Love my Easy Cook E737 Custom Oven. Best appliance ever bought. Wasn't cheap but it's a quality appliance...bought in 2010 and the fan has only just stopped working in May 2026. Apparently the lid with element can be replaced but it's rather pricey. May opt for a totally new brand at half the cost. Show details
I purchased 2 easy cook ovens, one for myself and one for my mother, Both of these were used for approximately 2–3 hours per week maximum, After 2 years the fans in both ovens failed, I contacted easy cook to enquire about complete replacement lids but received no response, Although they worked well when they were working we expected more than 2… Read more

Best oven ever – Had for at least 12 years. Use far more than the house oven. Love the size, & heats quickly. Greatest purchase. Great for pizza’s, roast, cakes, chips. Plus a lot more. Show details
Our 13 litre oven Mum bought back in the early 1990's – Our 13 litre oven Mum bought back in the early 1990's. It has been a fabulous oven and has been used almost everyday since purchased. A couple of weeks ago I decided to roast a rolled leg of pork. Prepared it as usual and placed in the Easy Cook, approximately 10 mins later the fan stopped working so I had to wait until my big oven heated up and… Read more
continued cooking the pork. To my surprise the crackling was perfect. I thought it would be too costly to try to have the fan fixed so I decided to buy a new oven. BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!! I could only get an 11litre oven, but thought that would be all right. Since getting the new oven I have tried twice to cook a pork roast. I prepared the pork as normal but the crackling was like leather, both times. I had to cook with it at the highest temp, for the whole time or it didn't cook at all. NOT HAPPY at all.
Even trying to do garlic bread was a disaster. What has happened to the great products that were first introduced and made right here??? Now made in China and are crap!
EasyCook 737 – Absolutely loved it, cooks roast meat absolutely perfect and roast pork crackling to perfection but after about 3 years the lid has died which was so disappointing as so expensive to replace. Think that the replacement parts should be more reasonable Wish ours lasted 20 + years like some of the comments from other customers. Show details
RIP - 19 years young – Brilliant machine, used multiple times a week for 19 years. Cooks quick and doesn't heat up the house. Made the house oven redundant. Easily serves a family of 4. Can't be without one so will get another within the week. Easy to keep clean. The next one will have more than a one hour timer. Show details
Had it for years, still going strong – I've had my easy cook for about 20 years. Great machine. I don't use my oven any more because it heats up the house. The easy cook is fast so your not heating up the whole house. I never pre heat, just put it on a about 5 mins extra. I broke the bowl years ago and I contacted easy cook via the Internet and they sent me a new one which arrived very fast. I use it at least 4 times a week. Great with the extension rings. Love it. Love this appliance – Bought my digital EasyCook from Myer 16 years ago and it has not missed a beat. The extension ring has been so handy for larger cuts of meat etc. I can air-fry a few chips on the perforated tray and it cooks fish to perfection. I've also cooked cakes and desserts with no problems. Now I think I'll buy an EasyCook Multi Chef. Show details
18 years vs 4 years – We used our first easycook almost everyday for 18 years. For cooking for up to people, it was very economical and convenient so we thought we'd get replacement unit. I rate the first unit 6 stars but I hesitate to give the second unit more than 3 starts because I haven't used it for even half as long as the first one. When it was working it… Read more
worked as well as the first one but our current easycook 727 is only 4 years old and already it has developed a problem. There is a fluttering noise when we turn it on so I am afraid to use it. When I emailed easycook service the reply was prompt but they said they do not repair units. I guess because it is out of warranty. Does anyone know of any repair service centre between Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria ? Thanks.
Great but our 2nd one has packed up – We have had 2 units, the first lasted almost 2 years before the motor packed up and was disappointed. Our 2nd 737 custom has just blown the motor again after 2 years. Great device when working but would like it to last more than 2 years. I see in your reviews people who have had theirs for more than 20 years, we wish.
Excellent Product – We have had our Easycook for about 6 months now, and we cook almost everything we would normally cook in the oven in the Easycook, probably the exception is biscuits, due to the number of biscuits you can fit in at one time. Our Electricity bill was down quite this time and I think the Easycook has played a part here too. It basically just cooks things more evenly all the time, and things just taste different. Cleaning is so Easy!
Great produce – I have had my easycook for about a month now and it is fabulous. I was a bit skeptical at first but it does everything they said it would and so easy to clean, perfect for one or two people and I would totally recommend it, good price too from the Good Guys
An essential appliance in my kitchen – S.O.S Accidentally blew the plug .Got a splash of water and now favourite cooking appliance out of action after about 20 plus years. So reliable and quick heating. Who is repair agent in Auckland NewZealand.Am a 84 yr widow pensioner and can't afford a new one. Thank you. Elsie Wong Show 2 replies

An amazing product – I have had my EasyCook now for approx. 2 years, bought it from the Good Guys. I just don't know how I managed before, clean, simple, hassle free cooking. Cooks perfectly both in the home & whilst travelling around Australia in our caravan. It is just a "Must Have" for me, my kitchen would not be complete without one.
