattress slats with a 14cm gap are too wide, noting that even thicker slats do not fully compensate for wider spacing and will cause premature wear or dipping. However, when I pointed out that their own flagship Slate Base is manufactured with those exact 14cm gaps, the team completely changed their tune and claimed it was "fully certified."

When I followed up with professional, logical questions asking them to clarify this massive engineering discrepancy and provide a written structural guarantee for my mattress warranty, the company chose to completely ghost me. They have refused to respond to multiple emails.

It is deeply disappointing that a premium Australian bedding brand would rather ignore a customer than address a glaring contradiction in their own product designs and warranty guidelines. If you own a heavy mattress, beware of their conflicting structural advice and lack of accountability.

After multiple emails, Dusk & Dawn confirmed in writing on 12 May 2026 that they “will refund you today”. Despite this clear confirmation, many days later no refund had been received and no refund transaction reference or proof of processing was provided.

I have had to repeatedly follow up simply to obtain basic information about a refund that the company itself confirmed would be processed immediately.

Very frustrating experience, poor communication, and an unnecessarily difficult process for a product that was never delivered and never accepted.

firm. I contacted the team and they were quick to respond and offer a comfort change even though it was beyond the 100 days trial. I was impressed. The process for a comfort change is: 1) they pick up my mattress by experts removalists 1/11/24 (white glove service - this is why i went with them in the first place). This happened within 2-3 days - great! They said typically its 10-12 working days. 2) I waited for 3 weeks without response of next steps 3) Emailed a few times, no response so I called then and they said they haven't received the mattress from the courier. I said it was picked up on [x] date and they said they would follow it up. 4) I had to follow approx. 2-3 times per week for two weeks to get an answer. I found out that a comfort change = they take your existing and change it to the desired level of adjustment - they dont send a new one. Wasn't really clear from all the reading i did so beware of this. You will have no mattress to sleep on. I had a spare one in the bedroom. 5) No real escalation was taking place, the call centre is not directly connected/in the same place to the Dusk and Dawn (think they are in Hobart - not melb). The answer kept on being - was i will follow up and someone will call you. No one ever did - i had to call each time. Call centre lady said i had a right to be very upset 6) After many frustrated calls about 6 weeks later - they said the courier kept all these mattresses and didnt deliver back to the warehouse. Mine was high priority and was waiting to be picked up. That was a Tues and they said by Fri if no word, call them back. I did and send an email with no response. 7) I dont know when i will get my mattress back and they have my money. I usually hold AUS companies with high standard and transparency but be aware, i was really let down by Dusk and Dawn as a whole. I have been patient as one can be and will keep contacting them for a resolution. Not aim at any slander but this is a recount of my experience which will hopefully help others.

The various layers of foam in the topper means that our hips and shoulders can sink in, providing soft comfort, whilst the layer of spring coils continues to provides support at the same time. I am a hot sleeper, but my partner is not, yet this mattress works for both of us. We are both heavy people, and this mattress copes perfectly, and has minimal partner disturbance. I am a side sleeper, and my partner is a stomach sleeper, yet we both sleep solidly through the night. Yes, this was an expensive mattress, but we are both sleeping well, and we are taking comfort from the company's 100 night comfort guarantee. I would recommend this mattress.

1 star less for the poor delivery service from Capitol transport group. The 2 delivery guys didn't have a trolley and seemed very inexperienced. Parked their truck on a street far away and dragged the mattress along the street and onto the footpath banging into several parked cars, poles and obstructions. The mattress slipped from their hands on several occasions. Placed the mattress inside the house and didn't have the courtesy to remove the packaging for us. Would recommend this mattress if they changed their delivery team. Otherwise, best to look elsewhere as it's a massive investment and you don't want these delivery guys to damage your mattress.

Love my new mattress – This mattress is firm but not too hard. I sleep on my side and it provides the support I need. medium mattress. The only drawbacks are that it is very heavy to lift when changing the bed linen, and the height means you need to buy ‘super queen’ size sheets. Although not essential, I may eventually purchase a King size doona and doona cover, as it would look better on the bed. A queen size doona doesn’t quite cover both sides of the mattress. However, all this is worth it for a good nights sleep.

Excellent support, firm without feeling hard and still very comfy with no sag so far meanig good value – Went with firm support to prevent sagging at hips. Heaven – After trialling tens of different Mattresses and reading countless reviews, I decided on the Signature from Dusk&Dawn in the Medium Comfy firmness. I have had lower back and neck pain for years due to my profession (Submission Grappling) and they both have eased off significantly since sleeping on this mattress the past month. Great Mattress and Australian made "Dont buy a mattress from Snooze they're all poor quality compared to this" – We've only had this mattress for about 3 weeks so its early observations, was suffering from back pains on the old mattress but after only a couple of nights am now waking with no lower back pains.
