ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS DESIGN - DO NOT BUY! Mandatory "Anti-Crease" feature that CANNOT be disabled. When the cycle finishes, the machine ,keeps tumbling every single minute for up to an HOUR.I want to run my appliance, go to bed, and have it STOP when it is done. Instead, I have to listen to it tumble all night or physically get out of bed to… Read more
turn the dial to "Off."Forcing a mandatory 60-minute post-cycle run onto customers with zero setting to turn it off is a major design flaw. If you like sleeping in peace, buy literally any other brand. Total waste of money.
I have had this dryer for over two years now and it has NEVER dried washing properly/fully. I have to literally dry ONE fitted bed sheet and ONE flat sheet for 8 hours in this POS dryer! DO NOT BUY!!!! Show details
The machine was recommended to me instore due to the sensor drying. I thought it was something I was doing. But after reading some of the reviews I now know it isn’t. This dryer does not dry. The clothes don’t even come out warm. I am very disappointed and feel like I have a lemon. Very small load tried 30min cycle - still wet. Tried the hour cycle - still damp and not feeling warm at all. Would not recommend. Show details
Frustratingly designed for delay start. Three functions on the one setting! I bought this vented dryer for the delay start function. I have only used this feature a few times as it takes ten goes to work it out. The lock/unlock feature is on this… Read more
button as is the length of time of the drying. And add to that delay start function. very confusing and very annoying. Customer service was no help, they just read from the manual!! ..... which doesnt come with the machine but you have to download.
Follow-up · It took numerous attempts to work out how to use the delay start. Ringing customer service was a very poor experience where they just read from the manual. It shouldn't be this hard. they should have a separate button for this feature. if you press too long you end up locking it ( child lock) AI was very helpful when i uploaded the manual and… Read more
There is also a sensor feature on the same panel that is easy to work out. Now after a dozen or… Read more
I find this dryer great. But the instructions say to turn off the Child Loc (display screen will show "LOC") so your dryer will work again, to press the "Dry Temp" button for 5sec. Well maybe. But take it from me and my 1hour of frustration. Hold the "Dry Temp" button until you see the display screen say "UnLOC". Stupid instructions. It's a long 5secs. Show details
Doesn't work – I've previously had and loved Electrolux so i went in to Harvey Norman and purchased this one. BIG mistake. this works for over 3 hours and the clothes are still damp. i only bought it end of August and have complain to Harvey Norman. They asked me to call the warranty agent. i did and a young man came and kept turning it on and off and told… Read more

Badly Designed – Personally, I have bought Electrolux for 50 years.. But this dryer will be my last purchase . The sensor dry doesn't work .I am surprised no one has mentioned that if your dry clothes for one hour.. It takes another one hour to go through the cooling cycle to switch the dryer off automatically . What a terrible waste of time and power and… Read more
extremely inconvenient.. That is an inbuilt feature and you can't take it off So basically each time you use the dryer you have to manually switch it off or wait another hour for the dryer to switch itself off .. Also if your clothes aren't dry you can't just press start to resume. You have to switch the dial off and start again .. You then have to press the start button a few times before the dryer engages after that . Disappointed to say the least .
Terrible product with poor design “features” – Simply doesn’t perform. I wish I’d found these reviews before purchasing. Firstly if you want to dry a small load, you can’t use the sensor settings - it says as much in the user manual. The challenge then is that you’re limited to 30 minute intervals. Want to dry something for 45 minutes? No, sorry you can’t, unless you want to sit there and… Read more
manually stop it.
If you run a big load the sensor is still very hit and miss, about half the time it’s still wet after HOURS. My tiny 4kg dryer that’s over 10 years old dries quicker.
Finally. Even if you set it for half an hour, it will continue to spin every few minutes - apparently to reduce chance or creasing, but it continues for hours.
For a machine that’s meant to be one of the most efficient vented dryers I’d suggest it’s not even close to as efficient as the older non sensor models.
