I just picked one up today as it was getting scrapped by our local electronics store it's ready to work as mum does the dogs bed in as well I also have a heat pump dryer as back up
EXCELLENT- UNCRUSHED SOFTLY DRIED CLOTHING – REVERSE TUMBLE HEAT PUMP DRYER, – PRO The biggest PRO is that it doesn’t need to be vented outside, we have it in our laundry and there is no condensation in the air , it does not create a wet atmosphere , there is no fluff in the air either . The laundry is left as it was after the dryer completes, unlike some of the old dryers. The next biggest PRO is that it reverse tumble dries. We know someone who has a heat pump dryer that doesn’t reverse tumble, the clothes are crushed. A reverse tumble dryer makes a lot of difference.
The clothes are just beautifully softly dried (unlike our old dryer, which left the clothes feeling hard and dried). The difference in the clothing is hard to describe, the clothes come out softer, it is a big noticeable difference.
Heat Pump Dryer - Uses a lot less electricity than out old tumble dryer ,we have confirmed this via our solar panels app.
After it finishes it sounds a bell and it flips the clothes over for a little while longer.
It’s reasonably quiet,
It does do woollens and you are given a drying rack with it, but I haven’t used this feature. The drying rack just sits in the dryer, so I have removed it and put it away.
It has a reversible door which can be put on the left or right hand side, the people that deliver will not do this, you have to get a technician out or I suppose do it yourself , not sure whether the warranty would still be OK if you did this. At least the door can be reversed.
CON Its Heavier, than the old dryers, it cannot go on the wall.
It’s expensive but worth the money.
Maybe it takes a little longer than my old dryer but it really doesn’t matter to me
Electrolux are not that easy to deal with when anything goes wrong. We had an incorrect part delivered (it's not in relation to this product) , we are still trying to resolve it 2 months later.
Electrolux have an overseas call centre which makes it even more incomvenient
2 warranty claims in 2 years – Living in Tropical Cairns with 2 kids means lots of washing! And I bought this heat pump dryer just over and 1 year and half ago. After 6 months of using the dryer, started to take all day to dry my 1 load of washing. Warranty tech has confirmed faulty unit so it was great that they replaced with new however it took about 1 month for the tech to attend and another 6 weeks to receive replacement one. 2nd one worked well for a while and I am now going through 2nd warranty claim as it is not drying. Once again confirms that unit is faulty and replacement one has been offered by the warranty team. Process takes so long for the warranty and I need one that is reliable. Asked for money back to replace existing one with other brand.

Our first heat pump dryer – We have had this for around six months now. After a major renovation, including our laundry, and given the spec limitations we decided to ditch our cheap dryer and move to a heat pump model. Use and care is really easy and we have no major complaints. I have read some complaints that cloths don't seem to be dry. That's not our experience. (Except for shoes! The silly shoe rack thing that came with it really doesn't work in my view.)
We did not elect to install the drain so have to remember to empty the water tank. It would be nice to have a warning of when that is getting full rather than just having to remember after every use.
I honestly don't know why it needs to have wifi and an app. It's all pretty useless in my view.

Decent heat pump that can do linen sheets – Great upgrade from my Samsung heat pump dryer which died after 5 years. It performs quite powerfully, clothes come out very warm and dry - I'm almost worried it may be over drying them. I got this dryer over other manufacturers specifically for the reverse tumble feature on the bedding mode, and it is fantastic for dealing with wet clingy sheets. I have yet to run into the wet ball issue that many heat pump driers have. Not a huge fan of the aesthetics and it is hard to use in a dark room (all buttons should have been backlit, Electrolux) but build quality feels nice.
Lost one star because the Electrolux app is atrocious. Ive been unable to get it pair despite a strong signal and mesh network. 'Doesn't bother me overall but don't get this if you are specifically after a connected appliance. Also would be nice if it had a self cleaning condenser for this price point.
Overall, a good purchase.
