Euromaid R54 EW/CW/RW

Poor Design, Inferior parts – The only thing that works efficiently is the oven, and only on the standard fan forced setting. All other settings on oven don't manage to do what they describe. (won't get to optimum temperature). The hotplates have a similar problem. The drip pans started rusting also. The oven door is open at the top and spillage can enter inside door leaving the glass stained and unable to be cleaned.

Euromaid oven – Very good oven .I love it I don't have turn it off when the timer goes off oven is off..I don"t have to clean. It is automatically cleans. I just have to wipe the dust out and I have lot of time saving for cleaning. I love it. Very good.  Show details ·  1

Great stove for the price – I have used these upright ovens for years in my rental properties and they have proved very reliable.I chose them on price and for the 2 year warranty and have not been disappointed. Was good nearly burnt the house down – 4 years of working well except the numbers rubbed off all the dials. Now it blows smoke smelling of burning plastic from the oven. Not heavy use - we usually cook outside. It was just keeping pizzas warm at the time. Show details

Don't waste your money! Steer clear of anything that has simmer stat in it – Completely dissatisfied with the simmer stat cooktop, it keeps going off so you can't cook evenly, e.g. cooked a chicken schnitzel the other night it was raw in the middle & burnt on the outside, I also tried to cook a bechamel sauce which didn't thicken, so I lifted up the saucepan I was cooking it in & it was cold underneath, it had turned… Read more

itself off, again I've cooked these 100's of times, I'm a good cook. I have never come across a more frustrating piece of rubbish in my life. It's 2 week old. I wasn't told about this feature at the time I was enquiring about the different cookers, otherwise I would never have considered such a weird & totally unusable piece of crap. Also unless you turn the timer on for the exact time required when using the oven it also turns itself off. 1 star is too generous.

Hmm is my stovetop faulty – Would like to know if anyone else has this problem with this electric oven/stovetop. When using the stovetop you can’t have two or more elements on as they don’t heat /cook at the same time . My oven is only couple of months old. Show details

induction free standing stove – what a rubbish product the oven element went as well as the fanforce fan the glass cooktop was easy marked so be aware the wireing in the back was not achored properly in the back no the main wire but the ones inside the appliance poor i owned it for just over a year and a half its now going to the tip the beling stove much better  Show details

Great affordable oven – Cooks great and easy layout make using it very easy. I'm used to more expensive ovens but needed a temporary oven while upgrading the kitchen but have decided to keep it because it's easy functionality. Very Disappointed – Disappointed for several reasons. Have not followed up with retailer or manufacturer as I value my days off more than the processes of Fair Trading etc that have been described by others.

Have attempted to replace the knobs privately through a spare parts distributor, but they are slow to respond and seek credit card details on an unsecured system. I do not wish to risk further financial vulnerability to Euromaid and their affiliates.

The stove is now heading to 2 years old - details of purchase now lost to us, but the Burnt Baking and constant frustration is ongoing - should have done stronger homework and acted on early disappointments rather than "grin and bare" a very disappointing stove.

Will not purchase a Euromaid product again.

Don't know how we cooked before we got this – This is an extremely easy oven to cook with. The oven light makes it easy to check on the food without opening the oven door and the top is very easy to clean and maintain. We have been very happy with all the results from this oven. Good replacement – Pleased with Euromaid R54CW which we purchased as a replacement after about 20 years of use from the previous stove/oven. With a particular space available it was proving difficult to get the size needed so had to go a little smaller. A lot we looked at didn't have a separate grill or were not fan-forced this has both features and we are really happy with it and it's performance after 6 months. Happy  Show details ·  1

Good oven cooks well and easy to use – Purchase one for a rental property to replace a 2 year old Westinghouse which fell apart. The fan forced cooking for the oven works well, cooktop is easy to clean and dials are easy to use. Badly built – My landlord purchased this stove/oven and it worked quite well for the first year until the problems started. The big element has had to be replaced three times now due to multiple problems, basically stopped heating and the first time actually blew a fuse and caught on fire! The other three small elements take ages to boil water and the oven often gets very smokey. I really liked the idea of the self cleaning, but that doesn't seem to show.  Show details

Buying another brand today!!! – Pulled open the oven door and it fell to the ground shattering the front glass when only a few months old. HOT air flows from the grill while the oven is on. Grill looks deep but very shallow. Rubber seal broke few weeks in. I read on this review someone else had the oven door hit the ground and shatter the glass too. Great Stove – My landlady decided i needed a new stove so she bought the Euromaid R54CW and i could not be more pleased with it the burners are fantastic and the Oven is the best i could hope for i can choose whether i want to fan forced cook or just the oven cook.i hope to have many years of good cooking with it. It does what it says – Food cooks good, hasn't improved my cooking ability, it looks pretty, it heats up quick. the fan forced feature is good too. never blown a hotplate but the clock did stop working and it got replaced under warranty. great service and the dude even cleaned it. what a legend. make sure you clean the glass or anything will stick to it  Show details ·  1

Terrible.. on our 2nd euromaid oven and it's done the same – Terrible customer care! Oven is dangerous. It blows hotplates every few months. We had one replacement thinking we just had a lemon how ever notbthe case. The oven is 4 years old – This oven is terrible, 4 years old 2 hot plates don't work and neither does the oven fan. I had to buy an oven timer because there's none provided. Oven door shattered and cut my hand and foot – I am totally disgusted with euromaid customer care. Oven door shattered cut my hand on glass has been approx 1 month still no door. very good so far – Gg54rrw model .coil element are hot and heat quickly.easy to clean and replace. Fan oven cooked 2 pork and one lrg chicken in 2 hours .even heat and heats quickly. Never again – F54CW. Was excited to buy a new oven with ceramic cook top. The continuous cold air blowing from the grill during baking is annoying. if you are not watching every minute suddenly get hot and burn food. I love cooking and am so disappointed. I am a pensioner and cant afford to buy another new stove . Very disappointed.

concern for my elderly parents – Air that is supposed to cool the switches is cooking them and my parents when they stand in front of the stove!! Numbers rubbed off – I bought this stove and within a few weeks the numbers rubbed off the control panel. Unreadable control knobs – same thing happened to me, within months of purchase, writing on control knobs all rubbed off, warranty says anything plastic not covered, they cost an unbelievable $38 each, for that price they would want to be gold plated.my fiancé keeps either burning food or undercooking it as a result, apart from that all good

euromaid upright. worse stove I have had the misfortune to have bought – the cooling fan is annoying and not mentioned in product manual or by Good Guys where I purchased a week ago. I just got installed today and was following instruction manual to prepare stove and grill before using. I just don't want to use it because of the constant noise from that fan. sooo disappointed. It took me a long time to save for a new stove and it's taking a long time for that annoying fan to stop whirring. . Shame on you

No problems – Having experienced some of the reported problems in the first hour, I remembered Phenangles Third Law: "When all else fails, read the instruction manual". The problems promptly disappeared. Don't expect a new product to perform in an identical fashion to the old one. It's called development and progress. A good product, well engineered and supported. Great Product – After having an issue with the grill and the prompt service by the appliance service guy am very happy. The fan is a great safety feature and shows Euromaid has my families welfare covered. it is a delight to cook with. Cannot wait to do a whole lot of baking.  Show 2 replies
