Christmass nightmare – Months ago we booked and paid for accomodation in their blue room (number 42) from 23.12.24 to 28.12.24, the booking was confirmed shortly thereafter by their office. Yesterday upon enquiry with your office about the check-in time, to my shock i was told by their staff [Name Removed] that there is someone staying in that particular room for the last couple of months and that they intend to continue staying there during the period I have booked and paid for.

It was fully paid for that period of 5 days, Ettalong Beach Tourist resort used my money for almost half a year, nobody advise me that Blue Room is unavailable, nor any compensation was offered.

When I called them just to be sure everything is all right, [Name Removed] were trying to assure me that accommodation can be "upgraded" with spa room, which is a joke due to size (5 times smaller, yes you are reading correctly - 5 times smaller !) and sent me a few photos, without any explanation from their email - enquiries@ettalongbeachtouristresort.com.au.

When I asked to speak to Manager, manager was "on holydays", and next day I received a call from some female (from hidden number) identifying herself as manager assistant, offering just apology, no explanation.

That is really bad experience, which will never happen again, because Ettalong Beach Tourist Resort won't se me and my wife again.