At last, a modern appliance that works as advertised – It's title on the front of the machine is ULTIMATE CARE 300, but the official model number is EDV605H3WB. I like everything about this clothes dryer. It has a tactile selector dial for the settings, which is so much easier than just electronic buttons found on some other dryers. While there are settings for Delicates, Synthetics and Bedding… Read more
(amongst other settings), I've used only the TIME settings (30, 60 or 90 minutes) and the automatic setting ("Extra") for Cottons. Most of my own clothes warn me not to tumble dry, so I'm using it mostly for bath towels and bed sheets. When setting it to "Cottons Extra", the display indicates that the dryer will run for 3 hours and 10 minutes. The first time I used it, I thought that it was a very long time to dry. But it seems that 3 hours and 10 minutes is the maximum time it will run. It seems to have built-in sensors to determine when the items are dry, because the dryer usually switches itself off after an hour and a half and my load of towels or bed sheets is beautifully dry. While I've been using it, it's never run for the full 3 hours and 10 minutes. During the drying cycle, the direction of spinning of the drum alternates to stop items bunching together. During the last few minutes of running, the dryer cools down, so once the cycle has completed, the items are at room temperature, but beautifully dry. Once the cycle has finished, the dryer will continue to slightly move the drum once a minute to reduce creasing of clothes. It will do this for up to an hour or until you move the selector dial to the OFF position.
The dryer came with wall-mounting brackets, but I've chosen to sit it on a bench in the laundry. I did add a rubber mat below it to slightly reduce noise and vibration. It wasn't too heavy. It was easily picked up and put into position by me and the delivery person.
This is a "no fuss, no fancy gimmicks" dryer. It just dries clothes, towels and bed sheets, and does it well. The final test will be how long it will last. That cannot yet be determined.
Great Dryer – Bought this Electrolux dryer as a replacement for the same brand. It lasted so well I didn't even bother to look at other brands, so unlike me not to research everything currently available. The sensor dry feature works well and saves power usage by not over drying. The 6kg size is well suited to our laundry needs. The anti tangle feature works… Read more
brilliantly I never have to fight pulling clothes apart. It's solidly built and feels like a quality appliance. With many settings to choose from I know my clothes will come out perfectly every time. It's a 2 star rating but you expect that with a vented dryer. I'm not prepared to pay a fortune for a better energy rating, as it isn't used every day. 9/10 from me Electrolux make a great dryer.
Quality dryer with good functions and looks great – Picked this up to replace an old basic dryer that was failing and very happy with it. It’s a good size for a family and has the features you want with easy to use controls. It’s relatively quiet and drys clothes and towels well. I’ve mounted it upside down above a top loader washing machine and due to its compact size it fits great. Show details
Terrible. Doesn't dry clothes! – I've had this a year now, and in the year I've had to get it 'fixed' 3 times now. The sensor doesn't correctly sense the items and therefore doesn't dry them. Several hours later still damp! So I have to dry them a second time on a different setting. The sense settings are useless. I don't even have the dryer at full capacity. I've done small loads and have the same issue. Show details

dryer won't turn on after using it for the first time – Brought this dryer on 11/02/2022 in TheGoodGuys store about a month and a half later we got it installed and used it for the first time. The next day we wanted to turn it on it wouldn't do anything, so I went back to the store to report it and get it fixed(23.04.2022), they said a technician will contact me within 48 hours to check the device and… Read more
decide if its going to be fixed or replaced after this I waited for 2 weeks of course no one contacted me. After 2 weeks (5.5.2022) I called the TheGoodGuys store again they said I need to speak with Electrolux(gave me the contact number and case id) Elextrolux case ID : 7288501 Electrolux told me I can call the local repair place (All Electrical & Refrigeration Services) and see when they are going to fix my device, so I contacted All Electrical...., they said it will be at least another 2 weeks until they get to my area to have a look at the dryer or I can bring it to their workshop and within a few days it can be fixed. Same day (5.5.2022 ) I bought in my dryer to the workshop and kept waiting, because I was told they will get back to me soon. After another 2 weeks(19.05.2022) I contacted All Electrical...., they informed me that they ordered the new parts for my dryer on the 17.05.2022 and it might take 5-10 business days to get the parts in. Ever since than I received a text message from TheGoodGuys saying they hope my repair request has been completed. I went back to the store yesterday (25.05.2022) the manager told me he will contact Electrolux and see whats happening but its "only" been 4 weeks which is normal. I don't feel this to be normal, no communication from either TheGoodguys nor Electrolux and sorry but All Electrical & Refrigeration Services are the worst in this whole scenario.
I just got the phone call from AllElectrical... That I can collect the dryer, it has been fixed! Only took them 33 days
Easiest dryer I’ve ever used – Brought this brand new dryer, super easy to use, just plug it in, load it with your wet cloths and the machine dose the rest. Cloths come out nice and dry