Love it! – I bought my Easy Cook from Myers back in 1998. I use it all the time and would find it tough without it. It cooks everything beautifully and the taste is incredible - everything from fish to toasted sandwiches. I roast chicken and vegetables as well. If it breaks down, it is quite easy to get a replacement top from Easy Cook. I paid quite a bit for it ($399) as it has the digital lid.
In 20 years never a problem – I have used my 737 easy cook at least twice a week for 20 years very happily with outstanding results cooking everything from baked meals through to meringues. Whatever you cook in an oven try in the easy cook. When one of the knobs broke I rang the manufacturer trying to buy one, they sent me two free of charge. I do not agree with any negative… Read more
comments on this site. Do not buy cheap versions, friends have and learned the hard way, they are not powerful and do not do the job.
Unsafe EasyCook AirGrill – I have had the AirGrill for just over 12 months and right from the start the hydraulic lid has not stayed open when removing food from the oven. After burning myself again a few weeks ago I sent an email to EasyCook and after a few emails was told they would replace the oven. I have noticed on the new oven though there is no EasyCook logo on… Read more
the device or the box. The original did have their logo on the devise in 2 places, so I am wondering if they are trying to distance themselves from this product. I haven't used the oven yet to see if the lid has the same problem as the original. If you are considering an EasyCook oven I would recommend you stay away from the AirGrill.
Also I used AirGrill a couple if times to make chips- this was a complete waste of time it took over an hour to cook fresh cut chips and they cooked unevenly. I did follow the instructions.
Lid is dangerous
Best appliance ever! Best customer service ever! – My husband bought the easycook 737 and living in the tropics it has been a godsend. It cooks beautifully and we used it over two years on an almost daily basis. I was very disappointed when on Christmas day - in the middle of cooking the roast lamb (yes roast lamb in the tropics because easycook doesn't over heat the kitchen) it stopped working.… Read more
On boxing day we rushed out and got a cheaper alternative by another brand and it just wasn't anywhere near as good as the easycook and I was really disappointed. So I contacted customer support at easycook this week to see if anything could be done to fix my easycook and they were amazing! The best customer support I have ever received from a company which these days counts for a lot! They offered suggestions, reassured me several times that they look after their customers and they are sending me replacement parts. The cord had never fitted well and I wish now I had contacted easycook immediately. If you have any problem with your easycook I recommend contacting the company.
The easycook cooks beautifully, the temperature control and timer are accurate, it is fairly easy to clean (and I recommend cleaning it according to the instructions which we didn't do) it is easy to get baking dishes to fit. This truly is the best appliance we have ever bought. We rarely use our oven and in the really hot weather I am going to use it outside as Donna at easycook suggested. The great customer service and perfect cooking
love it – I have had my 737 for 8/9 years, it can be stored in a kitchen cupboard when not in use so is space saving and also is so easy to clean, unlike conventional ovens. Had one previously for a few weeks and the fan stopped, replaced with this one which hasn't missed a beat, oven has always been in regular use. everything needs an extension ring, but I don't want nor can afford rest of package Show 2 replies
EASY EASYCOOK – I have owned my E737 for 10 years now, and it hasn't missed a beat, I never use my wall oven as the EasyCook is so easy to clean and I am guaranteed a perfect result everytime I cook. Friends have bought the inferior imitation ovens and have been sadly disappointed with the results. I also recently purchased the new MultiChef, which is a… Read more · 1
brilliant unit. I cook casseroles, rice, cakes and I also bake my fish and chicken in it. Easy to Clean, cooks to perfection, transportable, low wattage, and reduction of electricity bills nothing at all
Easy Cook's customer service leaves much to be desired – In less than twelve months I have had three Easy Cook products which have failed miserably. In December 2012 I was delighted when I won an Easy Cook oven through a promotion the company was running through the WA Potato Marketing Board. When I received my prize there was a problem with the hinged hydraulic lid not working (clearly this… Read more
was a huge safety issue). Easy Cook replaced the unit with an Easy Cook Air Grill - also with a hinged hydraulic lid. At the time I was told by their agent in Perth there were known problems with some of the ovens.
Initially the hydraulics worked on the second unit, but failed a few months later.
I have just received a third replacement unit, which was given to me in extremely bad grace. The Australian Manager [name removed] needs to go back to public relations charm school. The emails were appalling and not what one would expect from a company with any integrity whatsoever.
