We bought the fridge a few years ago, the pedestals broken, to replace them, there are not available, and have to buy handlers as well, which cost over $200 for 2 X replacement. The handlers are still in perfect condition. What waste!

The refrigerator is good. The top handle is not fit for purpose. The top and bottom clips have shattered inside the mounting pedestals. Replacement cost is $150+: far too much for pensioners with no guarantee of satisfaction.
Purchased in for $1,338.

Excellent fridge: it’s appearance, effectiveness, and the layout of shelves with two crispers. Sadly, shelves and crispers are so difficult to remove and replace for cleaning. It’s the only flaw.

Beautiful looking fridge with easy to clean stainless steel finish. I have the left hand opening model.
Interior layout of fridge and freezer is excellent, the best in the bottom mounts available in my opinion. There is a dedicated place for everything. Bottle rack and twist icemaker are very handy. The looks and interior layout were main reasons I bought this fridge.
Fridge is not quiet, but it's not loud and intrusive like my Fisher & Paykel was.
Fridge tends to maintain a consistent temperature throughout fridge and freezer compartments.

My fridge is 5 years old and its been serviced 3 times for the same fault in the first 3 years. Now its forming ice in the freezer compartment. Is it worth spening money or get something else?

Crap. Might as well pay another AUD2000 to get food poisoning.
2 months post buying this fridge, an Electrolux technician said this model fridge component breaks down which is normal for it. The fridge component does not keep the foodstuff cold many times without us knowing. There were heaps of groceries thrown out after 1 day and my partner has food poisoning a couple of times from 1-day spoiled milk. Not only that, we have lost nearly AUD1000 for thrown out groceries like milk, cheese, meat and fresh produce. Electrolux said they cannot guarantee the new replacement fridge will be better but they hope it...
Read more could be a better batch. The phone call and schedule of any service from them take ages. Highly recommended if you want this model of fridge, you should provision another AUD1000 for medical bills, fresh food and take-outs while the fridge does not work after 2 months.Purchased in at e&s for $1,679.

Poor product, worse customer support and ethics
Purchased from Appliances Online 22/06/2017. 3 breakdowns in 4 year with repair times all more than 10 days. Very slow (days or even weeks) customer service response via email. The most recent breakdown October 2021 Electrolux stated in an email if the problem was a manufacturing fault there would be no charge. At the end of the repair they made my tenant pay on the spot which was very upsetting to them, and we were not advised beforehand. After this repair I have politely asked Electrolux to comply with “Reasonable durability” as per there res...

Have had this unit for two years and never missed a beat. I bought this to replace a similar same brand after moving and renovating kitchen. Inside it has really strong glass shelves which hold heavy items without problems. The meat storage drawer and the bottom vegetable storage drawer are wonderful. Really extends the life of stored fresh produce. The freezer has two deep drawers and one shallow drawer particularly useful to store flat packets of frozen pastry etc. I find the ice cube dispenser a great addition easy to fill and fit, it slides into place with a container underneath. One twist and the ice cubes drop into the container ready for use no mess or struggle involved. Very energy efficient too.

Good looking fridges. We purchased two and have them side-by-side with a connector kit.
Good points:
- runs quite
- fridge and freezer drawers are smooth.
- lighting in the fridge is great
Bad points:
- can’t level fridges correctly as they lean back too much
- fridge shelves appear flimsy. Put a casserole dish and looks like it will cave in. Bend is pronounced.

Very happy with workings & look of fridge - efficient, quiet & stylish. Not 5stars as we had to separately change the opening side to LH hinge. It only comes in RH hinge version

Its working now but the thermostat was replaced 3 times and now the door handles have broken. Electrolux were kind and replaced the handles but I have no idea how to fix to the door without a service call. The Fridge has not been lucky for me and now its a discontinued model despite being top of the range for its size at the time. If anyone can teach me how to put the handles on it would be great.

Bought this in August 2017, worked fine for 2 years. But after a month outside the warranty period just died, called the Electrolux repair service which they replaced the main electric board, then after 1 month died again. Then called the service man again who poured hot water in the ice creation in the freezer section.
Then after 1 month died again. Then again poured hot water.
Then after 2 months died again. Called another service guy who told that the board needs to be replaced.
So called the earlier Electrolux service they told they’ll need to start the service process again.
Just horrible, I’ll never get another Electrolux or its subsidiary company products.

We have had our 450L bottom mount Electrolux Left opening black fridge for exactly one year now. We couldn't be happier. Despite taking up smaller space than my old top mount it has far more interior room. I love having a large crisper drawer which keeps the vegetables at an ideal temperature, which makes them last longer. As vegetarians we need to be able to have a good supply of veggies. We're mad cheese lovers and the dedicated cheese drawer was what made me decide finally on this fridge. I also love the wine rack on which we store wine, mil...
Read morek in bottles, mineral water and soft drinks. There's enough room under the rack for spare eggs, (there's also an egg tray) etc. The freezer holds a good amount of food, also more than my old one. I appreciate the top, smaller drawer, which is perfect for my chiller blocks, pizzas, and small packs of left over frozen items. The fridge is quiet, while running you can hear a low humm, however if there is any kind of ambient noise, you can't hear a thing. This fridge beeps if the door is left open too long, which is great with a husband who likes to make a salad sandwich with the door open. It also has a holiday mode to reduce electricity consumption when we're on holidays. The black finish is easy to care for, just a wipe with a damp chamois and I don't find that finger prints are all that noticeable, despite what I've read in other reviews. All in all, I couldn't recommend this refrigerator more highly.Questions & Answers
my freezer section is building up with ice at the bottom under the last bin and I have to clean it out every day or it leaks onto the floor. The fridge is only 5 years only. How can I fix the problem? The seals apprear Ok; it keeps its temperature; the vents are not blocked... look forward to hearing back. Did anyone have the same problem?
Hello. I have this fridge its just on 5 years old but I have had so many problems with it. Sadly I bought it just after the production moved from Adelaide. The temp control has been replaced 3 times now the freezer is icing up at the bottom right and then melts over the floor! Help I have a lemon.
Why are public questions to Electrolux seemingly being sent to product reviewers to answer? Why do you only have 2 year warranty on your fridges when Australian consumer Law has reasonable expected product life regulations? Most people expect 10 to 15 trouble free years out of a fridge. My fridge failed within the warranty period, but by the time i got back to the store it was outside warranty period and was told as it is now out of warranty we can't help.
