Minimal flame control: the knobs turn only 120º (⅓ of a full turn). A quarter of that small turn takes the flame from minimum to maximum, leaving you without a real medium flame setting. Simmering is virtually impossible. (See photos for the minimum and maximum positions). Safety issue: Flame extinguishes with ¼ of dial to turn before it reaches the off position. (See photo of knob turned with no flame going, and knob in the off position).
Markings rubbed off quickly: I got the cooktop 3½ weeks ago. Despite only using hot, soapy water to clean, the markings have rubbed off (see photos).
Safety issue: Takes a long time to ignite. The flame lights quickly, but you have to hold the knob down for a long time or the flame goes out. You hear the flame ignite but if there is a pot on the cooktop, you have no idea it has gone out. (See video).
Delivery and installation were fine. But the actual appliance is terrible. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!
