I could not recommend this product enough. Earlier this year I moved countries and, as part of that, I purchased a second hand bed. Within days I was covered in hundreds of bites. Dust mite quilt encasement.
I purchased this for my daughter and I am very unhappy and have wasted my money.
This product always get tangled when she is sleeping and the inside quilt is often scrunched at the bottom of the quilt. The dust mite encasement makes it very hard to make the bed everyday as it doesn’t have any clips to attach to the quilt to flatten out the duvet. I cannot use this product.

No more bed bugs
August 2021 was when I first saw a small bug crawling on my daughters bed. We had noticed she was getting bitten by something but I assumed they were mosquito bites. What was this bug? I googled it and it was a bed bug. I only saw the one and killed it, thought that would be the end of my daughters problem. Boy was I wrong. I learnt where they usually live and I was obsessed with checking her bed and the surrounding areas every morning. She was the only one being bitten. I ended up chucking out her bed. I thought that was the solution. Just get rid of the bed. Saw nothing for about a month. But then my other daughter who also gets eczema started having these strange bites on her. I wasn't sure if it was an eczema flare up or were they bed bug bites. I searched her bed and oh my goodness, there was a whole nest of them on her base.They had moved onto her bed. I had found something on line to try and get rid of the bed bug problem myself. It was a kit with a steamer, a powder, a spray. So I chucked out my other daughters bed and searched her room for any more bugs. I treated the kids room using the products I had purchased on line. But 2 weeks later I found more bugs. This time in my daughters sewing machine which sits under her desk. I was feeling very stressed from learning more about these bugs and watching You Tube videos I realised how much of a problem this really is. It seems impossible to get rid of these damn bugs. I ended up calling a pest controller who could come the next day. I prepared the house for him. He needed me to empty out anything on the floors in the wardrobes, strip the beds (which was only our bed because I had chucked out the kids beds and had them sleeping on an air bed). I bought plastic tubs to put the kids clothes in because I was learning alot more about bed bugs where they like to live and their life cycle also tips on how to store things, clear all clutter etc, unfortunately i also learnt that it was a mistake to get rid of the kids beds because it only makes the bugs find another place to call home. Pest controller came and did the 1st treatment. He was scheduled to return for a second treatment in a couple of weeks. But I had found a bed bug on my bed and I was absolutely devastated that they had found there way to my room and that the "professional" treatment hadn't worked. I was told if the bugs walk on the treatment they will die. Well- obviously not! I cancelled his 2nd visit because i was also using the kit i had purchased on line which I showed the guy and it was similar to the product they use so I continued trying to treat our house myself. I was also hot washing all bed linen often. It was going on to 3 months now of battling this bed bug problem. It was very stressful. One night during my nightly routine of researching the internet all things bed bugs, I stumbled across the "Bed Bug Barrier" website. I read some reviews and it sounded so easy. Too easy actually but it also made sense. The next day I called "Bed Bug Barrier" and the lady had Sean call me back. He could sense how stressed I was and was very patient, calm and understanding. He answered all my questions. He sounded very confident that I will successfully get rid of all the bed bugs. What did I have to lose? I have an ensemble bed. So I bought the Powder, The Duster, the Screw In Bed Bug Barrier for the bed legs, and the protector covers for the bed. November 22nd I treated the house. With Bed Bug Barrier Killer Powder you only need to treat your bed because we are the food source for the Bed Bugs and they come to us to feed and when they touch the powder it kills them. But I went crazy with the Powder. Not only did I treat our bed but I also did the edges of all rooms, I did the couch (even though I never found any bugs in the lounge but the kids had moved their airbeds to the lounge room and I was paranoid the bugs would make their way downstairs to them in the lounge). I did the edges of the stairs. I moved our bed away from the wall and kept our blankets and pillows from touching the floor. 3 days later I saw an adult female bed bug half dead walking along the bathroom floor which is next to our bedroom. I also found 2 half dead bugs under our bed. The next few days I would see random dying ones or ones that were dead. The kids new beds finally arrived and I bought all the coverings for their beds and put the powder on their bed legs as well and put them back in their room. Today is the 23rd January 2022 and the last time I saw a Bed Bug was on the 6th December 2021. I still keep all our beds away from the wall. I have left the powder along the edges of the walls and obviously the beds will always have the treatment on the bed legs. The powder will work forever if you just leave it there. But I can finally sleep peacefully. I no longer spend hours researching on line about Bed Bugs. I no longer obsessively check the floor, the beds, skirting boards, cracks with my phone torch looking for Bed Bugs every morning or during the night. Everytime i spoke to Sean i always felt reassured that i will have success in killing all the bed bugs. Hearing him speak so confidently and understanding these annoying Bed Bugs, you can tell he has years of experience. I stayed in touch with him through texting or phone calls. I would send him photos of what I had done to make sure I did everything correctly. I felt comfortable to ask him even the smallest random question. He always assured me to call or text him whenever I needed to, no matter how silly my question may be. I can not express enough how truely thankful I am to Sean & that I found this company and their products. It really is very simple and it makes sense but most importantly, IT WORKS! I also purchased the travel mat because during the Christmas & New Year break we went to QLD (unbelievably we made it up there during the chaos of trying to get a covid test and the results back within 72hrs ) and stayed with my sister. I hadn't seen any bugs in my house by then but I wanted to be safe and kept our suitcases on the mat during our stay for peace of mind. Thank you bed bug barriers
We have treated our bedroom, baby's crib, kids bedroom just once and our couch we treated twice and have not been bitten once since applying the products. It was an effort but worth it. Thank you so much bed bug barriers. It feels so good to be able to sleep at night and also see our kids sleeping without constantly waking up to scratch.

