It cleans, vaccumes, mops well, lifts mop pads before vaccumes carpet (Not sure it vaccumes as good as my S6 but still does a good job, gets to some edges, but misses some (not sure if this a mapping problem) also see "unmopped bits" a gap between… Read more

the 2 mop pads. Love coming home to a clean floor with clear vaccume marks in the carpet pile, makes my day.

Follow-up  · This model seems to miss a lot of bits on the hard floor and I find balls of dust on the carpets, it also got tangled in a rug and it ruined the brush, I had to purchase a new brush (the S6 I would untangle and the brush would be fine, and the house would be spotless). The mopping is not as good as I though it would be, overall, I find this model average.

It took me a long time to consider that this would be a useful cleaning tool in my house ... what did I know? It is without doubt the best .... cleans and mops tiled floors, vacuums, spot cleans etc. If you like you can tell it to do 2 cleans of a particular room. It is easy to set up, very user friendly. Don't hesitate to buy this, you're unlikely to have buyer's remorse. Show details

Very impressed, is relatively easy to set up. The app is a little cumbersome but once you understand it, can sort and multiple stack rooms to vac or mop etc. As others have said if you choose vac and mop for some weird reason it mops first… Read more

(frustrating) so set up two separate tasks for rooms then multiple stack to overcome (but should not have to). Cleans and vacs well. Overall quite pleased with our purchase.

Follow-up  · Follow up review: after nearly 6 weeks, yes dustbin emptied automatically, noise when vacuuming is very low hardly know it’s on, we have a large home with carpet & large tile area the battery lasting is not a problem, vacuums 6 rooms of carpet and 5 large tile areas with no recharge - very impressive.

I just wanted to take a moment to share some positive feedback about our new Roborock vacuum — because honestly, it’s been incredible. What’s surprised me most is how much time it’s given back to us as a family. Instead of constantly thinking about floors, vacuuming, or mopping, it’s just… handled. That alone makes it a huge asset in our home. … Read more

The performance has been outstanding. It’s powerful yet impressively quiet, which means it can run without disrupting daily life — something I didn’t realise would matter as much as it does. Setup was straightforward and stress-free, and within no time it was mapping and cleaning with confidence.

And the app — wow. It’s intuitive, polished, and genuinely enjoyable to use. The level of control, visibility, and automation makes the whole experience feel smart rather than fiddly.

It’s rare these days to buy a product that genuinely exceeds expectations, but this one absolutely has. It feels thoughtfully designed, well engineered, and truly useful — not just another gadget.

Thanks for creating something that makes everyday life a little easier. It’s made a real difference in our home.

Disappointed – I am quite disappointed with this new version. I have been using Roborock vacuum bots for a few years now, and this version called my attention (I made a pre order). The issue is the new duo roller system. It collects my pet hair, transforms into a ball pf hair and dust, but instead of vacuum it leaves on the floor. That means, my house is now… Read more

full of small balls of dust and hair :(

It seems we can replace the duo roller system, But there is no available to sell. Until there, I do not recommend this version if you have pets

Edit: 2025-02-09 added picture of the ball of dust (I added a key only for scale?

We were very hopeful when we bought our Roborock, as everyone kept saying that these products are better quality than their Ecovacs counterparts. It was pretty disappointing to realise that our experience with Roborock was going to be even worse than the one we have with Ecovacs two years ago. Considering the price, we are surprised that the… Read more

machine has yet to successfully map our space, which means it is impossible to create a schedule for cleaning AND the only option is to Map and Clean every time.

The robot seems to struggle understanding the space around it, moving in a slow, zig zag fashion when there are no obstacles in sight. Finally, by the time it's gone around the whole room, it will lose track of where it is and never find its home again, eventually putting itself to sleep in the middle of the room.

We haven't tested the mopping feature, so can't comment on that.

Our interactions on the phone with the Support team have also been pretty underwhelming. Finally, we have been advised to send a video and initiate a replacement request. There has been no response from the support team via email. We are hoping it's just a faulty unit and we can get a replacement that actually does its job, but at this stage we are not so hopeful...

We put off buying a robot vacuum for ages, and then picking one was a nightmare. I'd definitely recommend reading a lot of reviews because different lifestyles, different vacuums. To give you some sort of idea of the cleaning load, we live on a… Read more

rural property and the dogs come and go as they please. We settled on a Qrevo Edge, our expectations were for it to do a good enough job and then to do a full clean once a week.

This vacuum is absolutely amazing, the floors are spotless when it's finished. A full clean takes between one and a half and two hours depending on how many times it has to return to base to clean itself. It's quiet when cleaning but if you intend to run it at night put the base station somewhere out of the way because that's much noisier when it empties the cleaner and washes the mop.

