Electrolux JetMaxx ZJM6840

Best vacuum cleaner I have ever had for the price – I have had a variety of vacuum cleaners over the years - Tellus, Wadvark, and others but value for money this is the best. Consumer NZ didn't rate it highly, but I used a friends and was very impressed. I bought one, i bought one for my daughter, one for my son and one for an elderly lady who was housebound. Our other son bought one, not knowing we all had the same one. Suction is good, until the bag is fill (red indicator on outside), it is easy to change the bag, the cord is a little short for our house (our problem, not the Jetmaxx), quiet to use compared to others, far better than a friend's new Hoover I tried out at home. I bought ours about 6 years ago, not sure if they are still available. Great value for money, Wadvark was $1600 on special 20 years ago, Tellus was about $800 32 years ago. If you see one, buy it!

This Vac is extremely good value for money – THe ZJM6840 is extremely effective at what it does and has already reduced the sneezing and runny noses in our household . It tackles dusty areas thoroughly which with the previous machine had to be concentrated on and is quick and efficient to clean out /empty. I see that spares are easily obtained and are reasonable to buy. Very much better than the (still fuctioning) Hoover- Quieter and a pleasure to use...
