buy another make – did work on carpet and vinyl and tiles but only for very short time. No power therefore no suction after being on charger overnight. Very disappointed and would recommend all to look at another make Show details

Worst Battery Life Ever. Got rid of for $5 after 6 months – I bought this thinking it would do a great job on my tiled apartment. I was wrong. The battery would only have "half Decent" suction for 5 minutes - Then it would quickly die. It spent more time flicking things across the floor instead of picking them up. A poor turbo head design.

Rubbish Model ZB2821 – This item demoed great in the shop (everyone used them they were so simple) Haven't used mine for months. Vacuum isn't that great and the battery does not last that long. Now, it doesn't charge at all. Would not purchase Electrolux again. Chose it over others for ease of use and admittedly it is easy but if it doesn't work...

Lemon - Should have bought the Dyson – On paper this vacuum should have been exactly what I needed, it was light, it had the separate handheld, it was bagless, it was cordless.... but in reality it just didn't work. The charge initially lasted maybe 20-30 minutes, but that soon dwindled to 5 minutes at best. The ergo rubbery hand grip sections sort of began to 'melt' and go sticky. But… Read more

worst of all it just doesn't vacuum very well. We ended up taking out the rotating roller section (so that it was just sucking like a typical vacuum head) because as soon as it got ANYTHING in the roller it would stop and scratch our timber floors (the tolerances are so tight it could literally be a bit of fluff or hair and it would stop working). It also has a weird conical filter which is very hard to clean and ends up getting dirt and dust all over you. So now we're left with a vacuum that doesn't vacuum, a handheld you cant hold due to sticky melting handle, a bagless section that goes everywhere and cordless that doesn't ever have any charge. Sounds good, doesn't it? On the upside, it is still light.

What a fantastic appliance this is.... good one Electrolux! – I had a Kambrook dust-buster but it never sucked very well and was basically a big disappointment from day dot but because I had paid good money for it, I persevered with it for a year until one day I realised that I never used it (because it was so useless) & that it was time to admit I had wasted my money and move on. Electrolux ergorapido plus lithium 2 in 1 Cordless on sale and being 18 volt I thought it might perform better.... plus I have always loved the performance of Electrolux products. They may cost a little more but you just can't beat the Germans for craftsmanship so it's worth every cent.

We have 2 Rottweilers who sleep in the laundry every night and every morning I have to sweep up all their black hair. This was always a real chore but when I put the new Electrolux ergorapido to work on it, WOW it is just fabulous! It has made my life soooo much easier and the Dust-Buster part of it is powerful enough to touch up the carpet in my car (which the old Kambrook never did).

I also do a quick touch up my floors regularly with this wonderful little vacuum which has halved how often I need to do a complete vacuum & mop. It really has saved me so much time and I just love it! Performance, powerful suction, the long lasting battery, the design / style, ease of use & convenience Nothing!

Worth every penny – I bought this for a dollar from fleabay was expecting bad things because of what was written above but so far have found that even though it is over a year old and well used it lasts more than 15min on a full charge still which is plenty for me, and it really does vacuum well, although you do have to empty the catcher more often (since its smaller… Read more ·  2

than a normal one) but this is such a cool vacuum you can just unclip the 'dustbuster' part and use it around the edges..

Also someone else said 'its basically just a dustbuster on a stick'.. well yeah it is, except ive owned a black&decker 'DUSTBUSTER" before which was useless, this thing is like a monster truck of dustbusters and it Actually works well for sucking up the rubbish, so even though Yes it is 'basically' just a dustbuster on a stick, I fail to see how this is a Bad thing at all since it preforms just like another vacuum..

Also dont expect gofreys to be picking up bowling balls with this its not a super suction machine, I would say it would be best to 'compliment' another strong vacuum, where you can just use this one quickly every other day, and use your super sucker to do the house thouroughly once a month or so...

Batteries are supposed to be replaceable, I am fairly confident that if and when my one dies I will open it up and find I will be able to replace it with a rechargable lippo from ebay for $5 or so not sure why others are too worried about the battery after all its 'Just a 12v Battery'. Find one that fits and jam it in there how hard is that..haha light weight, holds a good charge, good suction hair easily stuck around the swivel / spinning thing in the head (although its like this on all others), quickly filled with dirt & dust.

Good, with certain limitations – Be prepared to empty the dust container after each use and do it outdoors and over the garbage bin. Ergorapido is very efficient at picking up dust and fluff but it is a messy job emptying the container and cleaning the integral dust filter. Our 18v. model lasts for about 25 minutes on half power and 15 on full suction power.

