Electus INOX-MX3 Lubricant

This is good stuff – I was put onto this stuff by the local fishing shop for use on fishing reels. I then started using it on other equipment as well. I was amazed how well this stuff works and how long it lasts. The best example is my garage door rollers were rusted and you could barely move the sliding door. I thought that I would need to replace the rollers but thought I would try giving the track and rollers a squirt of the Inox MX3 and see if it would free it up a little bit and defer replacement of the rollers. To my amazement, I can now open and close the roller door effortlessly with my little finger compared to having to lean on it with all my body weight to open it before. It has been working effortlessly now for many months. I am very impressed.
INOX MX3I sprayed INOX MX3 lubricant on worn door bottom tracks and one spray of the tracks have kep – I sprayed INOX MX3 lubricant on worn door bottom tracks and one spray of the tracks have kept the doors sliding smoothly for 6 weeks whereas I have used other brands over the years and have to keep spraying the door tracks weekly with these other brands. It doesn't seem to clog up in the tracks. INOX MX3 is a bit more expensive than a lot of the other brands but like everything else in life....you get what you pay for. I will keep using INOX MX3 for all my future needs. Recommend highly.
Tried, tested and completely trusted! – I've been using the Inox fleet of products since early 2000's - be it the Inox oil, the Lannox oil or the greases that contain Teflon. I use the Inox MX3 oil primarily for all my fishing reel servicing, I purchase the Inox oils in the 5 litre bottles and decant them into drip bottles and have found that these will last me many many many years! I have used it to unfreeze parts from other peoples neglect and found that it completely retards any further corrosion with any anodic reactions.
Inox MX5 oil (with PTFE) is a product that lasts and lasts when applied to mechanical situations, it seems to stick to the area that it is applied and will not degrade or thin out and disappear unlike other oils - most likely as it is Teflon impregnated which makes reels feel so much smoother!
Inox with Lanolin or 'Lannox' is a fantastic product as the added benefit of Lanolin helps fight corrosion in salty environments, the Lanolin is completely acid resistant and chemical resistant. I tend to use this allot around the car and especially on the car battery terminals - where I have never had any form of corrosion build up - the terminals have always remained 'blue' and clean. I also find that the car's bolts that are applied with this oil are retaining their shine 7 years after the cars purchase - which is surprising as I live close to the ocean on the Goldy.
Inox's greases especially the MX8 is such a good product I swear by it!!! I have used these many times in the past and they work very well on fishing gear! The small tubes of grease are so handy and I carry one of these in the car, one in my fishing bag and another in the house for 'just in case'. I have had to do some field servicing on my reels and find that having a tube of this is so much easier to apply to a reels parts, than carrying a tub of grease which can become contaminated easily if the wind blows or is dropped or using your dirty fingers to apply it. These greases do not fling or melt and adhere to the gear teeth very well - I find that I am continually getting about a year of faithful service before I have to service a reel that is applied with the MX8 grease (some other reels like other thicker greases) - I try not to go past that yearly service interval due to respect for my fishing gear.
I have also used Inox to protect my many folding knives, static knives and Leatherman tools. I service these yearly also and apply a small amount of grease and the MX5 oil's to their moving parts and find that they work smoother and suffer less wear than them working against each other 'dry' - so much so that they dont need to be continually sent into Zen Imports to be re-tightened yearly or so.
Nothing short of talking about the Inox product for hours about its benefits, I can safely say that anyone that uses the stuff is never going to be disappointed "ever"! And as "JustinLee904" said it can be used to polish stainless steel and other surfaces without any worry of it stripping manufacturers protective films or coatings! Cheap, readily sourced, great protection, easy to apply Wish I could get more of the stuff and the other stock lines to try!!
Best I've found – Awesome lubricant and penetrating agent. Worked better than anything I've found so far. Keeps lubricating when other products I'd tried and wore off. I use it for everything from polishing stainless to my fishing gear. Anywhere you need a lubricant or a water displacing agent. And it's non-toxic. After putting it to the test, I'm impressed. Works great and stands up better than anything else I've found on the market.
