Could easily live without it! – Makes a lot of noise. Very little dirt cleaning capacity. Will only pick up from bare floors relatively well. On carpet it gets a bit more. However, there are a half dozen devices on the market that are way, way better than this lightweight morsel of technology. Thank goodness I negotiated the price down to $55! Wait. Save your money. Best purchase for 2018 for me – Can’t believe I waited so long to get a cordless vacuum! I have been lugging around the Dyson (cord) and all the parts. I was having to carry it so it doesn’t mark our hard floors or the doors so needless to say I hated vacuuming! Now I love it -and do it twice a day after we eat ,so it’s mainly for the kitchen but on a full charge I can do… Read more

the bedrooms as well.

It seems to last for ages so I know I can clean where I want .

I actually enjoy cleaning even though it isn’t the lightest thing to push around but it feels sturdy and of good quality.

My parents had an Electrolux for 30 yrs and only got rid of it because I told them to move with the times even though there was nothing wrong with it-so I know it’s a good brand .

It’s also has little lights so u can see under furniture and get all the dust u can’t see usually.

I was static wiping then wet wiping the floors twice a day in between a proper vacuum -Over that !

So now I can easily just grab it whenever I need , it’s all set up in the charger ready to go.

I don’t know why the reviews aren’t better ,I hope it doesn’t suddenly break down .

Best $250 I have spent I don’t think I want to use my normal vacuum again .

Poor Battery Life – The vacuum cleaner works well on tiles and reasonable on carpet. I have no complaints about its ability to clean and to empty. However the battery life leaves a lot to be desired. When new it ran for 20 minutes but now will only last five minutes. When speaking to an Electrolux representative I was informed that the warranty was for two years… Read more

only.

To replace the battery you have to replace the entire hand piece at a cost of $154.00 and went on to say replace the entire vacuum cleaner.

We consider the design of the vacuum cleaner to be of poor design in as much as you cannot simply replace the battery as you do with so many other battery powered appliances and tools.

Because of the battery problem and the attitude of the Electrolux personnel, I would not recommend this vacuum cleaner.

We will be looking to replace it with another brand.

Pet hair – I wanted something light and rechargeable that I could pick up pet hair with quickly on a daily basis. This one isn’t to bad, I have timber floors mostly and it works well on those. It’s not so effective on my older carpet, but I’m sure when I get a modern low pile carpet installed it’ll do the job well enough. It serves the purpose well when I want to give the floors a quick clean  Show details

Purchased in 2016! Still going strong – Great little vacuum for the price of $190!! Suction is very reasonable for a cordless of ~ 20 min power time. Light, relatively quiet, and very easy to manoeuvre! It has some LED lights at the suction head also to help where there is poor light. Definitely worth buying compared to the expensive Dyson model!  Show details

Talk about making life easier! – Bought this cordless upright stick cleaner because I was so sick of dragging around a heavy traditional vacuum cleaner that kept bumping into things and the cords never being long enough. Beware – The Battery life is about 2yrs and is not covered by the Manufacturers Warranty, also if you buy from Good Guys, is not covered by their Concierge extended warranty. The battery is contained in the detachable hand held unit and you have to buy that complete unit which costs $154. You can buy a complete new machine for about $149. Won't be buying a vacuum similar to this again.  Show details

Rubbish, battery does not hold charge just outside of warranty – Not happy at all with this product. Does not hold charge and is just out of 2 year warranty. "Take it to a service centre for repairs at your own costs".  Show details

Easy to use – Bought this 3 weeks ago. works really on the tiles. Cordless is a win. Save me so much time to clean the floor. it is ok for carpet. But can be better. Tried to used the handset to vacuum my car, but it wasn't quite satisfying. Battery life is good. But for some reason it loses power itself if you don't use it for a few days.  Show details

Great stick vac - perfect for a quick clean up – Bought this on a whim as I was walked past it on special - so glad I did. Having owned numerous stick vacuum cleaners in the past, I am happy with the performance of this little number. It was easy to assemble, charged well and is perfect for doing a quick clean up of the kitchen or tiled living areas. I use it when I don't want to bother… Read more

pulling out the Dyson or vacmaid...it seems to pick up most debris and the handvac is perfect for doing under the lounge cushions. Stays charged to do the two living areas, kitchen and dining area - and still running. It also has a 'quiet' mode which is also less powerful if need be. There is also a light, which I suppose is handy for seeing what is under the lounge suite etc. All up, very happy with my Ergorapido 10.8V two in one stick vacuum - especially the price.

Dud vacuum cleaner – My grandmother bought this vacuum cleaner a couple of years ago because she was finding it difficult to use the bigger one she had.Whilst it worked well initially it suddenly stopped working and appears the battery won't charge. From other reviews here, this seems to be a typical problem with this model. Given that it wasn't that cheap to purchase, I would have expected more from an Electrolux product. Should have bought a Dyson.  Show details

Disappointed. Battery not holding charge – We had this machine just on 2 years and were very pleased with the performance and ease of use... We have a mix of carpet and tiles in a 2 bed unit and it was perfect for the job... Amazing aftersales service..

