i was given a Emilia EDW62SS Freestanding Dishwasher 1 year ago as a house warming gift. we have had non stop issues with it after a few months. my dishwasher does not seem to be draining away there is about 4cm of water constantly sitting on the bottom of the dishwasher, i have reset it, pulled out all my drainage pipes thinking there was a block (which there wasn't). put drain cleaner down my sinks with no luck. whenever i turn the dishwasher on there is a consistent humming noise. (had it going for 2 hrs last night thinking it was trying to pump the water out but its not its just noisy and doing nothing). i am quite annoyed that a dishwaher has lasted 1 year with all these issues constantly happening. surely something so costly should last longer and not have as many hassles, anyone know why its not emptying and what i can do?

I have a similar issue. It is new this year but I have been away just over 4 months. No one used it in that time, though I did have family at the house here and there. The cycle hums, then after a while, it beeps and the light shifts to the '30 min cycle'. I have done this a few times, and now there is water filling up in the base. The filters are clean, there is no blockage, there is no reason for draining pipes to be twisted, I can't get the dishwasher out fully, so no one has been messing with that.
The manual does not cover the issue of flashing light, though I have just read there are several other questions of the same issue. It seems the manual and/or Emilia should have this issue covered, so we can at least try to resolve it. Very unhappy. I even recommended this machine to a friend, now I wish I hadn't.

[Written by hubby] My EDW61SS wont drain/pump out. Was working fine for a couple of years then this problem occurred. Rapid light flashes and beeping sound emitted. Took machine down to my shed and hooked everything up down there with machine 1 meter off the ground. cleaned out all filters, drain hose, pump housing etc. No blockages and water will self drain fine if all of the drain hose is below base of machine. Removed pump out and hooked it up to external power supply (don't try this at home without elec/tech exp) and the pump works fine. Tested pressure switch, it works too, adjusted switch so even less pressure required to activate and pump still wont work, assume no power getting to it. Guessing its a mother board / sequence issue? Any ideas?

Press the power button on and selects its own cycle the normal it starts to flash and make beeping noise. But sounds like no water getting pump through. Any help?

Won't let me select a dish washing program. Just stays on the middle one. But when I press start nothing happens. Then it just beeps every few seconds. Any ideas?

We have a EDW61SS which has stopped draining, it flashes the light in the centre of the three on the right side & beeps about 30 times. We have the hoses in a channel under the island bench & they are straight. The sink is draining fine & the filters are clean. any suggestions
Hi Paul I'm sorry I can't help you with this problem. I only had my dishwasher for a week as I was unhappy with it.
No worries, we fixed it by putting baking soda & vinegar down the outlet & then running it thru a rinse cycle. all ok now!

We also have this problem. Have cleared drain hose blockage and restarted machine only for it to occur immediately in test run. Water won't drain out. Any ideas?

Same issue, customer service is one person who just suggested different repairers.