At the time of the second unit failing, I requested it be replaced with a model which did not have a hydraulic lid, as it was a real safety concern due to any malfunction occurring, the user could sustain extreme burns on the arms when lifting food out of the cooker.
My request was ignored, and I have just unpacked the third unit I have received from this company in less than twelve months.
I have tested this unit, straight out of the box, and surprise, surprise. The hydraulic lid drops down! Clearly they are off-loading inferior, unsafe products and in my view this company is one with whom I would never, ever deal again.
I have read other reviews related to safety issues with these products and believe anyone contemplating buying one of this company's products would be well advised to look elsewhere for a similar item supplied by a reputable company, unlike Easy Cook which in my experience does not meet this criteria..
Basically the two units they have given me, due to safety considerations, are tip material only.
Buyer beware!
Unsafe, unreliable features which contravene one of the essential criteria required by consumer affairs legislation - that creates an unsafe situation

Fantasic-this is my second in 25years – I first bought a Easy Cook Turbo oven 25 years ago, when they first came out and couldn't buy them in the stores. chicken Yummy! with nice crisp skin. Just the thing for caravanning or for a couple living by themselves after the kids have left home, or a person living alone as they don't have to turn on the big oven to cook a roast dinner; it cooks everything, roast and veggies together. It's simplicity and easy cooking.

easy cook custom 737 – brought on the 24/5/12 great cooker easy quick for house of 2 people dislike that we have had lid replaced twice now was quick replacement both times fan got noisey and stopped working if this happens again hope to get full refund glad I paid or extended cover option hope the second lid lasts more than 7 cooks easy to use have had the lid replaced 2 times now fan got noisey and then stopped working we only use about twice a month
Glass Bowl – I have had my 737 for 3 years and have only used it spasmodically. Started using it more frequently since diagnosed Type 2 Diabetic. However, when cooking a cake today (followed the Manual faithfully) 10 mins into the cooking on Bake Cycle the bowl exploded! Am now only going to use the metal bowl I purchased along with a few other accessories. Bowl exploded
Not into kitchen appliances but love the EasyCook. However, same as above, tonight the bowl exploded when cooking pizza.
Just Love It – Looking for a healthier option someone (mum) suggested the Easycook 737, We bought one and now cook everything in it, we must use it at least 4 nights out of every seven. We have and can cook absolutely everything in it, the favourite for the kids is the individual pizzas, what a treat. Quick cooking, can cook almost anything and healthy as well. Cheaper to run than the big stand alone oven. Show 3 replies
Love this, things just taste better! – I bought this after a lot of deliberation, my in-laws have had one for years and always do a great roast. After thoroughly reading their product manual I decided to get one. Roast meats and roast potatoes are great, I love not having to clean the large oven any more and so do more roast dinners now! Frozen chips are so crispy now, much better than… Read more · 1
conventional oven baking, I do not deep fry so it's fantastic to dry fry. My son loves the meat pies done in this. It is great to do, for example a schnitzel on one rack and the veg or chips on the other, if you get your timing right a whole dinner is cooked together in one dish! I have not tried baking a cake in it but everything I have tried has been successful, if you want juicier, healthier meats and crisp well cooked veg you need this! The simple design and ease of use, plus the great tasting food of course, I tell everyone about it! Only can do 1 hour then you need to turn the timer dial again. I did a 3.5kg roast and needed to make sure each hour that it did not go off.
Excellent – I purchased the 747 electronic model it has a 3 speed fan which is good if food is browning too much. I bake all types of cakes with excellent results, if using a ring tin with a hole right through, so the air can flow through the tin. Cakes cook a lot faster and brown beautifully. Good for cooking roasts, meatloaf, rissoles etc. I also purchased… Read more
an extender to raise height so more levels of food can be cooked at the same time.Good for toasting sandwiches, hamburger buns etc. The product came with a perforated tray which I use for smaller items. This oven is so easy to clean, and the kitchen doesn't get the greasy fatty fumes as with a conventional oven. Very happy with this oven. clean fast healthy cooking uses less electricity
Good as an extra oven, but it has some downsides – We bought the EasyCook 737 when we were waiting (some weeks) for our wall oven to be repaired. I was very pleased to have the EasyCook in those weeks. I used it to cook whole roast chicken, potato wedges, pizzas, chicken drumsticks, cakes, fish, and it performed well. The roast chicken was quicker to cook than in a wall oven and the wedges and… Read more · 1
pizzas had a nice crunch to them. The defrost function was also effective.
The self-clean function was very handy - putting hot water and detergent in the glass bowl and having the motor blow it about - although it obviously won't remove anything that's stuck on. I understand it's much more energy-efficient than a wall oven too.
