Electrolux excellent service – I purchased this fridge several months ago. I arrived with a big scratch on top of the freezer door, so I contacted Electrolux. They offered to replace the door. After the initial poor communication with the service consultant, Electrolux sent a technician with a new door. I did take around 3 months but it was done. Great service Electrolux, thank you.

Stay away – 3 major repairs and now the paint is coming off the doors. Stay away from this brand 4 years old EDIT. after leaving this review they came to the party and replaced both of the doors. And they were nothing but helpful. If only their customer service department originally wasn't more helpful. Show details

Design fault in this refrigerator – We bought this product 2 years ago. It performed well until a week ago when the refrigerator section stopped working. A technician found that the fan in the bottom of the unit had frozen and this stopped the cycle of air. It required turning off the unit to allow the ice to thaw meaning food would spoil. After searching the internet we found this to be a common problem with this refrigerator. Be aware of this design problem before you buy. Show details

Dents and ripples on both fridges purchased – I bought the dual fridge with the trim kit and especially designed the kitchen around this dual fridge to make this a feature. Once installed, I was horrified to notice multiple dents and ripples on both units - fridge and freezer panels. I called customer service who were unable to help and asked me to email photos to customer care. It's been… Read more

weeks with no response from Electrolux. After doing a quick google search this is a common problem with Electrolux fridges. As described by Beth M from Adelaide, she was advised by customer service that this was quite common. Who in their right mind would spend thousands on a fridge, which is the centre piece of a kitchen willingly knowing or be prepared to put up with dents. This doesn't make sense, and I'm sick of companies taking advantage of consumers by not even acknowledging a complaint.. they are just laughing at us. Manufacturing quality control is so poor, and now I have to jump through hoops to get any action. This is DEFINITELY a manufacturing issue. Think twice before purchasing People should be aware of Electrolux and their effilliates all over social media so they don't make the same mistake we have made.

Great fridge/freezer in every way (except one) – The fridge looks great, is good value for money and for the energy efficiency. It feels well made, with a solid sounding door and drawers that don't get stuck or feel like they're going to snap like other fridges I've owned. The taste guard does a noticeably good job of avoiding "fridge taste" on open items in the fridge. It maintains a steady… Read more

temperature too. And the temperature thus far has remained even - no freezing of items at the back to keep everything else cool. Worth the money.

At night, it sounds like the shadow creatures from Ghost.

Awesome so far – Hubby and I bought this fridge/freezer in Feb 2021 from The good guys at ipswich. We have had it for 8m so far. The good: - SOOO QUIET! You can't ever hear this fridge. Its seriously quiet. - Moveable draws in the door that actually allow for sauces and tall bottles and eggs and eveyrthing you need space wise. Its very practical. - Moveable… Read more

(with practical spaces) draws inside fridge. - The 2 crisper draws keep food so so fresh for so long. Our old one would struggle to keep lettuce for more than 4 days or so. This one a bag lasts at least a week! I'm actually shocked at how long our food is lasting now. As a result, our wastage has halved. -Holds SO much food. - Shelf arrangements allows me to put a whole stock pot or the like into the fridge. -Easy to open even after you've just opened it. It doesn't suction shut and require a body builder or crow bar to get open again lol - Although plastic, it doesn't feel flimsy. Shelves and housings feel really solid. - Easy to clean, no tiny little nooks or crannies to get food or crumbs stuck in.

The negatives - You have to open the freezer door entirely to be able to get to anything in there. Its really annoying when you could just reach in if the draws didn't have the solid plastic fronts on them. - Freezer draws rather than shelves means you can't fit as much in. We've had to adapt how we store food and are looking at another freezer cos this one just isn't big enough for foor and left overs to be frozen -The ice tray is flimsy and really tricky to get back into the freezer once filled up and the ice cubes are seriously TINY. And with no other room in the entire freezer, we can't use another tray. Kind of a pain. - Colour is hard to match to anything else in the kitchen and does tend to show some fingers on the door- btu this is really nit picking cos so does regular stainless.

Overall we are very happy with our fridge. I will come back and update at the 2yr mark if something happens to it like several other people's here have. Makes me a little concerned if i'm honest. But we will wait and see.

Good looking ;5 star energy rating! – Left hand to suit kitchen layout.Handles a little difficult to fit,but with patience and not forcing Allen key seems to be quite a good fit.Ice cube tray small, but appears to be a standard across all similar fridges.Overall very happy Show details

I got the lemons – The first fridge that arrived had a control panel that only worked after I switched the fridge off at the power point. After a couple of days the fridge stopped working although the freezer kept humming along nicely. I got a replacement. When I discovered the control panel didn't work on that one either, I sent it back. It's a pity. I really liked… Read more

the layout and energy efficiency of this model. Lots of people rave about it online. I obviously got the lemons!

Easy to use, looks great – After a terrible experience with our last fridge, we ended up going from a French door style fridge to the Electrolux bottom mount and it's been a great upgrade. It's a fridge, so there's not exactly a big feature list to pore over, however it does what it says on the box, it keeps food cold, it's consistent and it looks the part. The shelving… Read more

and drawers are solid and well put together and the control panel is easy to use.

It's a little louder than the old fridge, but nothing major, and it doesn't seem to be outside the standard noise level for a fridge.

If I had to be picky about anything (and I often feel the need to be) I would say that the door hinge seems a bit loud, there is a noticeable click when you close the door - we actually thought there was an issue at first, but when I called back into Harvey Norman, I noticed it on the display unit as well (Surprisingly we didn't pick up on this when we purchased it, but it would not have stopped us from buying it anyway)

All in all, a great fridge that works well.

Electrolux refrigerator – We bought a new Electrolux EBE5307BC-R fridge this week from Harvey Norman. We were required to fit the two door handles ourselves and instructions are included together with an allen key. The allen key is so soft and flexible, and the allen screws so stiff that it was extremely difficult to tighten the door handles to the fridge, resulting in the… Read more

thread of the screw being stripped, meaning that the door handle will never be properly tight to the door. Very disappointed with both HN and Electrolux. I recommend that anybody buying an Electrolux fridge insists beforehand that the fridge is fully installed by the vendor.

Great fridge – I’m very happy with this fridge. Well designed shelving, it doesn’t freeze my vegetables like my old fridge did, maintains its temperature and it’s energy efficient. It’s quiet too. Very happy with this purchase. There are slightly cheaper fridges in this size in other brands but the energy efficiency of this model won me over. Show details

Good fridge – New fridge keeps all compartments cold. Wife loves the vegetable drawer, very easy access with no bending. You need to be a bit careful what you put in small door shelves as a few items have fallen when door is opened. This fridge is a little deeper than it's predecessor and about 10cm of side and the door protrude further that the cupboards and… Read more

benchtops. Would have been nicer if the sides were light grey or silver rather than the very dark grey which is a big contrast to the Stainless Steel doors. As per other reviews you can hear the motor operating at night when there is no background noise but it is not excessively loud. Overall quite happy with this fridge just wish the sides were a lighter colour.