Loved this machine...but..Battery died within 2 years. [See my previous review]

From this Product Review site Electrolux contacted me and endeavoured to identify the problem over the phone...

They sent out a complete charger and after that did not work they have sent out a replacement motor /battery assembly...It came in a couple of days via express post...

Problem solved thanks Zaida.... Above and beyond...

Highly recommend this company for its after sales service!!

The rollers under the head piece broke quickly and when I rang they said they would replace but neve – Was happy when it worked. Was light and easy to use especially under beds. Used on Tile floors only and it stored easily in my linen cupboard. Was disappointed when the rollers broke and I couldnt use it any more. They said they would replace the head but I never ever got the replacement.  Show details

Electrolux Ergorapido 2 in 1 - ZB3012 not charging correctly, now run time very short – I received the ZB3012 as a gift and it worked great for 12 months, then suddenly the topmost LED charge light would not illuminate when the unit was on charge (only bottom 3 lights illuminate in sequence during charging)-= I just assumed the LED might have "blown" as the unit was still charging, however the run duration was noticeably shorter,… Read more

albeit still adequate.

3 months ago, the unit finally gave up and only runs for 2 mins max before requiring a recharge. This is appalling performance for a unit that cost almost $200. I finally located the warranty from the person who provided this unit as a gift. It is still in warranty, It was purchased from The Good Guys Essendon in Dec 2015, and contacting them for service has been a matter of buck passing. I contacted Electrolux directly via email and phone with no assistance so far.

I have always kept this units' filters cleaned and empty it after every use, so it has not been mistreated and has had light use only. I can see from the associated posts I am not the only one experiencing issues with this unit. Can anyone advise?

Very disappointed – Was happy with the vacuum for a start but diapointed that the battery doesn't hold its charge for long. I've had it since January 2016. It's mainly used on carpet floors & I used to get 20-25 min vacuuming but now only get 10-15 min at most. It's the 2nd one I've had but the 1st one was a different model.  Show details

Works well on carpet and floor – Small house carpets and tiles. Hallway, kitchen, lounge, bedroom bathroom dust insects Emties out well, has spring loaded dirt ejector, I blow it out with ozito blower, and shake outside. The switch on the remote lower part failed, so I turn it on with the upper handle switch then detach the portable part. So easy to use – We bought our electrolux ergorapido sick vacuum for half price at a Harvey Norman end of year sale 18 months ago and couldn't be happier. Battery life good. Filter and dust capacity too small – Easy to move around but suction was be tad weak once the dust starts to fill the container. Good vacuum cleaner with sufficient battery life – Yes it isn't as good as the ones you get for Dyson, but for the price you're paying for, I think it's worth the compromise. Good suction and sufficient battery life for the whole unit, and the cordless function makes it a lot easier to manoeuvre around the housing unit.  Show details

Life is too short! – Unit did a great job for about 15 months and you could not fault it. It was about then that battery life began to rapidly shorten. be purchased so I took it to the local Electrolux dealer in March 2017 and paid a $55 service fee. They had it for a week and quoted me more than I paid for the complete new machine, saying that the whole handheld piece needs to be replaced as batteries are not replaceable. I rejected the quote and continued to use the machine until it died completely in April still with 4 months left in the warranty period.

Just as well this product has been discontinued – We bought this product on 14 September 2014 and it performed really well, until about 4 weeks ago. Then it would only run for a minute or so and cut out. We had looked after it impeccably and so we were very surprised. I called Electrolux and learned it was out of Warranty because the warranty was for 2 years. They directed me to a service centre.… Read more

I contacted 2 repair centres and learned from both of them that this product is renowned for the battery failing at around the 2 year mark. Our problem is also the battery. And unfortunately the battery is within the handset, and its soldered in and very hard to get at and replace. I was told it's best to either buy a complete new handset at $170!!! or else replace the whole thing, i.e. buy a new one....unbelievable that Electrolux could have foisted this lemon of a product on to the market. Unfortunately, when ours was new and we were impressed, I persuaded 2 relatives, one being my aged aunt to buy one each. When theirs fail, which they will do shortly based on everything I've heard and my own experience, my aunt in particular will be very upset as she is on the Age Pension. It doesn't make sense to spend $170 on a replacement handset because as one service man said - "who knows - another part such as the charging unit might pack up next". So we have no choice but to replace this entire lemon. Electrolux has been making vacuum cleaners for a huge number of years - how is it that they couldn't design and manufacture this product properly? For sure we won't be buying another Electrolux product.

Terrible investment – I bought mine in January 2015 & by December 2015 it had an electrical fault, so it was replaced under warranty in January 2016. By January 2017 I noticed the battery life was getting shorter & shorter until now when it will scarcely last 5 minutes, straight off the charger. brilliantly ever since. Its basically a new machine now and works like one. I find its good for all light work. I use a bigger unit for some parts of the house.

I dont like the hand unit so much as the end isnt the right shape. I find it a bit awkward, its too square or something.

I would buy one again.