For people on Starlink, it works fine with the default combined 5ghz/2.4ghz network, there's no need to establish a seperate 2.4ghz network as I've seen suggested.

Follow-up  · As a follow up, after using for a few weeks we’re still stoked with this vacuum. To answer a few questions people have asked. It’s amazing with pet hair, it’s not so amazing with a straw pet hair mix (dogs on farm). I doubt that’s a problem for most people. It really does a good job on both carpet and hard floors easily switching between the… Read more

stuck almost every time it mopped) and has not had any tangle issues with the brush. I also find I don’t have to empty and fill the water as much - even when I had my last robot on light water usage. Very happy so far! Communication and postage from Roborock has also been fantastic and easy. Great support.

Follow-up  · The anti tangle brush has definitely been the best. I feel like with the Ecovac, I had to detangle almost every clean but I haven’t had to intervene on a clean once with the Roborock. The Roborock also will vacuum the carpets and rugs first before wetting the mops where as the Evovac would wet the mops and lift them over carpet so you still got… Read more

ROBOROCK QREVO EDGE VACUUM CLEANER WHITE This is not a review for the ‘QREVO C’ but for the “ QREVO” which is more expensive than the “QREVO C’ We paid $1,430.00 It’s a god send, vacuuming and mopping edges and corners well. I only have wooden floors so Iam not sure how it handles carpet PRO Its app controlled. You can control which areas of… Read more

the house you want done, it maps the area and stores it in the app. This is done automatically and it is easy to set up..

You are notified by the app when the Roborock dock needs water in its cannisters filling or emptying. We have had to re fill the water cannister and empty the dirty water only a few times in 3 months.

it collects the dust/dirt in the vacuums internal bin and empties it automatically into the main Roborock dock bin. You are notified when the Roborock station’s bin needs emptying. This we don’t need to do often. If it picks up something that the vacuum is able to suck in like Christmas tree pine needles which are thin enough for it to suck in but has difficulty emptying out ,then you have to manually empty the dust collector in the vacuum.

It has a flexiarm extendable side brush which vacuums the edges and corners of the floor really well. It is advertised as having 18500Pa HyperForce suction. It has a flexiarm extendable side mop which mops the edge and corners of the floor really well. Occasionally if the mop which is a soft round mopping cloth disc falls off the Roborock, it will notify you via the app and it merely needs reattaching it to the Velcro.

it even mounts the floor level window sills and does them, according to their website it has an “Adapt Lift Chassis”, It doesn’t go up steps/stairs but it will go up small changes in floor level We don’t need to move toys off the floor it is advertised as having Reactive AI Obstacle Recognition. If chairs or other obstacles are left on the floor it does its best to get under the chair going as far as it can. Basically, wherever it can get to , it vacuums and/or mops.

It has a dual anti tangle brush , so that human hairs or dog hairs don’t get tangled in it.

CONS It’s a little too high to go under our IKEA couches. It does go under our beds I wanted to put the Roborock station into the corner of our laundry. But it complained and we have to position it where there is room on the sides, so we have put its back against the wall in the laundry where there is room on the left andright hand sides .

We bought factory refurbished direct from Roborock, to save a few dollars. This might have been a mistake, as the customer experience was NOT great. It arrived with the base and the robot both just wrapped in bubble wrap, in a box. There was no getting started guide, or ANYTHING to indicate what we should do. It was also missing the frame… Read more

which holds the vacuum rollers in, so that held us up a week, but they did post out a replacement as soon as I emailed them, so customer service is VERY fast.

Once I installed the app, it looked fairly easy to setup, except that being a factory refurb, it also did not have the QR code to sync the robot to the app the first time. Had to hit up a Youtube video to find out how to forcibly reset the robot and put it into sync mode, to get it linked to the app. Once it was in the app, it headed off to spend 40-ish minutes mapping out our house, and it did a really good job! It even made its way around my study, managing to map UNDER the large format printer which lives on furniture dollys under my desk (literally ONLY JUST enough clearance for the robot to fit under).

The first mop of the house was a bit of a catastrophe - I thought it would SEE cables on the floor, and avoid them, but it tends to just roll right over, them and get caught and pull the left side mop off. In the first three cleans of the house, we put that mop back on maybe 8 times? We're now organising under-desk trays to keep ALL of our cabling in our bedrooms and offices, off the floor.

With the cable issue figured out, it's been AWESOME. It takes about 6 hours to do our whole house (5 bedrooms, with two bathrooms and three large living areas, kitchen, and walk-in pantry), which includes a two hour charge in the middle - it's 200 minutes all up for ~180m^2 of floor area cleaned. We have it head off at 9am every day, and it finishes about 2-2:30pm. It also fires up at 10pm every night and re-does the kitchen just to make sure anything that was dropped on the floor while making dinner is cleaned up.