Great products to prevent a re-infestation of bed bugs

Waterproof Dog Bed Cover
The Waterproof dog bed cover arrived today and the quality and fit of the cover exceeded my expectations. My beautiful Boxer Coopa has an extra large cushion bed and the 100x100x15cm cover is the perfect size and completely encloses the cushion in case of accidents. There cover is soft and there is no noisey plastic sound when he moves. I highly recommend this product and am considering buying a 2nd one to have a spare on hand.

Sleeping peacefully again thanks to Bed Bug Barrier
Found we were being bitten at night after returning from a holiday overseas. Discovered a couple of bed bugs in our bedding. I tried a bed bud aerosol spray but still getting eaten at nights. We consider ourselves clean people, but after travelling we must have brought bed bugs back with us. I was getting a couple of bites not knowing what it was from, soon realising it was bed bugs. I was getting eaten alive. We tried a chemical based spray from the hardware store which worked for a week or so but they came back fast (plus I did not like breathing in the chemicals). This is a fantastic product. No more bed bug anxiety or bites!
I bought the Bed Bug Barrier mattress cover when we were battling our second outbreak of beg bugs. It took us months to get rid of them the first time - my skin was was in a terrible state due to the continuous itching and it got to the point where my parter and I considered leaving the property. We ended up having to get experts in a few times to eradicate them which was very costly. I also didn't like the strong chemical products they used especially as we have a cat. Questions & Answers
How long did you have before you tried the Bed Bug Barrier remedies? We first found our infestation in the bed and in the curtains next to the bed, in March 2018. It is now Jan 2019 and we have had periods of no bed bugs then they recur. This was just using sprays, vigilance and mattress and base encasement. We cannot find any nests or evidence now but have still seen really big ones on the bed, just casually strolling along! We are really looking forward now to zero bed bugs as we have put the barrier powder as a border around our bedroom and are getting the tape to put on the bed legs. Fingers crossed!! They are the most upsetting pest to have!
Hi Julie, I tried this product after realising normal bug sprays from the shop weren’t working. This product after two months of use solved the issue
wow it takes a bit to rile people .most pest control who spray heavy sprays toxic dont want to know anything natural just like pharmacys drug companys .however im still troubled even after following instructions 12th month last year ..the q will this product completely exterminate .and break the cycle .i brought the whole lot matress encasment .hand steamer .earth clay and bed traps under .i had already tried all the sprays oils vinegar .it forced them out of my unit to the next sideby unit .i used the powder applicator the top blew off and i inhaled the powder .i ended up in hospital with breathing problems .yes i was careful .the top of the push in aplicator came off .its advertised as safe to use not neccesary .wouldnt that make you feel unhealty breathing problems .i guess having a mask is the answer ..if you make a mistake you suffer can i blame people or can i sue.i guess some would .tony can u answer .if this product is dangerous .can u reasure its not goin to cause lung problems
Hi Dan. Sorry for the late reply, I just saw your review. The powder is non-toxic and its made from exactly the same thing that sand is made from. So breathing it in once will not cause lung problems. Regards Tony
how do u stop bed bugs completetly julie even said she still gets big bugs crawling casually .that means the product hasnt worked hense bugs still lay eggs still .does that make senst tony
Hi Dan. Most pest control companies charge around $1000 per room/treatment so I'm not sure why you thought only spending $70 would be 100% successful. If you read our product page it says to use with our other products which you didnt. If you would like the treatment to be successful please watch our videos and follow our instruction.