Poor suction – we have to keep it permanently in charge to expect 6-7 min of vacuuming which is really poor especially when the suction power is not optimal. Even after cleaning the filter. Device switches off constantly – I have purchased 4 ergorapido's over the last 4 or 5 years starting with to 9 volt model and now have the 18 volt version. I obviously like the convenience and they work well judging by the amount of emptying I have to do. However, the last two models both cut out after the device gets warm through a few minutes use. I guess something in the electronics goes wrong when warm. I now have three ergorapido's all less than 3 years old. I bought the last one with a 5 year replacement warranty and I am expecting to use it!

Are we talking about the same machine? – I bought this model in 2008 following a back injury and haven't had any of the problems mentioned below (touch wood). I use it for a quick run round on tiles and vinyl - have long haired cat and live in a sandy area. I also use it for the stairs as my main vacuum is too heavy and the hose isn't long enough. I only charge it up overnight before I… Read more

use it. I have two problems with it just now (see below) and am surfing the net to see if it is cost effective to fix. Light weight, manoeverable, love that it is also a dust buster, practical and easy to use. The dust buster swtich wont work any more so I can use that separately and the hatch cover (#17 on diagram) holding in the brush has broken off and accidentally ben thrown awayso the brush falls out. Doesn't like thick pile rugs.

Absolute rip off, do not buy any electrolux product – Battery doesn't last 5 mins and you have to charge it 2-4 hours, very disappointing and a rip off and very expensive, please buy other ones. Charger stops working sometimes. such a crappy company. Suction isn't even good. It's very small too, when you take out the rubbish, it makes a big mess so try and do it outside. Battery, suction, broken charger, very expensive

This product is a rip off – I got my replacement Ergo 7 months ago. second one, are doing the same as the first one and are no longer holding the charge.  I'm no longer covered by warranty and am going to have to either get another one, rather reluctant to do so, or get spare parts which are half the cost of a new one, definitely not doing that. I'm not impressed at all with the life span of the Ergo, which is too bad because it is otherwise an awesome little vacuum. Convenient Life span is rubbish

Waste of money – Terriby disappointed with this product. Since Ithe day I bought it I have it on charge 24x7 and it cannot last for more than 2 minutes. Will not pick crumbs up off floor as it loses suction very quickly. I'm ired of purchasing battery charged vacuums they are not worth the money. Portable Doesnt hold charge

Wish I chose something else for my birthday present! – We spent the extra money and got the plus model, 10 months later it is broken and won't be fixed under warranty because apparently water and dust (are you not meant to use a vacuum for dust!?) got in the motor which blew the battery. food like rice or maybe the bathroom (never deliberately went over water in there). I think we used it as a normal person would, e.g. want to vacuum hair from the bathroom, and it turns out that its not good enough to cope with that. The repair guy told me that normal vacuums get hot enough to evaporate moisture in use, but these don't which is why this happens. Light, portable, was handy to do quick jobs. Expensive to not last 12 months, not durable.

Great product ,great service,2nd stick vacuum ur motorhome – This is our 2nd vacuum in 6years . We have been happy with our last vacuum and bought a new ergorapido 2 in 1 on line and received great service and delivery time. The new product seems to work great and only time will tell. I hope we get another 6 years with the new product .The old vacuum still working but charging unit stopped working. Works well in our motorhome.

Great for quick clean – I brought my ergo rapido through recommendation from an occupational therapist, unfortunately I have only had it for less than 12months and battery life and suction is limited, which is frustrating. Great for kids – I have a one year old son and this was great to chase after him with although it was not worth it's price. It spends all night on charge for only 15 minutes worth of work which means it couldn't replace a normal vaccumm and for a single mother on a budget this is disappointing as you couldn't afford to buy multiple products. Good for kids. Expensive for something that doesn't work to well.

It's a rechargeable vacuum, not a main vacuum. It is designed to do the quick run arounds during the day... Not be the ONLY vacuum you ever use.

terrible! waste of money - a broom is more effective! – The biggest waste of money! advised in Goodguys that this would do the job - Purchased for spot office cleaning, it doesnt have enough suction for breadcrumbs. We actually prefer to use the broom as this machine just spreads the dust and crumbs around the room. Buy a dyson if you want something that actually works. its light No suction! Spreads the dust around the floor.

Terrible – It doesn't work on carpets, the charge lasts about 10 minutes and it took less than that amount of time for me to regret my purchase.