Yes there were a few things to sort out at the start - which probably could have been solved with having a good Getting Started type guide - but we are LOVING it now. Only complaint I would have, is that the water tanks need to be bigger - fresh water tank HAS to be refilled twice a day - the robot empties it doing the house clean, so it needs to be refilled before it can re-do the kitchen at night - and then it needs to be re-filled before the morning, or it won't get the whole house done again. Though I'm sure one robot doing an entire house our size in one day wasn't in the design brief :D

I should mention, we have no carpet - the living areas and hallways are tile, and the bedrooms are wood veneer flooring. We just have a large rug in the lounge and living room, and a small rug in two of the bedrooms - the robot detects those fine and only vacuums them - though it does move one of the mats around a bit - I need to figure out how to stop it sliding around the floor :D

Noise? During the day? Not bad at all. You don't want it in the same room as you while you're watching telly, it's a little loud for that unless you turn the TV up a bit. At night, funnily enough, it's not the robot vacuuming that makes the noise, it's the robot clunk-clunk-clunking over the tiles that makes the noise. I went to bed early a couple of nights ago, and for 30 mins while it was vacuuming and mopping the kitchen, I could hear the 'clack clack clack' as it drove around the tiles in the kitchen.

All in all though yeah, ABSOLUTELY recommend getting one :)

Update: This is REALLY bad at navigation. Our dog bowls gets pushed around during cleans (big silver bowls) and it bumps into walls trying to pass through doorways! Keeping this short and sweet. Roborock's object avoidance is bad. The adapt-lift (the reason we bought this one) is OK at best. Adaptlift: We need it to get around some of the… Read more

thresholds in the house. But with the bad object avoidance, it will raise itself to climb over things like an ironing board's legs, then get stuck.

For some reason, when it tries to go over a threshold, it will run into the edge/wall, rather than go through the centre of it. It's set in the app, but each time, bumps into the side. It also needs to go to full height to get over, but it will spend a lot of time trying at different heights (and bumping into the wall) before it gets over (don't know why it doesn't save this info)

Object avoidance: It will run over and get stuck on a lot! It's like we're back to vacuum by brail, bumping into things to work out when to move elsewhere. We've also found it starring at an open doorway (with a registered threshold), doing nothing, saying it's stuck and requires rescue :/ Nothing under or around it.

Conclusion: We came to Roborock from Dreame l10s after a faulty device and the worst customer service I've encountered, which even Harvey Normans confirmed Dreame are impossible to deal with (HN refunded us on the spot when we showed them the issue). We heard good things about Roborock, so thought we'd try them out. But right now, we're just missing the superior object avoidance of the Dreame

We paid nearly $3,000 for this, expecting a premium experience, but are disappointed

Works great but let down by poor obstacle avoidance/reactive AI – Pros: The Roborock app has always been easy to use The mopping and vacuuming is excellent, I have a household with 3 pets and it picks up all their mess fine. Navigation is excellent, it tends not to spend time thinking about what to do next. The dock is well equipped with handy features. Cons: The obstacle avoidance on this is appalling, this… Read more

is well known if you Google this. Even with its AI features and recognising cabling, it still gets tangled in wiring. I have not seen a robotic vacuum get tangled in wiring since I had an older S5 model which has basic sensors. It will identify and recognise some items but it fails to react accordingly and hits them anyway. They advertise that its pet friendly - it recognised my dog that was sleeping in the hallway but again got right up close to it where it almost sucked its tail in.

Although the app is user friendly you can still trick robot through the app. For example, the robot was going home after I clean and I asked it do an extra clean in a random spot. As it was docking it decided to just start the mop and vacuum whilst it was halfway inside the dock causing a bit of a ruckus.

It is an expensive unit and their current flagship. A lot people will not pay this kind of money especially knowing that it's obstacle avoidance is subpar. Sure, it is better than not having any AI/reactive avoidance but at $2800 I would like to think that everything works as advertised.

It is a shame the obstacle avoidance is poor because the other aspects of the robot are excellent.

Avoid, incredibly expensive for a bad clean – Lucky the stick vac came in the bundle because after every vac & mop by this product I have to vacuum the whole house with all the pieces the robo vac missed. The mop also seems to spread dirt rather than cleaning it even when putting the setting on wash mop every 10 mins. Very much not worth the eye watering price point.

Huge upgrade from our last Roborock - the S7 Max. The main things we love: 1. We have long-haired cats, their hair was always getting stuck in the S7 - in the rollers, even in the dust bin which never properly emptied into the the dock. it was so clean - maybe it wasn't actually running at night! 2. The dock is much better. The wet cleaning area completely detaches for cleaning - this was a big annoyance with the S7 - it gets dirty in there and there was no easy way to clean it. Overall, a much better vac - highly recommended. My only SMALL complaint is that the app changed and I find the scheduling a little annoying.
