The head unit stopped working a bit after one year. I contacted Eonon, who deemed the unit "faulty" but refused to replace it under warranty and offered me a 25% discount instead, so I could go and buy another (bad) unit from them. No thank you, this is my first and last time using this company; I will buy my next head unit from a reputable brand that will actually warranty faulty units. Also be mindful that they are NOT trading under an Australian Business Number (ABN), so you have no recourse in Australia for their lack of regard and respect for Australian consumer laws.

I bought a UA13 in July 2024. It never worked as it should. Lots of back and forth with customer service which only ever fixed the multiple issues temporarily. Crashes constantly, reverse camera works about half the time, takes on average about 30 seconds just to turn on, listener barely hears driver on hands free (forget about passengers!). Multiple firmware and MCA updates and restore to factory (and after each time having to reinstall and log into apps and revert to previous settings). Finally had enough so I asked to upgrade to a higher spec model and provided all details included date of purchase. They made a reasonable offer of an upgrade plus the difference and started arranging return, then they retracted the offer because it was passed warranty. Offer was a mistake because they hadn’t read my email. Apologised and instructed me to buy a new one stating “we will do everything we can to secure the most generous discount possible”. Made an offer via the listing as instructed explaining the situation and history, and they counter offered with the list price!

Was hoping to save $ when I purchased. Now not sure what to do now with this useless head unit. Might have to spend big on a reputable brand which is what I should have done in the first place.

EONON X3 what an exceptional head unit – X3 what an exceptional head unit. At first I was hesitant, and I thought to myself what could be the worst that will happen. Given I have had Sony and top end brand head units that still didn’t work well. This head unit has not missed a beat and even with the wireless CarPlay. Honestly worth every cent. I will recommend this stereo to everyone

Eonon X3 - Linux Powered Headunit – Because I don't need the bells and whistles of an Android-based unit, I went for this X3 Linux-powered one. These guys are continuing the development of the software for the unit. They respond and keep in touch via email. I couldn't be any happier about my purchase. This is my first aftermarket stereo, and I'm recommending Eonon from now on to all my friends who want to upgrade their car's entertainment system

Worst customer service and after sales support – After purchasing an Eonon product, i had multiple problems. after speaking with the retailer i purchased from, they couldnt help solve the problems i was having and suggested discussing directly with Eonon, What a joke, i have been with them over emails for over 12 months, and still have a faulty product. When it comes to the parts required to fix the unit. They want me to purchase these parts and then they will reimburse me for this. This sounds extremely dodgy, if a product is faulty then the product should be replaced or repaired at no cost to the customer.

After following emails up for over 12 months, they remain unanswered for the passed 2 months.

Their customer service is a Joke, they have no care at all about their customers, as soon as they have your money, thats the end of any service you get from them.

Worst company i have ever dealt with.
