Electrolux Robot Vacs not upto standard – Almost Useless! Gets stuck, falls off the step, get stuck on simple things the other vac does not.

Not good! – I left this review with the Electrolux site which has a 5 star rating...my review hasn't appeared. Bought the machine yesterday to replace a previous LG Roboking which worked for years until the docking station gave up and couldn't be replaced...hence purchasing this Electrolux EFR31223. Our lounge floor has wood and fixed rugs; the latter seemed to bamboozle the device such that it kept returning to the same spot over and over. As well, it sucks rubbish but then spits it out again...really! After re-charging, moved to the kitchen where it travelled the walls over and over until it needed to re-charge. I presume that is "edge cleaning"? Why doesn't it resume full room (or re-charge) once it has done a couple of circuits? While writing this review, I've had it in the kitchen whereIt thumps into the furniture/fridge/dishwasher and has followed the same path at least 8 times. ...in frustration I stopped it and moved it into a different position and now it is functioning as expected...still running into things, though. There are no detailed instructions, just basic illustrations. I am really disappointed because Electrolux is usually a good product. I will probably be returning it today if it doesn't improve.
