11yrs of protection! – I have approximately 65 square metres of deck and timber stairs. In the past 11 years I have recoated both about 11 times. These are the facts: The oil has built up considerably to a point that it now looks like painted timber. I am removing the oil from the timber so I have bare timber. What is interesting is how well and rich protected the timber. The timber still in great condition. As the coating comes off you can see very good quality beautiful timber underneath. Enrich has performed as a protective coating as well as any other expensive decking oil that I know of.

Deck oil and oil it is – I use Enrich all the time, I build with recycle or rough sawn and like texture and natural. This cheap oil is really good for coating onto bare timber, it sucks in and leaves a natural finish, it is what it is.

Enrich Deck And Exterior Timber Oil – Used on my large back deck. It went on easily after doing the appropriate preparation. The finish is golden and looks nice. I prefer it to the product I used on my front deck which was four times the price.

You get what you pay for – I bought this thinking surely there are only so many ways to make decking oil, and for the money there is not much to lose if it is no good. Unfortunately it really isn't very good. I would say it lasted about two months before water started penetrating the finish, therefore it is not really offering any protection at all. I guess if you recoated regularly it would kind of work, but then how often so you want to be re oiling. You would spend near as much as a more expensive product in the long run anyway, due to having to redo it so regularly. But hey, if you don't mind that I guess it would be passable. But as with paint, I really do think you get what you pay for. Have just redone it with intergrain ultradeck, it is like chalk and cheese. The intergrain product appears vastly superior in both appearance and quality. In my opinion it is worth just getting the right product first if possible. This stuff was worth a try but unless you are desperate I would steer clear.

Affordable effective Decking oil – My tradie friend introduced me this product back in 2017 when I was about to have necessity to oil the deck, but I used a professional tradie to complete the job. In March 2020, I had to do something for my deck where deck begin to crack and require oil immediately. Enrich was cheap but good option according to my friend, buninng worker discourage me however and didnt buy and came home. I looked up online and saw few good review and went back to bunnings and purchased in the afternoon. Cost is approx. 1/3 of the other brand, my experience is pretty good and I will recommend people who want the job done at cost effective. Timber absorb the oil quickly and look great. I am waiting for 24 hours and will oil them second time this afternoon.
