waste of time they were all trained liars one would say something which the other would disagree. Leaving numerous amount of messages to talk to the owner no response or call back from anyone. Trying to talk to the owner [name removed] he was never in the office or available to answer any questions, after complaining they said I had to wait another 3 to 5 months, I disagreed and asked for my deposit back they refused. After talking to FAIR TRADING they new about this company and the owner. They could not help me either. I was asked to take LEGAL action. Do not use this company at all they are a big fraud.

DO NOT USE THEM - PAY THE EXTRA – If I could I would give a minus 10 rating. Like all other stories on this company , mine is the same. $300.00 to get real professionals to do the job. The plantations shutters were not installed correctly & I was told that , that is how it is. They did not try to fix or anything. 10 year guarantee - what a farce. As soon as I mentioned the company's name to Fair Trading , they knew all about the company & the complaint I was going to make. The company should not only be closed but a substantial fine imposed on all the owner/s.

promises made and complete under delivery or actually, non delivery. You call, no one answers, no one calls you back if you manage to speak to someone, you speak to [name removed] and get told complete lies; tomorrow and next week never comes, the boat is always late etc etc. The funniest one was being told after three months they had no record of my order and could I tell him again what it was for. The best thing for me is that after four months, I never received my order at all. At least I didn't have to deal with sub standard products or workmanship.

I too went to Fair Trading who are absolutely useless. Fortunately for myself I had paid my deposit on my credit card. You then lodge a disputed transaction with your credit card company, they will investigate and I ultimately got my money back. On top of that, which is what you all need to do, is lodge an Application with NCAT (NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal) on what your issue is; undelivered orders, broken and damaged products, faulty service etc. I went to NCAT for my hearing and guess what, [name removed] never appeared for the hearing. What a surprise. NCAT make legally enforceable orders that then allow you to engage the local court to have a Sheriff recover your money or have your items fixed or replaced as per the terms of your order. This thief needs to be stopped and the only way he will be stopped is through the legal channels available to us as consumers.

Some of the people on here say that the business is closed down. It is not closed, [name removed] has a warehouse/office two doors up from his shopfront, he also operates another blinds business from the same premises. He is in constant hiding and on top of that, his business is still registered with ASIC. He continues to trade and continues to rip unsuspecting people off of their money.

As we all say here, DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this company.

They sent out a salesman who made us feel very comfortable and assured us that we would have a 10 year warranty. were fitted, one section of blades broke so that we have to close 3 blades individually. I contacted the company immediately and sent photographs of both faults. I phoned the company repeatedly and was always given a promise that someone would come out to rectify the problems. My brother in law visited their factory twice and was promised that they would come and fix the shutters. Fair Trading who were of no help and said they have lots of complaints about Elite Blinds and Shutters but in the end were unable to help us as the company refused to deal with Fair Trading and ignored them. 9 months later we are left with unprofessionally work and shutters that don't work as they should. This has been very distressing for my elderly mother. Deal with this company at your peril and know that you will have no redress if anything goes wrong.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE – I like most others have had nothing but a bad experience from this mob, I echo all the bad comments from other dissatisfied people who have been conned. He promised us that he will do installation and then take rest of the payment. But now he is asking for full payment before installation.we found recently their office is closed as they owe lot of money to premises they had office lease and to supplier of their shutters. Stay Away From This Company – After reading the unfavourable reports on this company the people who gave them 5 stars either gave false reports not verified reports or were extremely lucky to get good service. will not be able to deliver before mid-April. I was still alright, because atleast it will come soon. End of April I got finally got a call that they will come and install in 2nd week of May. But, on the day of installation I got a call that the installer has called in sick so they have to reschedule. They said that someone will come back to me to reschedule it, but till now no one has called back, it's been 3 days. I called them again and they said that someone will come back to me by end of today, but again no response. Their site says that they open till 6pm, but at 5pm, no one is picking up calls. Very very poor customer service and worst management I have ever seen from a reputed firm. I hope my money is not lost in vain and they install my blinds and shutters. Dissatisfied and unhappy customer – 14 weeks to delivery and installation after paying the deposit and turned out the wrong color and poorly installed. Called the salesperson to inspect the installed shutters, agreed to compensate me and get the installer to fix the issue, Its been 2 weeks since the meeting, never returned my calls and responded to my messages. Good honest service – Ordered plantation shutters late November 2017 was told they would be ready mid Jan 2018. Picked them up today 17th Jan installed them this afternoon everything as ordered. I will be definitely coming back, good price and good service.

Excellent work by Elite Blinds and shutters – Today I had my plantation shutters Installed by Elite blinds . They are looking great it was great experience dealing with this company . From order to completion I'm very satisfied .

Shutters and Outdoor Awmings – I was anxiously waiting for my outdoor awnings and plantation shutters. After a wait of 5 months, it turned out to be a big stuff up where the sizes are incorrect and quality is poor. were supposed to come out for delivery of these and haven't turned up. Rang me to say they could come out on Sat and measure! (I don't need measurements - I need delivery). Tradeperson said nothing on his paperwork so he was not aware that he was supposed to deliver and not measure. This company is AWFUL - do not go with them. They will stuff you around. They don't seem to have a clue as to what they are doing.
