Probably the best value dishwasher available in Australia today – We purchased the Euromaid DR14W to replace a Miele that had failed after 10 years. To be honest, our expectations were quite low as we'd been impressed with the Miele's performance. However, we've found that the performance of the Euromaid to be better than the Miele in some ways. Cleaning performance is generally excellent, with no residue… Read more ·  2

left on dishes (we use the same Aldi dishwasher tablets we used with the Miele). We find the Eco 45 degree setting does a brilliant job on all but the most heavily soiled dishes. Drying performance is also quite good, with the top drawer maybe marginally less effective than the Miele. Noise level is not excessive.

To be honest, the only difference we noticed with the Euromaid vs Miele is that the Euromaid's drawers feel a bit flimsy in comparison. Still, for around a third of the price of a replacement Miele, we have no complaints.

Special mention to Appliances Online for making the purchase of this machine easier than ordering a pizza.

Great for the price – My house had a $6000 Kleenmaid dishwasher in it which we replaced after a year with a $900 Bosch which we’ve just replaced with a $399 Euromaid dishwasher. I cannot find a difference any of them, the Bosch lasted 6 years and I was very happy with it, but I’m sick of paying ridiculous prices for things now that have a finite life, so I’m going the… Read more ·  5

opposite direction and I’m finding there is no point in paying for a name anymore. This dishwasher is a little louder as the door is not as heavy, but apart from that, it has a shorter wash cycle by almost half the Bosch cycle and has exactly the same result. Why pay $500 more for the same result? The reviews on this dishwasher were really positive so I bought one and at this stage, couldn’t be happier. My only complaint is I can’t stack our really tall beer glasses anymore, they are just too tall and don’t feel secure doing them down the bottom, so I hand wash them. It’s not as big as the Bosch, but since there’s only two of us, it’s actually better cause we don’t have to wait as long to get enough dirty plates to clean, but that could be a problem for a family. The top configuration is different, but I like it. It’s what you get used to I guess.

I love this DW – I was going to buy a similarly priced DW from Bunnings, but the reviews I had read were all pretty awful, then I discovered this one. It fits the provision, it looks really modern and sleek - I bought the W version, the racks are pretty well laid out with fitment options for most items. It has a number of special features, like fold down racks to… Read more ·  1

enable larger pots etc to fit easily, fold down racks to place long items and probably others that I haven't really worried about.

It is not a digital readout style, but since I have had it I haven't moved the rotary dial off the 60 min cycle, but I have pressed a few buttons, and the wash has been great. I have used it 3 times since purchase.

Someone mentioned inadequate drying? I have always opened my door on previous models, right or wrong, at the end of the cycle to vent the steam and cool it down. This has always worked for me, and funny enough I have not been back to the shops, so I have not been using rinse aid like I should - still no complaints!

Finally, let me say that this will be a stellar purchase if it continues to wash as it has, and needs no servicing, but comes with a 2 year warranty which instills great piece of mind.

It looks good, washes well, dries fine, doesn't make too much noise, and all my stuff fits easily. Recommended!!

Great value, flexible interior options – I bought this Dishwasher 7 months ago but held off on reviewing it straight away as I wanted to see how it went. So far so good! It replaced a nearly 10 year old Dishlex and by comparison this Euromaid model had a very flexible interior layout which seems to fit more in. Wash quality is very good on all cycles. It seems to be a little bit… Read more ·  1

fiddly if you cancel a cycle (if you chose wrong wash option for example) and try to switch to a different one. For me the customer service and support is important and I have not had to contact Euromaid so cannot comment on that side of things. The price point was excellent value. Very happy with the purchase so far.

Great price and cleans really well – This dishwasher cost me half that of the last brand that I had, and it washes just as well. It has good racks to fit just about anything, and I really like how I can change the settings if I am using a table instead of powder. It's very quiet and everything comes out nice and clean, it also dries well.  Show reply

Minor fault at first but excellent after sales service – Brand new machine purchased Feb 19, 2022. Worked fine, once - washed, drained and dried really well and then developed a fault. Bad quality – Bought the DR14W model. Looks and feels plastic/cheap. Fairly noisy but our lounge area is not close to the kitchen so we did not mind. only a few days after the warranty finished, the machine stopped working and when we rang the seller, they suggested to buy a new one. We expected the machine to last a bit longer that the warranty but obviously that is not the case. If you want a reliable decent machine, then this may not be the one to buy.

Same problem as many others. Doesn't work after 3 months – Worked OK for 3 months. Noticed the electricity bill went up over that period. No biggie, its a cheap machine with a pretty average energy star rating. Then all of a sudden it stopped cleaning and just sits and hums. Reading through reviews and comments here reveal its a common problem and likely a design flaw, as to get it working you… Read more

actually need to pull it out from the cabinet and tip it forward while it is running to drain wherever water has accumulated. It does not seem safe that a sealed machine could possibly leak enough water into wherever it got into to stop it working, then once the dirty water has spilled all over the floor its good to go again. Needs a recall and redesign. I have no idea how these things passed quality control to get onto the australian market. Avoid.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times – I've had this dishwasher for about 2.5 years now. For the first 12 months she was little gem. highly under rated machine – the machine is a lot quieter than our previous machine that wears a know brand. i found a lot of parts exactly the same as the big brand washer we had so i kept some for spares. this proves a lot of the parts come from the same factory in china as the part numbers match. why pay more when this washer does a fantastic job quietly.  Show details ·  1

It has worked well for 18 months but now the door wont close – This is one of the cheapest Dishwasher options, and it suits me well. Love it, such good work for great price – Why did i retain my old piece of junk dishwasher for so long, when all my dish washing problems could have been solved for a mere $400? Really good value – This is the dishwasher to buy if you are after a basic, good value dishwasher that cleans well. compared to some other models but this has not been an issue for us. We typically run it on the Eco setting of 45 degrees and this is sufficient for nearly all applications. We had a Samsung previously, and the Euromaid performs about the same but is perhaps a touch less quiet. I figure that the limited electronics compared to most other models will result in a longer life. So far, so good. Even if this unit only lasts half as long as a premium brand item, it will still represent much better value.

the bottle in and this solved the problem.

The dishes come out extremely clean and I only use Finish Powder and rinse aid.

Also when cycle is finished I was advised to leave door closed for at least half an hour.

This seems to work well with only a few plastic items that need a bit of a wipe with a tea towel.

I find the dishwasher fairly quiet and it looks great.

This is a great dishwasher for the price and I love the 30 minute cycle.

flatten down some of the plate guides so that you can fit pots in without having to worry about the handle slipping through the bottom and jamming the spinning water jet.

Then open ,after about an hour I start to take things out and all is dry . Not sure why some people have trouble with the drying, just when the machine finishes touch the front of it and feel that it's hot . (Don't open if it's hot . If it's not than something is not right with the machine as it is the hot steam that dries the dishes . Hope this helps

Great Dishwasher at a reasonable price – Bought this dishwasher based on previous reviews provided on this site. I have not been disappointed as the dishwasher is great, it is quiet and washes and dries dishes very well. My favourite features would be the ease of operation with easy to use dial for wash cycles.
