The hype was overrated – As a professional bridal makeup artist, I have use multiple styling tools before and I got to say this was kind of disappointing for the price point. The heat is low so ideal for sensitive skin and hair but I find for a professional finish, the curls don't hold. I end up using my iron curler or hair straightener instead. I really like the idea of the multiple attachments. It does make blow drying easier as there's a built in brush. The firm brush is never used, the hair dryer attachment is great but takes longer for my hair to dry but I guess it's less damage especially when I wash and dry my hair daily. As for the airwrap function I only used it twice over the past 9 months...so is it worth it? Also the attachment wasn't for long hair. I can buy it for another $90+...

Overall, I guess if you want to style your hair and worry about burning yourself on curling tongs it is a good option but for $900+ I don't think so unless if you have money to blow. When it is on sale, it's approximately $697 which makes it a bit more reasonable.

Great hairdryer, good styler, takes time to learn how to use it properly – My husband gave me this multistyler as a Christmas gift last year, he bought a long version since I have long hair. It is a good hairdryer, I should say, not as loud as conventional dryers. Lightweight and I like that with the dryer attachment the airflow goes at a certain spot, not everywhere like with standard hairdryers. Using all other brush/attachments takes time, don’t think that you’ll nail it from the first time. But it’s still a nice result compared to letting hair dry naturally. I like the fact that it isn’t as hot as usual hairdryers and really hope they don’t lie that it’s less damage to hair. The curling barrels are great but without styling products curls don’t really stay (at least for me). And you need to section your hair properly in order to use the barrels otherwise it’s too much hair. It’s still an expensive styler and as they say it doesn’t work on all hair types, but you do need lots of practice and styling products to make it work for you. There are various youtube videos and tutorials to try different methods but don’t give up straight away :) My husband bought it from Qantas store with his qantas points when they had a promo because paying full price is a but of too expensive even for dyson.
