Electrolux EBM4307 / EBM5107 Series Bottom Mount

Australian made and in a LH door too :) – The Electrolux EBM 4307 SC(L) is a super stylish fridge !! I have a new style place with cornice-less type plaster. The art deco inspired angular lines of this fridge have surprised even me with how much better the kitchen looks now that it is here. (Heck, it makes an amazing difference if I'm less bashful !!) The fridge it replaced was only a 2.5 years old, but this Lux one has 35% more space, at 20+% less electricity to run. The vegetables keep noticeably longer in this fridge than any other I have owned. Great little ice tray set up in the freezer too. The great thing is that this is an Aussie made fridge with the quality of a German made product.
For me, the availability of a factory made left hand door opening means that I am not letting in as much moving warmth from the heater during winter.
I am happy with the deal I got from Harvey Norman on this fridge including delivery to a regional area. Overall Style, Aussie Made, Build Quality. Door light button sometimes touches my arm when reaching in.

We have had this fridge for 4.5 years now ... and it has been a truly worthwhile investment. This Electrolux really keeps our food brilliantly fresh !! Vegies have an amazing shelf life in this fridge. The stylish stainless steel has kept its finish beautifully and the whole unit is still tight and reassuring (including the seals). 5 stars !!
Excellent – Great design for a smaller kitchen, very quiet and the two main selling points for us were the level of energy efficiency and environmentally friendly gas. Other things:all the drawers are on runners, big deli drawer, glass shelves, the split shelf if you need space for taller items is an excellent idea and the manual ice maker actually works. This is the first bottom mount fridge we've had and I'll never go back to the top mount or the side by side like our previous fridge. Great machine - looks great - love it - absolutely worth paying a bit extra. Energy efficient
Quiet
Looks great
Lots of room
Multiple shelf positions
Well organised door shelves
Easy clean - no finger marks
Overall use of space in both the fridge and freezer Maybe the vegetable drawer could be split as it is on the bigger model but this is minor as the drawer is huge.

I formerly had an EBE4300 that had a fan blowing in the fridge compartment that would stop when you open the door.
My new EBM5107 does not seem to have a fan blowing when the fridge door is closed. In summer drinks in the door were too warm. This required the fridge to be set on the lowest setting which used a ton of power.
Can you advise if your fridge compartment on the EBM4307 has a fan that turns off and on when you open and close the door?
Thanks
