not happy – Installation went well. BUT no manuel,yes can download, it doesn't tell you how to operate the digital display. Left to try and work out. Didn't say how noisey it is. Still trying to work out how to set a timer. turns on early hours of morning. Neighbour not happy. Show details

Refusing warranty repair & drainage mis-installed – Ecovantage are fighting making repairs on a faulty heat pump hot water system with a broken overflow valve, poor performance from the unit & have installed the drainage to empty overflow water onto my wooden foundation under my house instead of in a garden bed under 1m away. I am out $700 of water bills this quarter alone, $370 hiring an independent plumber to find the leak & if it doesn't get fixed soon I will have the cost of restumping for my foundation, assuming there hasn't been damage already making this necessary.

This has been the worse experience with plumbing & warranty service I have ever experienced.

DO NOT USE ECOVANTAGE – I have recently had a heat pump hot water system installed under the NSW HEER scheme by ecovantage. The day after the install the heat pump did start. I contacted ecovantage customer service and was advised that operations would contact me. They never did, even after more calls, which meant I would have no hot water once the tank was emptied. finally managed to get the heat going by downloading the manual and working out how to start it ( I never saw the electrician and had no operation instructions) The next issue has been pointed out to me that the hot water pipe from the tank to the tempering was not insulated and neither was the tempering valve itself, my friend has just had the same heat pump installed and pointed the lack of insulation compared his install. I also have an issue with the heat pump and so I contacted customer service on multiple occasions about the issues and once was told operations would be in contact, and once agin they never contacted me. I also phoned the electrician and texted him with no response, I contacted the assessor and texted him and got no response. I would never ever recommend ecovantage.

hours of lighting to our core buildings and ensure continuity of our data and office equipment during our regular power outages. The quality of the panel installation was recently tested in 100km per hour winds and the equipment on the roof remained secure and undamaged. Our savings made in the last two month have been significant. So much that we have committed to installing a further 30kw of panels and an additional 19kw battery for our park.

Just a subcontractor with no accountability - took 6 months to install, 6 cancellations, thousands in lost income – Only after you pay do they tell you how long it will be to install, and they just subcontract it out to another plumber. If that plumber doesn't show up, they don't do anything other than put you back in contact with them. We had renovated a granny flat that had an old broken hot water system and couldn't move someone in for 6 months. Numerous… Read more

cancellations, sometimes just didn't even show up when I had taken time off to ensure they'd have access for installation. Do not bother.

Energy monitoring devices being installed without consent by companies claiming to be accredited by Ecovantage – An electricity usage monitor was installed on our power meter today without consent. The device is an Emerald Energy Advisor. The installer claimed to be working for a company that was accredited by Ecovantage, under the Victorian Government energy upgrade scheme. I have reported the incident to Ecovantage and are awaiting their response.

In addition, I have researched these devices, both the EMERALD, and the near identical PowerPal. I consider them useless, as I get all of the same information already (hourly energy usage) from my energy supplier’s website.
