Ecogrow African Black Beetle

Not recommended - extremely short life and deteriorates – I found this natural method developed by the CSIRO and hence trusted it. The nematodes are sprayed onto the lawn and enter the grubs, kill them and then live and multiply within the grub for 10 days (then seeking out more grubs). BUT, the nematodes from Ecogrow only live for 7 days (other suppliers' nematodes are packaged differently and last a few months).

Why does that matter? It matters because you have to apply Ecogrow nematodes to the lawn when the lawn temperature is above 15 degrees. Unfortunately the wether was too cold for a week and I wasted my $99 nematode purchase.

Hence be warned. Find a different supplier who's nematodes last longer, or be really sure of the weather so you do not lose your money.
