Excellent quality pram in all respects – This really is a fantastic pram. I'm now using it for baby number 2 and it's stil in excellent condition. In fact, when I dropped it off for a 'service' before baby number 2 was born, the service provider thought it was a new pram! This is testament to the build and fabric quality. If you are looking for excellent build/fabric quality and old-fashioned style, then this pram may be for you. On the other hand, if you're after a pram that is lightweight and folds up compactly, then I would recommend you look at other prams. It's not cheap so be sure what you're after...see below.

Overall, I give this pram 4.5 stars out of 5. The only reason I don't give it a perfect 5 is because the pram really is heavy. If you think this will bother you, then you may find yourself buying a lightweight stroller/pram way before the useful life of the Emmaljunga is over... Extremely reliable and stylish. Build quality and fabric quality is exceptional. I have removed the fabric from the pram and washed it in the washing machine (even though you're supposed to hand wash) and this has had no effect on the fabric pattern or seams whatsoever. You can ride over any terrain as the pram has amazing suspension and it is adjustable (low, medium and high) - I have pushed numerous prams (friends/family) and NOTHING compares to the Emmaljunga when it comes to suspension...which makes me think it must be an extremely comfortable ride for the baby. The pram also grows with the child. There's plenty of room in the seat for a growing toddler, although it's probably a bit big for a little newborn. For my children, I purchased the Valco cocoon and used this instead of the Emmaljunga bassinet (which was an additional and expensive cost and can only be used for a few months before bubs grows out of it). The cocoon worked a treat, particularly in winter, and only cost around $70 or $80. Heavy, big and bulky. Forget about it if you have a small car and plan on carting this pram around. Also difficult to maneouvre in a shopping centre compared to prams with rotating wheels and frog legs. But on the flipside, it's great exercise pushing a heavy pram around, especially if you have excess kilos to shed!

Terrible – Can any one tell me why the safety latch is not under the manufacturer's guarantee. This is meant to be the Rolls Royce of strollers, warranty should cover the whole pram. Baby can be facing forward or backward Safety latch is not under the guarantee even though the pram costs more than a 2nd hand car. This should be guaranteed for at least a year because obviously they are not willing to guarantee this safety latch as there is a problem with it.

Excellent – Very good all round pram, quality is high (each pram is hand made), costs more than some other prams but its worth the investment & peace of mind. Stylish looking pram, well built, sturdy and stable. Emmaljunga is Swedish and the City Cross is the most popular model, you see them everywhere (I live for some time in Sweden where I first came across the brand). We have the Combi version which is seat that lies flat with a lift. Action is very smooth and stable over rough ground, cobbles, snow is no problem. I very much like the solid tyres, no punctures or flats to worry about and since we travel a fair amount I don't have to let down the tyres (for international flights). The pram is very easy to fold down, reverse the seat and make other adjustments. All in all this was our first choice pram and even though it costs a little more it was well worth the investment. The pram is very well balanced so steering is quite easy even though the front wheels are fixed (which is good for rough and sloping ground). Its hard to fault, its just a good pram. Compared to a smaller, light weight pram it's probably heavy, but neither of us have any problems getting around, and the extra stability and solidness of the stroller is comforting - this pram is not about to fall apart any time soon.

Excellent – Absolutely fantastic pram. We would buy it again in a heartbeat. Our son loves it. It gives you great confidence to know your child is in such a safe, sturdy quality pram. Silent & sturdy. This is an awesome pram. It is super quiet when pushing it, no rattles or squeaks whatsoever. It comes with everything you need, storm cover, sun/insect cover that drops down. Faces either direction & can be changed in seconds. Has a zipped flap that clips back so you can see your child when the seat is in the away facing position (the opening is covered with a see through mesh). The back reast & foot rest can be set to make the bottom completely flat, our son loved this for sleeping. It is pet safe as you can close the canopy down essetially making an 'igloo', subsequently animals cannot get in it with your baby. Has excellent ventilation if needed, we were able to keep or baby out of the sun & cool on hot days. The seat back can be set in different levels of recline, which was handy for a tired baby that also wanted to see out as it meant he could comfortably fall asleep. Has fantastic suspension that has 3 levels of adjustment for stiffness so as you child grows you can adjust it accordingly. The high density foam tyres are great, I can't tell you how many times I have pulled thorns out of them & thanked god they weren't pneumatic (I have fixed so many punctures in friends prams). It is extremely easy to fold, and has the advatange of being usable in it's folded position, it just brings the seat section down to the base. This was great if when we went to events in parks etc as our son was in comfort without impeding the views of others. If you live in a hilly area it is fanstic as it always wants to go/track straight ahead (unless you want to turn it), I cannot praise this enough as I have pushed prams on side inclines & you soon get sick of having to counter steer a pram just to go straight ahead. It is easy to steer even though the front wheels don't move, as it is counter balanced beautifully. You can also get the attachment for a toddler seat if you have a second baby (so you can take them both in it), the attachment is well thought out & doesn't change the balance of the pram. The atachement is also also reasonably priced. Importantly this is the most stable pram we have yet to come accross and it also has the best/easiest to use braking system we have seen. It is extremely user friendly. It is a very stylish looking pram & we always get comments about it. We also have a Steelcraft Strider & whilst it is very good, when comparing it to the Emmaljunga it is not even in the same league. I cannot deny that it is not light, although it is not THAT heavy. I am an 80kg male and it is quite easy for me. It does take up some room when folded down so you will need a decent sized boot, I would try & fit it in your boot before you buy one. There really are no other cons.
