I have EHS9019 ,Has been reliable but now it come on whilr switched off ,on low side at probable half power will turn itself on and off. Stumped.?

I have been charging my Eiger torch for some time now and will not work on battery. Works with the power lead attached but not by its self. Blue indicator lights on the rear of the torch are all on except the last indicator light, that is still flashing Am I doing something wrong??? Help please Cheers

Sorry nap, I don’t know. Maybe bunnings could assist you with this question. They should support what they sold. Note that my eiger torch packed up not long after doing my review. I think that was my fault using the wrong size input cable. These torches are hard to come by now.
It's a LED emitter rather technically involved with good soldering skills. It's possible that it's a component and not the emitter itself..

I would ask bunnings, that is where I bought about 6 of these lights. They should back up their product.

Hi I would be looking to fault find the problem first have you ever dropped the torch as you may have broken some thing loose inside torch hope this helps

can you repalce the battery as mine dont last as long now when fully charged
The battery is a pair of 18650 4.2V LiPos connected with a 2 pin plastic connector inside. There is plenty of room inside for battery replacement, increasing the capacity 2x or 4x should be possible. I have repair the USB connector on a unit that had completely broken off and fallen inside. The USB connector is not supported enough, resulting in soldering failure and breakage. A simple unit, but batteries will decrease over time.
I have misplaced the charger cord for my Eiger Illuminater plus torch. Do I need a cord with a USB connection at both ends or a cell phone connection at one end. Does the charging cord get plugged in to the USB (larger) plug or the smaller plug on the torch. Can I buy a charging cord online if all else fails? Kind regards, Peter L:ewis
Take torch to jb electrics or electrical shop you can buy lead to suit torch and plug into usb plug into power l did that for mine.

Hi You don't have to use a usb cord all you need is an power adaptor to reduce your mains voltage down to right input as for car charging a lead can be made up using a sig lighter plug lead and a plug wirred write for charging torch, at most a charger adaptor should only cost round $15-25 dollars or what ever your country use

HI Have you had the light apart at all ? it maybe a diode faulty or wire short you will need to check with a multi meter unless you have had the light apart and did not connect things back the way it was in first place

Not that I am aware of use of a multi meter should tell you if led is dead

Brilliant torch would love another one but can't find it anywhere I bought mine in Bunnings 2 or 3 years ago. The ones they sell now are nowhere near as good why would they not keep that one it's the best torch we have ever had. Are they still sold anywhere??
It appears that they have bee taken of the market for what ever reason no one in nz seem to stock them as well

The cord is a USB C to standard USB. Any electronics store like Jaycar, maybe JB Hifi and maybe Big W. will have one
