Electrolux EHG645BE
VerifiedMPNs: 19375 and EHG645BE1 review
Burnt Plastic Rubber Smell from burners! Beware!!! – When cooking a burnt plastic/rubber smell is given off from burners since January 2023 install. Electrolux technician has checked and confirmed burning plastic/rubber smell present. Normally takes about 8-10 minutes when burners heat up for smell to become stronger. Have been waiting over three months for repair but Electrolux have not provided seals to be replaced. Contacted Electrolux to find a solution and advised “no supervisors or managers available” email is only option. Asked for a callback and was told not possible. Very poor service.
Purchased in at Harvey Norman for $1,350.
Hi Denise, I asked to speak to a Supervisor yesterday and was told all supervisors were in meetings. I asked could you please request a call back then, and had the call terminated. All of our contact information is with Electrolux. I have tried several times to find a solution and we have been very patient to no avail.
**Update** Electrolux’s service agency has since changed the gaskets sealing the burners and we now after several months of testing do not get the burning plastic/rubber smell. Appliance is now working well. Thank you Wholesale Appliances.
