Excellent Vacuuming Performance, but Mopping and Obstacle Avoidance Need Improvement. The ECOVACS DEEBOT T50 MAX PRO OMNI is an impressive robot vacuum and mop that offers a great combination of powerful cleaning, smart features and automated maintenance. Overall, it does a very good job of keeping the floors clean and significantly reduces the amount of manual cleaning required.
The vacuuming performance is one of its biggest strengths. It picks up everyday dust, dirt and debris effectively, while the anti-tangle technology is a welcome feature for reducing hair buildup around the brush. Its intelligent navigation and mapping also help it clean the home systematically rather than moving around randomly.
The all-in-one OMNI station is another major advantage. Automatic dust collection, mop washing, drying and water management make routine maintenance much more convenient. The extendable side brush and edge-cleaning features are also useful for reaching areas that many conventional robot vacuums struggle with.
However, there are two areas where I believe this robot could be better.
Firstly, the mopping performance is disappointing when it comes to dried-on stains. It handles everyday surface cleaning reasonably well, but stubborn, dried-out marks can remain on the floor and may require additional manual scrubbing. Considering the premium positioning of this model and its advanced mopping technology, I expected better results on these tougher stains.
Secondly, the obstacle avoidance is good but not perfect. It can navigate around many household objects, but it does not always reliably avoid smaller obstacles, particularly cables and wires. This means the floor still needs to be checked and loose cables moved out of the way before running a cleaning cycle. Better detection of these obstacles would make the experience much more hands-free.
Despite these shortcomings, the DEEBOT T50 MAX PRO OMNI remains a capable and convenient cleaning machine. Its strong vacuuming, automated maintenance and useful smart features make it a worthwhile option for regular household cleaning.
Overall, I am happy with its general cleaning performance, but the mopping of dried stains and the reliability of cable avoidance prevent it from being a five-star product.
Verdict: 4 out of 5 stars. A powerful and feature-packed robot vacuum that does most things very well, but still has room for improvement in stubborn-stain removal and obstacle detection.

Bought 7 months ago, and the robot wouldn't go back properly to station, after few calls to support team they advised to send it back for repair. Took 1 week for them to get it, 15 days in repair, and another week fort tone sent back and the robot still doesn't function properly. different issues now . so I called again the support number and asked for a full refund or a new device, and they offered a refurbished one which I refused after my last experience with my own repaired one. that was on a Monday , the girl said they will get back to me within 1 or 2 days and 5 days later still no response. I called again and no response to provide, no manager to talk to , impossible to be transferred to the resolution team. very poor customer service and I would not recommend this brand or model.

Our Ecovac is a AU$1700 unusable piece of ewaste. No help from customer service other than a replacement velcro for the mop pad (which lasts about 1 week). Dust bins are poorly designed and dont self empty. Solution from Ecovac is just to not use the mop or self empty features. Or to only vac 1 room a day. Issues: 1 - Dust bins dont auto empty 2 - Mop Pad velco wears after weeks, need to replace whole head not just mop 3 - Leaks water 4 - AI object detection next to useless 5 - Worst customer service from any company in the last 10 years!
Follow-up · In response to the above, we clean the unit after - every run! It doesn't self empty at all. We have since replaced with a Mova that has a much better build quality, is quieter, self empties reliably and has better object recognition. The ecovacs had worse object recognition than our 10 year old Xiaomi, despite having 'AI Intelligence '

We have two big dogs who shed constantly. One’s a black lab with thick fur and the other’s a long-haired border collie with a double coat, so I was keen to see how the DEEBOT T50 MAX PRO OMNI handled both coarse topcoat hair and fine undercoat fluff. They leave dust bunnies in every corner and their hair gets matted into the carpet and the whole house needs thorough vaccuming daily. Not having to do this anymore is a huge time saver! The suction on the DEEBOT is impressive because of its BLAST technology, especially for lifting dog hair from rugs and our old low-pile carpet. We’ve also got lots of vintage furniture, curved chair legs and we’re always adding and removing things from our collection, and the robot’s TruEdge 2.0 and 3D edge sensors let it manoeuvre around everything gently and precisely. Nothing gets knocked over, nothing bumped. I’ve also got waist-length hair myself and was surprised that the ZeroTangle 2.0 brush didn’t clog, even after a few runs. It navigates the raised lips between doorways in our older home with ease and even fits under the bed which otherwise, I’ll admit, wouldn’t be getting cleaned. Being able to have it vacuum and mop - even at the same time, is life changing -especially with muddy paw prints and sand coming home from the beach. It's taken a real load off our daily cleaning.

This is an amazing product and a great investment for every home! Not only does it look amazing and its exterior matches the aesthetic of my home, but it delivers on what is advertised. The suction is incredibly strong and its design deals extremely well with pet hair. Its easy to operate, the sensors work seamlessly and the ease of phone connectivity is am amazing plus! It has taken away from my everyday floor cleaning as many pet owners would know is a lot of work.
