Was advertised as having onboard tool storage. What a freaking lie! It arrived today. No onboard tool storage. This was my biggest requirement being that I live in a tiny place with no storage. Hope your lying crappy Australian company goes under...

I bought this vacuum 2 weeks ago and can't believe how good it is. My Dyson broke so needed something on a budget. Well all I can say is WOW. The suction is so powerful. Way more powerful than my Dyson. It goes from carpet to hard floors with ease. And the pet hair it picks up.. soo good!
Purchased in for $349.

Electrolux Dilemma – I had to give this product one star to get on board! This Electrolux Ultimate Home 700 model EFC71622GG bagless Is the biggest piece of rubbish I have ever owned! Mine burnt out after about 13 months of very little use. We have a High end robot cleaner and that does all the floors in our home. The only thing this Electrolux cleaner did about 6 times in the year I have owned it was window sills, skirtings and wall dust it was never used on the floors. after 13 months it burnt out. I thought that's ok its under Warranty still. I warn people that live in rural or regional areas to make sure there is a repair agent in your area or you will be going the hell I am going through. In my case there was an agent who dropped Electrolux simply because of their demands and the fact they were not paying the agent enough! I pleaded with this agent and because my cleaner was still looking like brand new they agreed to take the warranty repair on as a one off. After 2 months I now have back in my possession a burnt out Electrolux cleaner. The agent was very apologetic and claimed that Electrolux was making repair demands that were ridiculous and again stated "they don't pay me enough to be messed around like this" the agent also stated we do a lot of warranty repairs but there are 2 companies they wont touch and Electrolux are one of them. I have told Electrolux the motor is burnt out, the repair agent has told Electrolux the motor is burnt out and yet they still make demands to fix it! how the hell do you repair a burnt out motor, the item is not worth repairing the motor is burnt out. So here I am stuck with a rather expensive piece of equipment we have hardly used and now after over 500 dollars out of pocket I have to purchase another cleaner while I still have warranty until the 7th month 2025! I am going to contact Electrolux one more time and give them the chance to honour their product and not have me drive 200 kilometres to Pakenham, even the latrobe valley is a 100 kilometres drive. I am now challenging Electrolux to honour their warranty conditions and not make me the meat in the sandwich due to their problems with agents! btw Electrolux have not contacted me at all since I registered my warranty claim with them. I will be fair, I will post my outcome when I contact Electrolux again no matter what way this works out. One thing for sure I am not running all over the countryside for this repair, even the agent who dropped Electrolux was a 40 kilometre round trip. Open your wallet Electrolux and freight my product somewhere for evaluation and warranty repair!
This is a sincere review for my product and dilemmas and I standby all I have posted because it is all true. Pete East Gippsland 3875
Hi Julie, long time responding because I am still upset at all the hoops and hurdles I have been placed through. I feel it suks that I could not get my warranty honoured because I live in a regional area and the tradesmen in Bairnsdale dumped Electrolux because quote "Electrolux do not pay enough for the labour and repair required". I have decided to scrap and bought a high mounted moter stick vacuum from Kmart that works like a dream fot $110 if electrolux would like to cover the freight costs I will donate your vacuum cleaner back to you. Without prejudice, Pete
Love the Electrolux UltimateHome 700 vacuum cleaner – I want to buy a cheap vaccum cleaner to support my Dyson stick vacuum as it only lasts about 20 minutes and to get into difficult spots that the Dyson can’t. I did not want to spend more than $300. I saw the UltimateHome 700 at the Good Guys. The vaccum looks cheap and nasty but don’t let that fools you. Instead of using my Dyson, I made the decision to try out the new vaccum cleaner and I was surprise and shock how much dirt was in the dust bin.
Best investment I ever made.