My parents have a cheaper version of this benchtop oven (different brand) and it doesn't cook quite as well and it has a very bright light visible through its lid. The EasyCook didn't have this problem.
I've heard people say that they've stopped using their wall oven and just use the EasyCook. I wouldn't be able to do that for these reasons:
* It will cook cakes, but only in a ring tin, or a small loaf tin (to allow the air to circulate), and I found them a little dryer than in a wall oven.
* If you're cooking potato wedges for a family, for example, you need to use the 3 racks (one above the other) to hold them and I found it fiddly filling the racks and taking them in and out. Same with cooking drumsticks for a family.
* The lid is very hot and has delicate under parts so you can't just sit it straight down anywhere. That makes it a bit awkward when you take the lid off to switch racks around and turn things over etc, because the lid is fairly heavy. There is a superior model, the EasyCook 757 (I think) that has a hinged lid to get around this, and I think there's a lid holder you can buy as an extra.
* With kids around, I wouldn't leave a glass oven alone on the bench.
* I couldn't fit a whole roast and veges for the family in it - but I think you can get an extender to make it bigger.
* The glass base is easy to clean, but the lid is trickier to clean because it incorporates the electrical parts.
The timer on mine also played up - stopped working if it got down to about 5 minutes, so I needed to wind it round again.
Overall, I'm happy to have the EasyCook. It means that I always have a back-up oven if anything happens to the wall oven and I can see how it would be handy for camping too. I still use it if I'm cooking two roasts at once or if I need to do a chicken particularly quickly, but it will remain an "extra" oven. Fast cooking for roasts, saves electricity, cooks chips and crunchy things well, useful defrost, some self-cleaning, good to have a second oven. Shifting racks around is fiddly, lid heavy and awkward and hot, lid tricky to clean, timer played up.
Excellent – I LOVE this oven! I bought it on a recommendation from a friend who said she could make better BBQ chickens than bought ones with it. I haven't made a whole chicken yet but I cooked a rolled chicken roast (it only took 45 mins instead of 1hr 25) and it was the juiciest roast I have ever had. It was still juicy when I reaheated the leftovers the… Read more · 1
next day. I have made chicken wings (25 mins instead of 50 mins) and sausage rolls. It is great not to mess up my normal oven too. This oven has a cleaning function, you put some warm water and a squeeze of dishwashing liquid and turn it on for 10 mins and afterwards even baked on marinade just wipes off. There are cheaper ones out there but I got mind for $280 and you can feel the quality in the weight of the bowl. I love this oven, it is the best gadget I have bought in a long time. Cooks food more quickly than conventional oven. No extra oil required and comes with racks so all fat drips out of food, but the food stays juicy! LOVE the self cleaning function. Not really a con, but I baked a fruit cake in it and it didn't go brown on top like the conventional oven. Works better with ring tins.
Perfect Kitchen Addition – The easy cook is a new addition to my kitchen but to date I love what you are able to do in such a compact oven. fan forced oven therefore even, quicker cooking, food is very tasty cooked this method, supposed to be very energy efficient but it is too earlier for me to tell. Be aware that not all the accessories that you think would be standard come with the machine. Especially the little stand to put the lid on whilst hot.
Excellent – I really do enjoy using this oven. I borrowed my mums first to test it out as she was always raving about it. vegetables beautifully - soft on inside and crispy on outside. My kids are always asking for roast potatoes. It cleans up really easy too. I've checked out cheaper products in the shops and this is far superior in quality. I use this oven a couple times during the week and just love it. Compact unit with nothing protuding. Cooks food really fast. Easy to clean. nothing so far and I've had this since Christmas.
Good – I am very happy with this cooker. I it is easy to use and to clean. I like its portability as it can be used outside and when camping. Fat drains off the meat well It does not cook a large leg of lamb evenly though. Perhaps it is difficult for the cooker to maintain a even heat cooks most things well, it is easy to clean and is very portable. I like that you can see things cooking thru the glass none- it is very versatie
Excellent product - cant fault it – We got one in 2005 as a wedding present from my dad (who is big fan and has two, one of which goes yearly to the Northern Territory on fishing trips) and have used it at least 3 times a week and cooked a variety of foods in it. It is looking worn-out but runs like a champion despite the flogging its had. We bought one for our in-laws, brother in… Read more
law and one for the god parents. You just cant beat it for cooking veges, roasts, pizza basically anything you can fit in it. It uses much less power than out oven as well. The stainless steel racks have been worn out and are now a little rusty so I just bought another set which was $50, but I probably havent been that kind to them, causing this situation. Last year we had three going at once for christmas, one each for turkey, pork and beef. All turned out very nicely. Would recommend to anyone. Everything - especially the portability at christmas when cooking for big events. Nothing, no adverse comments.
