Would never go back to front loader – The machine has great finsctions and is user friendly. Ample room for big sheets and compact in my small laundry. Show details
Game changer for our home!! – Absolutely in love with our Hisense heat pump dryer. I was hesitant to get a dryer due to the assumed electricity consumption but was delighted to find this dryer is extremely economical to the point I barely notice a difference on my power bill. It has a range of settings and I love the delay start timer to make sure I have things done when I… Read more
need them. I dry everything from every day cotton, to school uniforms through to heavy duty work wear. My husband has used the shoe rack successfully too. Would definitely purchase again!
Great dryer, but – I bought this dryer to replace a very old tumble dryer. First impressions are that it is pretty quiet, and input power is only about 800W. Default drying setting leaves clothes a little damp so you can iron them. Just click the "Dry Level" button for a dryness you can fold immediately or wear. Dry cycle was about 2.25-2.75hrs. Water can be emptied… Read more
manually, or via drainage pipe. But...the main problem is the design on the inner lint filter. It has a curved thin plastic frame, which when opened for cleaning can easily break. Spare lint filter I have found online for about $60.
Dishwasher microwave – I'm looking for a dishwasher and like in now Love it my new place now Show details
Safety Hazard and Unreliable – The dryer always gets stuck on 1:39 and on 51:minutes. We have had a technician come out twice now. First one did nothing and said it was our fault because of Lindt. Second time he replaced the mother board. Still doing the same thing. Doesn't matter how perfectly clean this appliance is, it still stays on these two times. We clean and empty… Read more
both the water and Lindt catchers after every bloody use. We have solar power and purchased this one on a recommendation from the salesperson at the time. It is suppose to be energy efficient, but if we have to be home for safety reasons to place clothes in Dryer, then it does not serve the purpose. We also purchased the one that should not make the towels and sheets clump together in a ball, but they still do. We are so disappointed in this product and more so the refusal of our money back to buy another machine. Have been unhappy with it since we purchased it, and we should have been entitled to a refund.
Started good, but – Had this drier for 6 months and it performed quite well. One day it stopped and a very strong burning smell emitted from the drier. The drum inside was red hot. To their credit, Hisense sent out a repair guy the next day. 6 weeks later, we still do not have a functioning dryer. Hisense are apologetic, but claim there is nothing we can do but wait.… Read more
I am concerned that the drier design appears to be able to fail in a manner that could have started a house fire (never leave these unattended in my view), and that Hisense is hands-off in rectifying issues (especially for a brand new machine). I probably should have stayed with Bosch in retrospect.
Great drier….exceeds all expectations – I bought this after reading the reviews of heat pump driers, after a little searching I found the Hisense at The Good Guys for $979 although I have now seen them at an online store for $888 For my first load I tried drying a 9kg load of underwear, track pants, cotton sweaters, cotton shirts and socks. Initially I was worried, checking after one… Read more
hour they seemed to be still damp but as I had the setting on auto I let the dryer complete its cycle and the results were great, all of the clothes were soft, fluffy and dry and folded straight into the wardrobe… Very impressed I haven’t had a power bill yet so don’t know the savings but by the amount of heat generated during drying suggests substantial savings are possible. Yes it does take about 30 minutes longer but it’s a set and forget. It just does it’s job and is whisper quiet with no discernible increase in humidity or radiated heat. I am slowly working my way through all of the settings but for everything dried so far Auto mode is all I need. You won’t regret the purchase.
Exceeds Expectations – I have a big family and have been happy with our Bosch 8kg Heat Pump dryer but given the number of loads of washing we do we needed a second dryer to keep up. This was chosen as a significantly cheaper option but still with the high energy star rating as we saw significant impacts to our power bill when we dropped the old style dryer. So far it… Read more
has exceeded my expectations and we use it more than the Bosch dryer (which sits on top of). It drys larger loads faster. Clothes come out feeling dryer. Everything is less tangled. The sensor seems to be good at picking when to stop, especially compared to others I have had.
There are all the drying options you would expect but I just put it on Auto and Extra Dry and it works for everything. It cycles both directions which is meant to stop sheets tangling and to dry evenly, it seems to make a difference but I’m on the fence and will wait to see how it performs over time.
We have to do a little more cleaning of the lower filter as the Bosch auto cleans but this is minimal. I have it hooked up to the sink so I don’t have to drain it, be aware it doesn’t pump water out do you need some fall between the top right of the dryer and where you connect it to the sink. The top filters are easy to clean each load.
I’m very happy and highly recommend this dryer. IF this is your first heat pump dryer don’t be surprised if you think the clothes still feel damp. They aren’t and will feel dryer after a few minutes in a basket. I notice this less with this dryer than the Bosch one. It takes longer to dry but it is worth the money saved in power.
